yeah Morag Tong is the dark brotherhood equivalent but only in Morrowind, they dont operate outside morrowind. and wen they r seen by general populas, people just.... disperse
Kat people are the Khajits Lizard people are the Argonians The Elves with the red eyes are called Dark Elves The Big Elves with Magic are High Elves The Elves with bows are Wood Elfs The White humans are Nords The Black humans are Redguards The Small humans are Bretons The Dark Creatures that spread evil are the Deadra There's a lot of lore in this series its just as deep as The Lord of the Rings.
So basic info: the game is set in the 2nd Era (1000 years prior to Skyrim and about 800 years before Morrowind and Oblivion), and the Cyrodiilic Empire has fragmented. The Longhouse Emperors, the last having declared Daedra worship legal, were overthrown by a rebellion organized by Count Varen Aquilarios, who was himself betrayed by one of his companions, the Necromancer Mannimarco. Mannimarco convinced Varen that he could declare himself Dragonborn and take the mantle of Emperor, but when they began the ritual to do so, it was used by Mannimarco instead to initiate what has come to be known as the Planemeld, a Daedric invasion of Nirn by the Lord of Domination: Molag Bal. The provinces surrounding Cyrodiil have splintered into three separate factions: The Daggerfall Covenant, comprised of High Rock, Hammerfell, and the Orcish city-state of Orsinium; the Aldmeri Dominion, made up of the High Elves of the Summerset Isles, the Wood Elves of Valenwood, and the Khajiit of Elsweyr; and the Ebonheart Pact, joining together the Dark Elves of Morrowind, the Nords of Skyrim, and the Argonians of Black Marsh. These three Alliances have initiated a war over the control of the Cyrodiilic province (which is nominally ruled by Clivia Tharn, self-styled Empress) but with no real government, in what is known as the Three-Banners War. As a new player starting the base game, you are sacrificed by cultists to Molag Bal and end up in his Daedric realm of Coldharbour. Lyris Titanborn helps you to escape with The Prophet, and you begin your journey to recover your soul and stop the Planemeld.
voiced by the legendary Jennifer Hale :D They had a LOT of amazing voice talent for this game: Alfred Molina, Peter Stormare, Kate Beckinsale, Michael Gambon, etc. etc.
"The Dark Heart of Skyrim" is a reference to Blackreach, a massive system of caverns beneath Skyrim that spans nearly the entire country. The version we got in TES:V is tiny compared to how it's described in the lore.
In the Greymoor chapter, you travel to Western Skyrim (which is a separate kingdom from Eastern Skyrim in this era), to follow up on reports of disappearances and unrest, to find that an ancient army of vampires has taken up residence underneath the province in the large cavern system called Blackreach. The vampires are using Reachman rituals (Reachmen are barbaric tribes that inhabit Skyrim) to create Harrowstorms, turning entire villages of people into mindless thralls, and it's up to you and the big woman to stop them. She is Lyris Titanborn, a half-giant who has been with you, the player, since the beginning of the game, and a total badass to boot. I mean, she Rock Bottoms a werewolf, how awesome is that? The cocoons are Reliquaries that the vampires are using to resurrect the Gray Host, an ancient army of werewolves that had joined forces with the vampires ages ago
Been a lurker here forever but I must say that you two are such an adorable couple. You two have an obvious love for each other, and your interests! I wish you the very best for 2022! Be blessed!
The dragons in the Elder Scrolls universe are intelligent and can talk. Several featured in the games end up joining the player's side. Same goes for Eorzia and the dragons in the Final Fantasy XIV cinematics, by the way.
The Morrowind trailer: those gray-skinned folks with the red eyes are Dark Elves, the assassin is Naryu Virian (a prominent NPC you meet in the game) and her partner is a member of the class that was introduced in that chapter, the Warden. Wardens have frost magic and can summon animals to aid them. The ruins they're at are of the Dwemer, aka the Dwarves (although technically they're elves, the Dwemer eschewed magic in favor of science and technology, all of their ruins are guarded by constructs like the spiders and the spheres). The Dwemer all disappeared suddenly all at once ages ago, all that is left of them are their underground cities.
I would also like to say, I too very much enjoy these in depth overviews of each trailer! Knowing the lore makes an already brilliant trailer all the more *chef’s kiss* y’know? 🤘🏽 So thank you thank you!
Manimarco, the High Elf Necromancer, Razum-Dar the catguy, Kamira the catgirl and Lyris Titanborn are all in-game NPCs the are part of the main storylines. All of the other characters just represent the player characters. I really like Lyris Titanborn but the Kamira storyline was very very good. I was amazed at all the emotions they managed to show through a "monster" character. It reminds me of the Warcraft cinematics and all the emotions you can feel watching Thall, Saurfang and Zappyboy.
