The teams were basically the craziest warriors for Ken vs the most disciplined warriors for Bethany.

Fun fact : gryphon was a lawbringer when he was younger, you can see it at the beginning of his trailer when he says "some of you have known me under other names" !

wel, he wasnt just a lawbringer, he was apollyons second, but still true
He was the law
He wasn’t just any Lawbringer
He was Holden Cross, Apollyon’s right hand man, one of the mightiest warriors in Ashfeld
After the war with Apollyon, his crimes committed while he was a member of the Blackstone Legion weren’t just forgotten, and like Apollyon before him, he set out on a journey of self discovery
But unlike Apollyon who would unite Heathmoor against her, Holden would unite Heathmoor against the Apollyon wannabe Astrea, and in a way he would become more like Apollyon than Astrea did
Holden Cross was once a lion chained to the ideals of his master, but through his journey and return to Heathmoor and forming of the Chimera Alliance, he broke his chains and gained the freedom of eagle wings
But in the end we will never forget what he started as, he was the LAW
So the video missed the whole Chinese faction, Sakura, Highlander and Gladiator. And I believe Orochi translates to Serpent and/or snake
Just thought I’d add some stuff: Vortiger’s class is the Black Prior, warrior monks that were in exile, Hulda’s class is the Jormungandr a cult of banished Vikings with rare skin disease that makes their skin like scales. The hammer weapon they use represents Thor’s hammer which they stole after their god killed Thor in Ragnarok
Thanks so much for all that info 😃 We couldn’t find much on the Chinese faction that had similar trailers like these. And yes Gladiator and Highlander were omitted as we wanted even teams and even amount from each faction. Cuz we are weird 😂😂🤗

Also, you guys should definitely check out the executions from for honor. there some waaaay out there crazy ones that will leave your jaws on the floor XD

Shugoki I believe means gate keeper or demon of some sort. Their name comes from people setting statues of the “shugoki” in front of gates as a form of protection and like a deal with a demon

Truth. We changed the title because this time we actually did know ahead of time it wouldn’t be all. We wanted even numbers and could only find one trailer for the Chinese faction. The others for that faction were like 10 minute gameplay footage ones 🙃🤗

If I am correct the only heroes you missed beside the 5 Wu Lin you mentioned are the Gladiator for the Knights, the Hitokiri for the Samurai, and the Highlander for the Vikings. Great reaction, and both of your teams would be very strong. A new hero is expected to come out for the Samurai on the 22nd I believe with the name of Mirage also. If you are interested in the executions I have all the heroes unlocked on my account and I could put together a complication of each heroes unique executions, I could mute the ingame music so hopefully there would be no copyright issues?

How odd that they included Warmonger but not the Hitokiri from the Samurai or the Wu-Lin especially Zhanhu since they released before Warmonger
They already watched the Hitokiri trailer prior, not knowing it was a character trailer.

We had the Zhanu Wu-Lin initially planned but could find others from that faction that had similar trailers so we just left the faction out 🤔🙃🤗

Here are all the samurai character name translations, a few may not be accurate but they should be close.
Kensei: Sword Saint
Orochi: Assassin
Hitokiri: (Wasn't in the video but she's a character) Manslayer/Murderer
Nobushi: Field Warrior
Shugoki: Guardian Oni (Oni is a demon in Japanese mythology)
Shinobi: Covert Agent
Aramusha: Rough/Wild Warrior
The other faction being the Wu Lin, have their name translations below
Tiandi: Heaven and earth
Jiang Jun: General
Nuxia: Female Hero/Female Warrior
Shaolin: Named after the Shaolin monks
Zhanhu: War Tiger

My money is on Bethany's team, simply because she seemed to get more strategist/tactician types, whereas Ken's team seems mostly shock and awe/ brute force types. Brute force has its place, but I'll take tactics any day. Now, I haven't actually played this game myself, I'm just going off the character trailers. Every trailer and bit of gameplay I've seen for this game, however, makes it seem like it might be very badass and fun to play, indeed. Finally, we only say the things we say about you because we mean it. For me, I can honestly say that watching you two is a highlight of my day, I anxiously await each post, and I do enjoy providing background/backstory info for you guys when I know it, and I also enjoy reading and reacting to other comments, interacting with people all over the world who are into the same things I am is a lot of fun. Love being part of this community! Keep up the good work, you crazy, kooky couple, you!

Oh really? Wasn’t sure how that was set up but if there are more vids we can do like this that would be cool. Are the killer trailers new characters or familiar faces? One of the reasons this worked is we knew nothing about the characters ahead of time 😃🥳

That serpent was the world ender snake in Norse mythology. You anger it any way and it destroys the world. Legend says that Thor would do battle with it in the final clash and the lore isn’t quite clear on the answer as the outcome is either Thor wins but dies of injuries sustained only to enter Valhalla or Thor loses and dies anyway still going to Valhalla. The hammer would be passed on in any event.

Oh great video, love the teams lol. Although, you guys actually missed like 8 characters (gladiator, Highlander, Sakura/hitokiri, and the 5 Chinese Wu Lin) so idk if you wanna take your pickings off camera lol. Also, should be a new character coming out on the 22 this month so get ready :) also considering in game strength I’d say the teams are about even, at least considering the latest reworks. Sorry for the long comment, but as someone who’s played for 5 ish years now, I just love seeing new people find this game!

Funny thing that IRL it was quite the opposite - nodachi was used as a battlefield weapon because of it's range, that allowed infantry to fight cavalry, while katana (what most people understand of this term) was more like secondary, "last chance"-sort of weapon and a status thing.

Well i really like REALLY didnt believed that ya'll back to For Honor again to react to other stuff and actually try to learn something about the game that was fun to watch and original as well but there was one faction missing, the Wu-lin in my opinion that's the most bad ass faction with the best moveset and style implemeted to it but that's just a thought.
Anyway i do hope that both of ya will still do as good content as the current one, thanks for The entertainment and take care.

So, as for the translations of the Samurai Hero names, I don't speak Japanese or read Kanji all too well, but after some research, it's somethin like this.
_Orochi_ - Great Snake/Serpent (short for _Yamata no Orochi,_ an 8-headed snake from Japanese Mythology)
_Shugoki_ - Guardian Oni (Oni creature from Japanese mythology, often translated a Ogre or Devil)
_Kensei_ - _Ken_ (Sword) _Sei_ (Saint) The title _"Kensei"_ was often bestowed upon Samurai who had acquired incredible mastery of the sword.
_Nobushi_ - This one's a bit tricky. The most common translation I keep seeing was "Field Warrior" which makes sense as she is apparently a protector of the outer villages and the people.
_Shinobi_ - The Japanese word for "Ninja" (which the Chinese came up with apparently?)
_Hitokiri_ - Manslayer ( _Hito_ is commonly translated as 'person' and _Kiri_ when seperate means 'mist' or 'fog' which seems to be part of the theme they went with for the trailer)
In Japanese, when two Kanji are combined they can often completely alter the meaning behind them.
Yeah we have to make sure we don’t fill our glasses up too full 😂🤗
