Interesting fact: the operator Fuze (2:04) is based on rescue mission in Beslan. For 2.5 days, terrorists held more than 1,100 hostages (mostly children, their parents and school staff) in a mined school building. After the failure of the negotiations, an assault was launched using heavy military equipment, as a result of which 334 hostages (mostly children) died.
This was such a good reaction! I suggest watching the cinematics they have such as "the tournament of champions" or "the playbook" where they fight defender and attacker against eachother, now that you know some of the operators! Keep up the amazing work!
26:20 ironic how you compare Nøkk to a Dead by Daylight character trailer, considering she's my main in Rainbow Six: Siege, and I found your channel through the Dead by Daylight trailer reactions lol
Pulse and Hibana are in a relationship. Funny, in another trailer in one of the big training sessions. Hibana gets the upper edge on Pulse and says “Sorry honey,” and shoots him with the rubber bullet lol
Glaz is so badass, “Do you know what an artist and a sniper have in common? Details. Like when a touch of color is out of place. When a shadow does not match with its surroundings. Or when a shape is not where it is supposed to be. The only difference is the stakes. Mine are higher”
Very cool video! I have played this game for 6 years and its fun to see the reaction of people who don't know as much about it. Keep up the good the work!
So in the beginning, rainbow six siege was "kinda" realistic with the operators, their gadgets and weapons but as time passed on, they introduced some gadgets that were reoccurring but redesigned for new operators (which isn't good, because that's the only gadget they have) and it got somewhat ridiculous. But it's a good game nonetheless. Not as good as it once was tho, sadly.
Sam Fisher, could put a lot of the operators to shame. Splinter cell is the other big Tom clancy game series. That's where Sam Fisher is from, great stealth games. Amazing reaction video as always
This is a really good reaction considering that they didn't have knowledge of the game, therefore no context of what some of the gadgets does. And good job, this is a pretty complete video. I've been playing Siege for almost 4 years and it's actually the first time for me to watch some of the scenes from this video.
Since you like these trailers, you'd probably like the nation trailers. They dropped them for the base game's upcoming release. There is a trailer for the FBI/SWAT, GIGN, GSG9, SAS, and Spetznaz..who each have 4 operators (2 defense 2 attacker). They show off the base operators in-game, so you can see what these people look like in-game.
Tachanka’s “awesome” weapon is a DP-27…a Soviet light machine gun made in 1927…that’s why he’s badass, uses a pre World War II weapon and still kicks ass.
Also interesting fact: Some operators were inspired by real persons. Like Gilles Touré aka Montagne was inspired by Air France Flight 8969 hijack in 1994, as GIGN officer went in, he took stun grenade blast, shotgun shot and few bullets to the chest, and still kept going. And Timur Glazkov aka Glaz was inspired by Vasiliy Zaytsev, who was a soviet sniper during WW2 or even Shuhrat Kessikbayev aka Fuze, who was inspired by not a person but rather an event that took place at Moscow at 2002, known as Nord-Ost hostage crisis which known for lots of unpredicted civil casualties, and it's portrayed by Fuze in Hostage-Rescue missions. ''Fuzing'' hostage even became a local meme.
9:27 I believe this whole exercise is actually done in the GIGN, they wear a ceramic plate on their chest and their teammate has to shoot it while they wear it. Think it’s called a ‘trust shot,’ or however they say it in France.
the third one you watched is Fuze, his ability was the thing he had in his hand. he places it on a wall, it drills a small hole and shoots out 5 frag grenades through. his video doesn't do him justice 'cause if one of those goes off, everyone just runs away in fear. Thatcher has the EMP, Mute has signal jammer he puts on the floor (he also never talks). Smoke's gas is officially "compound Z8" some people believe it's Mustard Gas from the colour. These 3 plus Sledge makes up the SAS unit in the game. Oh and Pulse has a heart beat sensor, generally deploys it finds the heart beat then shoots where it is.
@@Land967 if you check his bio it actually says that he's very talkative when someone mentions his interests. He could be on autism spectrum or something, considering he was kind of a child prodigy. Also his teammates consider him annoying except for Thatcher xD
8:17 That's a DP-27, a Soviet LMG from World War 2. A favorite of the Soviets, it could be fired from prone with the bipod or from the hip, using an arm of the bipod as a foregrip. One way it was used was flipping the bipod backwards so it folded forwards, making it more ergonomic.