Love your reactions!!! Usually I just watch the reaction videos without the comments at the end, but you guys are so engaged and the comments you make are all really relatable. Can't wait to see more of your reactions. Keep up the good work!
Awww, thanks so much for letting us know! 🥰 Means a lot to us that people enjoy the discussion as most people do just watch the reaction. Which is fine. But nice to know some are chatting with us afterwards ☺️😊
That ranger guy is a breton and the representative of the daggerfall covenant. The high elf was the representative of the aldmeri dominion, and the viking looking dude is a nord who represents the ebonheart pact. In the elyswere arc that is abnar tharn. The one about morrowind that new guy was the introduction on the warden class. The dragon one with the ranger guy that was the introduction of the necromancer class. The tall lady is liris titan born shes a character you assist and vice versa in the base storyline of the Elder Scrolls Online. The guy they battled at the end in the 1st cinematics was a guy named mannimarco who became a follower of Molag Bal who is the main boss in the 1st cinematics him and those dark anchors. The one where we followed the high elf was summerset expansion.
There is a lot of lore in these trailers like the one involving the elf lady involves daedric princes fighting for control of the mortal plane, the dragons one involves a dragon attempting to take control of the world and become a God, and the Dark heart involves an army called the grey host wanting to return to power and then there is blackwood which recently came out which if you enjoy these trailers you should watch the blackwood trailer
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames Yeah it's pretty deep with a whole pantheon of gods (aedra) and basically demons (daedra) and basically the aedra control mundas or the mortal plane of existence and the daedra don't really like that so they keep trying to invade like in Elder Scrolls online alone we've stopped 4 separate daedra invasions up to blackwood so maybe they should stop
@@williamrees4747 It's in their nature to consume until nothing is left. Of course if the thalmor get their way in Elder scrolls 6 these invasions may come a whole lot more often.
Love seeing your vids! you are right that one of the most memorable trailers is the dragon arc and even in the game that story arc is the best out of all the others to play. The wizard who sacrificed himself in the end is Abnur Tharn, he was a no nonsense uptight arrogant and opportunistic wizard kinda like Saruman in LOTR, and both he and the cat lady, who is actually a princess of the city attacked by the dragons, are bitter rivals and hate each other, over the course of the story you play, both learn to set aside differences and eventually Abnur Tharn took the cat princess as his disciple and teach her magic. Abnur Tharn in the end finally sacrificed himself to contain a powerful blast to save them and the city he originally hated, from destruction. It was a bittersweet ending of bad guy wizard turns into good guy savior.
ShoddyCast RUclips's channel made a series of videos that feels like the 'History Channel' but, it's all about the lore of The Elder Scrolls. Very informative and cool. P.S. The also did the same thing for the Fallout universe.
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames definitely true and carries over into the game. each expansion region has its own feel and look with stories and histories that take days to play out and uncover.
I like it because it's fun to try and name all the daedra that are shown. Clavicus Vile, Namera, Malphala, Nocternal, Azura's Star but I don't think you see Azura herself.....Probably someone else that I missed. So cool to see them even in passing or background.
The Elsweyr chapter sees the breaking of an ancient seal in the Khajiit homeland. Imperial Battlemage Abnur Tharn (the old wizard, voiced by Alfred Molina) is seeking to stop his sister Clivia from gaining whatever power is in this hold, but he ends up breaking it by mistake, releasing DRAGONS upon Elsweyr (just like the ones in Skyrim, using Shouts and whatnot). This chapter also sees the inclusion of the Necromancer class, one of the first ever classes where using certain abilities in population centers are a criminal act (the people don't generally like it when you raise skeletons from the grave to serve you). Ingame the dragons are random public events in that zone where they'll land and start destroying everything around them, and they are just as big ingame lol. I tanked one and boy was that harrowing.
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames Yeah all the dialogue in this game, whether it be quests or cutscenes or whatever, is fully voice acted, and for most of the prominent characters they had famous actors in to do their bits. Kate Beckinsale is Queen Ayrenn of the Aldmeri Dominion Peter Stormare plays Jorunn, the Skald-King of the Ebonheart Pact Bill Nighy does the voice for King Emeric of the Daggerfall Covenant Michael Gambon is the voice of The Prophet etc. etc., Bethesda has some resources :D
@@mechanomics2649 Not really, from what I've gathered. These Dragons had been sealed away, and there was nothing in the lore saying that Dragons were exclusive to Skyrim. If anything, it says the opposite, as one of the Dragons in the DLC, Naafalaar, later joins the Empire as a general in one of Tiber Septim's armies. He was first introduced into the franchise as Naffarilargus and you meet him in Hammerfell.
