I think you should rename your video to signal that this is for 1080p TVs only. This can be useful for someone with an older or lower resolution TV, but when you title your video "the best resolution", people will probably assume you are referring to the best resolution possible (4k / 8k).

So far I’ve watched several videos of you guys doing this and none of you guys explain it,thoroughly or even show what someone needs to actually do you give like a little rundown instead of explaining it like at the end with the advanced colours on when they say they want you to use RGB or blue filter only and adjust the white and blue stripes till they look the same do you think you can actually do a video that breaks this down a little more man then this?
This is my only advice. If you are using a monitor that is capable of true 10 bit processing, set your res to the of the panel, and your RGB colour to pc, and your colour depth to 10 bit.
If you are playing on a monitor that is not 10 bit native, leave the colour depth at 8 bit, and also set your RGB colour to pc.
If you have a 4k TV, and its true 10 bit, select that, if it's 8 bit, leave it there. But leave your RGB to standard. Don't select pc, it "looks" more saturated but it's giving you the wrong colour info.
HDR is a mixed bag. But your max luminance shouldn't exceed that of your panels roll off curve.
That is actually great advice for people maybe new to 4k tvs, a lot of people set their nits to max in game and it looks awful, I just bought two recently and retired my old, still great, Panasonic Viera EX50 and Sony Bravia (cannot remember the model if they 4k set but bought in 2017) and got an LG Flex (tbh I would avoid it even with its party trick, too expensive for what you get) and an incredible TV from TCL C745k, it has all the bells and whistles for a sub £600 TV, it has 144htz, ALLM, Dolby Vision IQ, HDR10+, IMAX etc, even has Dolby Atmos speakers but you know yourself why not have a decent sound bar for a great TV, hate that tinny sound and don't like wearing the wireless Steel Series headphones all the time, I cannot recommend the Ultimea Nova Dolby Atmos soundbar enough my friend, it is sub £200 quid, the speaker is 30cm (you get bass woofer also) and for the money it is incredible, what you playing atm mate? If I could recommend you a few it would be Outer Wilds, Stellar Blade, Hellblade (especially if you have a Series Xbox), Everspace 2 is epic and nothing like the first, Aliens Dark Descent, Trepang2, Outcast A New Beginning, you've probably played all of these but just a few if you are bored annnnd speaking of bored you are probably bored reading my long reply 😂, hope you and your family are all grand, respect from Dublin 🤝🙏

No firmware update for what? If u think it’ll support DP, that makes no sense, Microsoft literally has to make a new console w/ the new port and have the system support it through software

Understandable for a, I don’t have a single 1080p tv in my house, all are 4k, but my monitor I use is 1080p. It’s not half bad, but I might upgrade in the next year and then give my brother my monitor I’m using now so he can save some money on a setup. My monitor was only $110, so really good for the price.

@@safaroawareIf you are looking for a 144htz TV that won't break the bank i cannot recommend the TCL C745k enough, supports VRR, ALLM, Dolby Vision IQ, HDR10+ etc etc even has decent Dolby Atmos built in speakers, you can also bypass Sony and Xbox Bluetooth by setting your output to Bluetooth and set the delay back 2 and its in sync, for a TV you can get for sub £600 its incredible, for an incredible Dolby Atmos soundbar the Ultimea Nova is less than £200, I have an LG Flex, even with its party trick it's not worth the money, I prefer the TCL, i used to be a brand snob but shopping around I couldn't turn them down for that, hope that helps you my friend if you've not already gotten one, what you playing atm? I recommend you Outer Wilds, Aliens Dark Descent, Trepang2, Stellar Blade, Hellblade (especially if you have an Xbox SX/S or PC) Dragons Dogma also great, currently doing another play through of Cyberpunk 2077, finished it and DLC on PS5, XBSX this time, I bought that Rockay City for £14, not the best game but better than Payday 3, there's another few games if you see on sale I highly recommend, Syberia TWB, Get Even (janky and not a looker but such a great story, mental story), you've probably played all of these but just in case, all the best from Ireland 🇮🇪🙏🤝

No harm in turning it on, it's for 50Hz TV content which is mainly a European thing

Just watch the video and Change the one setting? If youre still struggling watching a tutorial look up the Article they posted online, if you still can't find that one setting you must be doing somthing wrong.

Im using a monitor that has a 144hz with 1ms and its only running 60hz how do I get it to 144hz

U HAVE to make sure your TV is HDMI 2.0 or higher

turn on your free sync technology on your monitor/tv
.
then go to Video fidelity & overscan
-turn on “Auto detect” for Overrides
-select PC RGB for Color space since u have a monitor
-then you should be able to choose your Refresh rate and resolution
-for me I run VRR Gaming only
-I allow 4K
-I switch from 4K 60HZ 8bit PC RGB and sometimes I turn on 1440p 120Hz 10bit PC RGB

it depends what monitor u have and what HDMI version your monitor is, since I have 2.0, it maxes out at 4k 60Hz 8bit

2.0 can also max out at 1440p 120hz 10bit which is around 17-18gbps where as if I had a HDMI 2.1 monitor, I can run 4k 120hz 10bit Pc RGB all day which is around 48gbps