Omg same!! Ever since day one. I miss the old days when Kapkan traps got insta kills. I once got an ace and won the game as kap back then, in ranked, when I was last man standing. The attackers all decided to push objective at the same time and triggered all three traps simultaneously lol. He's been my fav ever since. Sledge was super fun too, I've got a lot of sneaky flank kills with him by smashing through random walls. 😏
Warden is my fav defender cuz dude is literally wearing a suit admist being in an organization where they defeat terrorists (at least from when the game had that story) and he's just like the white dad of team Rainbow lol. His gadget is considered useless, but I find it to be useful in many situations. I'll always main him 😄
The think that was in the sealing is echoes yokai drone that when is in the sealing it goes invisible and the first one with iq is basically a screen that has thermal vision and that helped her defuse the explosions
At the time of upload, that compilation is only missing 2 ops, 1 of which was brand new if I'm remembering correctly, so it makes sense they wouldn't have been in any compilations like this yet, I'm referring to Thorn, Thunderbird was the other missing OP. As for at the time I finally watched this, just 1 more OP has been announced and that's Azami.
Lord Tachanka. Also I'm guessing you've never played Spinter Cell. That's the legendary Sam Fisher from Splinter Cell, his trademark is the visor with 3 green lenses.
Tachanka no longer has his mounted lmg sadly. Now he has an incendiary grenade launcher and his lmg is now not mounted and is just a normal weapon. Jäger is actually pronounced Yay-gr. It means Hunter in German
9:29 in facty when you enter in french military police GIGN its a welcom things and a trust thing to do to be accepted they really do it it calls in french tir de confiance (trust shoot) and for information sam fisher is splinter celle main character
can I ask a dump question: is Sam founder of this operator's group? Cuz the thing I know that he's the first specialist of Tom Clancy's game series, I played the game long time ago
No he operates outside of rainbow but within the same universe. In Siege he was brought in after some time as a trainer and advisor to give experience to Team Rainbow.
I love their quotes in their bios, Mute’s is my favorite. “People think my name is Mute because I don’t talk. Maybe I just don’t like you.” (Or something close to that)
Great video!! Love this game and its so fun to watch people react to this game! I do wanna say I haven't seen a comment yet talk about this but maybe someone did. But after the Ash video you mentioned that she had a bit of a Lara Croft braid and in the game operators are given these special Elite skins that have fun animations if your team wins and you are MVP of the match. Ash has an elite skin that is themed after Lara Croft and it makes her look like the character.
This made me feel incredibly nostalgic. I remember saving up to unlock all of them back in Year 1, watched their trailer after each unlock, hyped that that i got a new operator. Makes me sad to see how ubi has massacred this great game over the years.
8:10 I think its not "jager" only "yeager". There is A umlaut. And he is german(flag). 19:23 it is polish trailer. That hole in the wall has shape of Poland. And she say: I am the one who decides when to hold back. And when to kill. Only the best dictate the terms.
Stopped playing a while back but my favorite was Lesion, he puts down poisonous spike mines that slow people down and makes a noise to alert you to their position, lets you lurk around corners all day.
The same thing is seen in For Honor trailers. They always start with trailers that actually show clear information on what every character does and then each trailer after shows less and less until its not even much of a trailer and more of a teaser that leaves people confused.
So it seems you actually got a 2-2 split on the best special forces people, The SAS. Thacher throws EMP grenades, Sledge uses a sledgehammer to literally smash through walls, mute uses a device that somehow mutes all sound inside and smoke throws special smoke bombs that are positionous. Now as characters they aren't the best, but the unit they represent is the best of the best... The SAS.
I’m amazed, so I can feel so attached to these characters yet they barely do anything with them story wise❤ just stuff like this and things they say in game just hits different nine years ago and now and let alone still playing it😂❤
Breacher squad all around the world always have a shieldbearer guy as their spearhead tip for opening their tactical step into new unknown room inside building :D
Hey! There's a cinematic that's pretty long called tournament of champions and it's one of the best cinematics of gaming in my opinion. It has a majority of the characters and expands on their personalities.
I don't know why but Tachanka's machine gun is basically a rifle with a giant plate for a magazine on it. By the way, when it comes to destroying stuff, Sledge is speaking my language. Quick edit : The giant black box thing at 7:48 is a Mark.II automatic grenade launcher. It's used for training purposes like the one you saw where operators get to test anti-proyectile devices. These devices work like this : Let's say you have multiple incoming missiles and you need something to destroy them quickly, hence, not allowing the missile reach it's target. The device Jäger used works especially for that but with small proyectiles like a grenade. That device is the electronic warfare equivalent of a spider making a spiderweb and catching a fly.