The Elder Scrolls series as a deep lore, that span over 30 years, since the very first game called The Elder Scrolls: Arena, to lately Skyrim (the 5th TES game) and Elders Scrolls Online. While there is 5 games in the main series, there is also a couple of Side games that happens in the TES univers, but are not part of the main series, TES Battlespire, TES Redguard are the two of the top of my head. there was also a portable TES game on a Nokia device in the early 2000's, called Shadowkey iirc, and lately a new Mobile game whom i forgot the name. There's a few novels, comics and table top/board games also. I'd recommend you guys find a "All of TES timeline" kinda video, there is a LOT of events.
I am in love with elder scrolls now because of y’all I’m planning to get it sometime this year and like always y’all are killing it with the reaction peace and love to the best couple ever and reactors
Thanks so much, Goose. You rock! And while we haven’t played these games the Elder Scrolls universe is definitely a ton of fun to play and you can get a lot of hours in 😃😁
If you guys want more vampire and werewolf stuff. I think I’ve mentioned them before, but there’s: Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines 2 (multiple trailers) Vampire the Masquerade: Swansong (Multiple trailers and more to come) Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodhunt Werewolf the Apocalypse: Earthblood Wraith the Oblivion: Afterlife (Ghost VR stuff) Elderscrolls Online also has a few more trailers that came after this compilation.
Actually don’t think we had those in our list yet but we added them this time. Sometimes things slip through. And yes we plan to get to some Gates of Oblivion ☺️
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames The Paradox Interactive RUclips Channel might be the best place to find the Bloodlines 2 trailers neatly organized on a playlist. The rest are easier to find.
The Morrowind Chapter introduced a new Class. Prior to this we only had four classes in the base game: Dragonknight, Sorcerer, Nightblade and Templer, those were the four classes you could choose from. Morrowind introduced a new Class, the Warden. This is actually the guy you see with the bear helping out Naryu (the Dark Elf Assassin), he is a Warden. Elsweyr introduced another new class, the Necromancer, and the Breton Hero we see in the cinematics has become a Necromancer since the little death trip he took previously.
Been waiting for this ever since I discovered your guys’ channel and I’m SO excited to watch your reactions to this! Will be replying for an update lol ❤️
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames I got to watch your video just now and I absolutely loved your guys’ reactions! I always enjoy watching your videos and to get your thoughts on one of my favorite game series and games in general was really fun! I can’t wait to see what the next big trailer reaction is! ❤️❤️❤️
The elf sorceress, the nord warrior and the breton rogue/necromancer represent the player characters. I realized that after seeing that final Elsweyr cinematic after playing the DLC through. This battle actually plays out in game with all those NPCs alongside you, and the breton is the only one missing. Because *we* are *him*.
Just in case no one else explained it. The base premise of the game is the Races are broken up into three Factions. The Nord (viking guy) represents the Ebonheart Pact. The Breton (cloak guy that was undead for a bit) represents the Daggerfall Covenant, and the High Elf (pretty magic Elf) is the Aldmeri Dominion. All three are in a free for all War over the Imperial City so they can control and rule Cyrodiil. It's been years though and the Alliance War for Cyrodiil doesn't matter much anymore. The gold robots are Dwemer constructs. I suppose you don't remember them from your time playing Skyrim.
They looked somewhat familiar but it’s been ages since playing that game. Usually don’t buy games right away but Elder scrolls I did. So it’s been about ten years since playing 🙃
The first few cinematics were from the Base game and those three characters are there to represent each of the 3 big factions fighting for control of the the Continent of Tamriel. The "ranger dude" as you call the guy that later turned into a necromancer is the unnamed "Breton" hero, the "elf chick" is an Altmer, aka High Elf, and the viking guy was a Nord, one of the groups of humans. Bretons are part of the "Daggerfall Covanent" faction, the Nords are part of the "Ebonheart Pact" faction, and the Altmer are the leaders of the "Aldmeri Dominion" faction. The other "focused" characters in the later cinematics are people from the main quest line of the game. The bare chested guy that used the horn to weaken the dragon is named Sai Sahan. The wizard dude that was sort of a mentor to the Cat lady was Abnur Tharn. When he sacrificed himself, I like to think we got to see "the true power of The Tharn." lol The "tall lady" in the vampire cinematic was a half-nord half-giant named Lyris Titanborn, appropriately named if you ask me lol. ESO is one of those games that you should never rush through... giving the player much more enjoyment if they just play and wander the game like any citizen of that world. Exploring and learning the lore of the game by playing it is surprisingly interesting and fun. Fun fact, the voice over at the beginning is from another character you meet with those 3 I named... and he's voiced by Michael Gambon, aka Dumbledore lol. Side note: if you ever played Elder Scroll V: Skyrim, the voice of a vampire companion in that game is the same voice actress that voiced Jaina Proudmore in World Of Warcraft lol.