I love how they basically are the two sides of the siege community, He grabs the more fun-looking ops, while she grabbed the better team competitively.

Interesting fact: the operator Fuze (2:04) is based on rescue mission in Beslan. For 2.5 days, terrorists held more than 1,100 hostages (mostly children, their parents and school staff) in a mined school building. After the failure of the negotiations, an assault was launched using heavy military equipment, as a result of which 334 hostages (mostly children) died.
and thats the reason we dont use Fuze when playing "hostage"
😢
And fuzes ability is like a launcher that launches bombs thats why everytime you use them theirs a high chance both enemy and friend casualties

😎🤟 great cult classic. Never played the game though 😃
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames oof, you really missed out on Rockstar's underrated game.
This was such a good reaction! I suggest watching the cinematics they have such as "the tournament of champions" or "the playbook" where they fight defender and attacker against eachother, now that you know some of the operators! Keep up the amazing work!
Thanks! We plan to check out both eventually 😅
Wife called Dibs on Thermite and Thatcher. Wise choice. Can never go wrong with the best duo Siege has ever created
🤗
The best duo is Fuze and hostages
8:09 That one. That one hurt. It's Jäger in German for Hunter pronounced "yay-grrrr" like in Pacific Rim.
And like the drink haha, we missed the umlaut 😔😣😖 Apologies 🤗
26:20 ironic how you compare Nøkk to a Dead by Daylight character trailer, considering she's my main in Rainbow Six: Siege, and I found your channel through the Dead by Daylight trailer reactions lol
😂😁🤗
Pulse and Hibana are in a relationship. Funny, in another trailer in one of the big training sessions. Hibana gets the upper edge on Pulse and says “Sorry honey,” and shoots him with the rubber bullet lol
Nice. 😁
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames not only that, the friend Hibana was talking about is Thermite
She says "sorry babe", sorry for nitpicking but I lowkey love that pairing 😂

I stopped playing Siege mid season during Neon Dawn. My favorite operators to use were Ela, Jackal, Rook, and Thatcher.
😎😅
Did you just get bored
@@jeremyguantonbingleberry8546 eh somewhat.
@@mozambiquehere5903 I miss the old siege, that is when I’ve had the most fun. The newer siege is kinda meh
@@jeremyguantonbingleberry8546 agreed
Glaz is so badass,
“Do you know what an artist and a sniper have in common? Details. Like when a touch of color is out of place. When a shadow does not match with its surroundings. Or when a shape is not where it is supposed to be. The only difference is the stakes. Mine are higher”
I have his elite he’s my fav
Very cool video! I have played this game for 6 years and its fun to see the reaction of people who don't know as much about it. Keep up the good the work!
Thanks so much 😃🥳
So in the beginning, rainbow six siege was "kinda" realistic with the operators, their gadgets and weapons but as time passed on, they introduced some gadgets that were reoccurring but redesigned for new operators (which isn't good, because that's the only gadget they have) and it got somewhat ridiculous. But it's a good game nonetheless. Not as good as it once was tho, sadly.
Nothing good lasts forever 🤗
0:00 Russian guy fires DP-28 with Kalinka music is awesome.
Sam Fisher, could put a lot of the operators to shame. Splinter cell is the other big Tom clancy game series. That's where Sam Fisher is from, great stealth games. Amazing reaction video as always
Actually Sam Fisher is canonically in the game as the operator Zero. I was delighted to find that out as I love splinter cell myself!
This is a really good reaction considering that they didn't have knowledge of the game, therefore no context of what some of the gadgets does. And good job, this is a pretty complete video. I've been playing Siege for almost 4 years and it's actually the first time for me to watch some of the scenes from this video.
Glad you enjoyed it! 😃🥳😊
Thanks for suggestion 😃
And then there are the two Canadian ops. Funny that the Canadian studio has less Canadians than any other country.
4:04 you say he did nothing while the video demonstrated a portfolio of his career defending others based on the battle scars of shield.
A lot of their gadgets are pretty interesting, may be cool to see in game versions of them too
Yeah heard there are vids breaking down the gadgets functions 😃
Nobody:
The one guy who plays Fuze in Hostage: I'm doing my part!
12:08 gets me every time, where it's all quiet except for Mute breathing.
Tachanka’s “awesome” weapon is a DP-27…a Soviet light machine gun made in 1927…that’s why he’s badass, uses a pre World War II weapon and still kicks ass.
A lot of these trailers were teasers so that’s why in some of the clips you can’t really tell what the character abilities are.
😎👍🙂
Thank you for reacting to something i recomended :D
Our pleasure 😊
Also interesting fact:
Some operators were inspired by real persons.
Like Gilles Touré aka Montagne was inspired by Air France Flight 8969 hijack in 1994, as GIGN officer went in, he took stun grenade blast, shotgun shot and few bullets to the chest, and still kept going.
And Timur Glazkov aka Glaz was inspired by Vasiliy Zaytsev, who was a soviet sniper during WW2
or even Shuhrat Kessikbayev aka Fuze, who was inspired by not a person but rather an event that took place at Moscow at 2002, known as Nord-Ost hostage crisis which known for lots of unpredicted civil casualties, and it's portrayed by Fuze in Hostage-Rescue missions. ''Fuzing'' hostage even became a local meme.
That makes sense. We wouldn’t have been able to tell who was based on real life characters though 😂🤗
Don’t forget Valkyrie, who’s design was based off of Kinessa Johnson, a Navy Seal op
9:27 I believe this whole exercise is actually done in the GIGN, they wear a ceramic plate on their chest and their teammate has to shoot it while they wear it. Think it’s called a ‘trust shot,’ or however they say it in France.
Thanks! 🙂
the third one you watched is Fuze, his ability was the thing he had in his hand. he places it on a wall, it drills a small hole and shoots out 5 frag grenades through. his video doesn't do him justice 'cause if one of those goes off, everyone just runs away in fear.
Thanks for explaining it more for us 😃
Mute does talk. He just talks less.
@@ДмитрийБессонов-з2ф maybe the odd callout but nothing more, certainly shouldn't expect him to talk in a cinematic.
13:03
As you should! A man willing to commit war crimes for victory is a man who will be sure to obtain victory
😧
Nice. My favorite operator is Kapkan since day one and still is to this day❤ Along with Sledge of course 😍
The sledge! 😃
The original version of the game prior to all the updates was a gem to play back in its first year of 2015-2016.
☺️
Great Video! Beginning hahaha so funny. You got excited and your wife was like "nothing happened yet"!🤣
😂🤗
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames 🤣☺👍
Most people who dont play this game have to agree. Once we saw Sam Fisher we nearly got sucked into thinking it was Splinter Cell
Marks on shield telling a story "you can have the guy that did nothing" hahaha
🤗😇
Warden is my fav defender cuz dude is literally wearing a suit admist being in an organization where they defeat terrorists (at least from when the game had that story) and he's just like the white dad of team Rainbow lol. His gadget is considered useless, but I find it to be useful in many situations. I'll always main him 😄
😎🤟😁
Warden is underrated but it's not so common to find yourself in a situation where he's useful
Warden’s backstory is that he was in the secret service and then became one of the president’s bodyguards. That’s why he wears a suit.
9:30 fun fact thats actually a ''test'' done by the GIGN (basically french swat for those who dont know)
😎👍🙂
The think that was in the sealing is echoes yokai drone that when is in the sealing it goes invisible and the first one with iq is basically a screen that has thermal vision and that helped her defuse the explosions
“Fookin laser sights” classic meme 😂
U should also react to all the cinamatic rainbow six siege videos theyr great and give u a little bit of a backstory of some characters
yeah mate they are so good i hoped thay watched in this video but they didn't
We will get to those for sure 😎
At the time of upload, that compilation is only missing 2 ops, 1 of which was brand new if I'm remembering correctly, so it makes sense they wouldn't have been in any compilations like this yet, I'm referring to Thorn, Thunderbird was the other missing OP. As for at the time I finally watched this, just 1 more OP has been announced and that's Azami.
Yeah we have a little bit of catching up to do after this and heard the new cinematic is good as well 😎
Still love how they added same fisher into this game
Finally this! All thats left is the others cinematics
Yeah we have to do the cinematic movie for this next for R6 😇
Lord Tachanka. Also I'm guessing you've never played Spinter Cell. That's the legendary Sam Fisher from Splinter Cell, his trademark is the visor with 3 green lenses.
Ah okay. You are right never played Splinter cell 🤗
Hi guys really funny seeing you react to this i/we have known for years but for you it's your baptism. +1 Keep it up.
😎🤟
Tachanka no longer has his mounted lmg sadly. Now he has an incendiary grenade launcher and his lmg is now not mounted and is just a normal weapon. Jäger is actually pronounced Yay-gr. It means Hunter in German
He is off the team now 😂
9:29 in facty when you enter in french military police GIGN its a welcom things and a trust thing to do to be accepted they really do it it calls in french tir de confiance (trust shoot) and for information sam fisher is splinter celle main character
😎👍
can I ask a dump question: is Sam founder of this operator's group? Cuz the thing I know that he's the first specialist of Tom Clancy's game series, I played the game long time ago
No. He was brought along as a supervisor to Team Rainbow.
No he operates outside of rainbow but within the same universe. In Siege he was brought in after some time as a trainer and advisor to give experience to Team Rainbow.
I am surprised that we have not seen anyone from Ghost Squad yet in game.
Immediatly said "dibs" to the Lord Tachanka. He knows his stuff. :D
😂😁
I just started playing this game, its very cool with the operators. Awesome intro! keep up the great work!
Thanks! 😃🥰🤗
So happy you guys reacted to this!! You need to do the first rainbow six torumejt trialed reaction!!! Sooooo good
Heard that one is great. Lot of hype for it 😃
Haven’t played this game yet. Still waiting for the Smooooooooth Operator.
Lmao 👏
I love their quotes in their bios, Mute’s is my favorite. “People think my name is Mute because I don’t talk. Maybe I just don’t like you.” (Or something close to that)
And u should react to a video where they describe what all of the operators gadgets do
yeah this trailers are cool to watch when you know what they do
Glad they explain what those gadgets do because we had wondered about a couple of them 😊
Nice!! now the rest is the cinematic trailer 😂 the tournament and the playbook i think what its called
😊🥳
It’s funny how they make fun of rook for using the body armor and him taking a bullet when he’s one of the most useful defenders 😭
We’re sure in game he’s a tank and badass. His trailer was just unimpressive compared to others we saw 🤗
Hell yeah. Love that they gave her a Tomb Raider skin 😃
This made me feel incredibly nostalgic. I remember saving up to unlock all of them back in Year 1, watched their trailer after each unlock, hyped that that i got a new operator.
Makes me sad to see how ubi has massacred this great game over the years.
"Fookin laser sights"- you gotta love thatcher😂
Please !! Reaction Rainbow six siege - the Playbook and Rainbow six siege the tournament of champions

Better hope you're not going against her, cause if she interrogates one of your teammates she will know where your team is.
It protecs...
It attacs...
But most importantly...
It deflects
What am i?
A shield
5:51 funny you should say that cuz one of ash's elite skins is actually a tomb raider skin where ash is lara croft!
Love it 😁
8:10 I think its not "jager" only "yeager". There is A umlaut. And he is german(flag).
19:23 it is polish trailer. That hole in the wall has shape of Poland.
And she say: I am the one who decides when to hold back. And when to kill. Only the best dictate the terms.
We missed the umlaut 😂🤗
Stopped playing a while back but my favorite was Lesion, he puts down poisonous spike mines that slow people down and makes a noise to alert you to their position, lets you lurk around corners all day.

Siege veteran here, great video!
Nice! Glad you enjoyed it 😀😎🤟
The same thing is seen in For Honor trailers. They always start with trailers that actually show clear information on what every character does and then each trailer after shows less and less until its not even much of a trailer and more of a teaser that leaves people confused.
😎👍 we enjoyed the for honor character trailers we saw for our draft 😃
Cool concept they should make thatcher disable lights for a few seconds allowing teams to reposition

The SAS.
😎🤟
I’m amazed, so I can feel so attached to these characters yet they barely do anything with them story wise❤ just stuff like this and things they say in game just hits different nine years ago and now and let alone still playing it😂❤
yeah you guys definitely need to watch all R6S cinematic trailers
We plan to 😁

I must’ve been out of my mind when I wrote this comment what did I even mean to say 💀
I stopped playing around when there’s two came in 30:00 because the player base was to toxic for me
Sucks when toxic people ruin a game 😢
Hey! There's a cinematic that's pretty long called tournament of champions and it's one of the best cinematics of gaming in my opinion. It has a majority of the characters and expands on their personalities.
We plan on checking it out 😃
I don't know why but Tachanka's machine gun is basically a rifle with a giant plate for a magazine on it.