Have played Skyrim and loved it. Probably top game for me. Also heard The actress that does Jaina is in Legend of Vox Machina which we plan to check out 😀🥳
*Told you it was Epic!👍👍* One of the best CGI Visual Animations ive ever seen.. It looks way better than most Triple AAA Marvel movies... If they made a Netflix Series out of it Id watch the hell out of it..
The Story behind the Breton Hero, the guy with the Cape/Bow/Sword is that after he became undead while fighting the Ebon Heart Pact Leader, the guy that looks like a Viking, he felt no emotions no pain. And after being defeated by the Ebon Heart Pact Leader he held a purple piece of cloth in his hand which most likely belonged to his wife. The Leader of the Ebon Heart Pact obviously like all of the Ebon Heart Pact showed little to no sign of respect and ripped that precious piece of cloth out of his palm and wiped off the blood from his axe and threw it to the side even though the Breton Hero reached out and tried to regain that cloth he was too weak. After that the Elven Sorceress from the Aldermi Dominion showed up which the Breton Hero from the Daggerfall Covenant mistook for his wife since he was hallucinating. The Elven Sorceress in my eyes was able to see his hallucinations and showed him mercy by granting him his final wish. To be freed from his curse and to find peace. As he lends her his sword she casted a spell that he would feel no pain as she would cut his throat. Even reuniting him with his precious piece cloth so he can spend his final moments in peace.
thats not really true. Not every Nord with a big beard is the Skald King. That guy (in fact all 3 of the reacurring characters; the big guy with the beard and axe, the nimble guy who turned to become a necromancer and the elven wizard lady) is not part of any canon lore in the elder scrolls and by no means the leader of the ebonheart pact. these 3 characters are place holders for the player characters, representig the 3 alliances u can choose from when u make ur character. Also the Pact is not the evil faction like u depict it here; they all have good and bad sides. The older cinematics are quite vague and just loosley related to the overall story while the newer ones depict things happening in game very accuratley with one of those 3 characters representing the player.
@@uzrdutiutfiztdf3545 This Battle that is being showcased is the Battle of Cyrodiil, The Battle for the Emperor’s Position. These Characters you see in the Trailer representing all 3 factions are supposed to be seen as the leaders of each individual faction. Wether they are place holders for the main characters (which we as players are) doesn’t really matter in this specific trailer because it was supposed to look like that they are the leaders in that specific trailer. Their intent was to make you feel connected to which ever side you pick when that Trailer came out in 2013. So for example someone liked the viciousness of the Ebonheart Pact Faction or the badassery of the Daggerfall Covenant Faction or the determination of the Aldermi Dominion Faction in this trailer, They chose the faction they liked the most based on how they felt watching this Cinematic. I simply explained the Story of what we just saw from the Trailer, obviously I’m not going into detail who might who be since it could be a spoiler for some. Me adding my opinion on the Ebonheart Pact is pretty much just a personal feud between a Former Emperor of the Daggerfall Covenant hence to why i made this comment.
@@PainLink they are not and were never meant to be the faction leaders. they are just placeholders for the player chars, examples what u can be in eso.
@@uzrdutiutfiztdf3545 What you’re saying at this point is baseless since these Characters being shown in the TRAILER were meant to shine in the light of them being Leaders by the Cinematic Team & the Devs. Wether they’re or aren’t Leaders IN-GAME doesn’t matter. We’re talking about the trailer not IN-GAME Lore or Canon. And as we clearly saw they were leading their Faction into the Battle of Cyrodiil. That’s the whole thematic behind the Cinematic "Choose your Faction".
Fun fact, in the one, the dog with glowing blue eyes and the human figure with the horns, are Clavicus Vile, the Daedric Prince of Wishes, Bargains and Trickery, the dog is Barbas, seen shortly after, i believe the one seen in the distance with the wavy tentacles may be Hermaeus Mora, but im not sure
provinces ranged from first to last: Cyrodiil -> Summerset Isle (home of the elf lady) --> Morrowind --> Elsweyr --> Skyrim (Home of the Nord/Viking he is actually the King). The guy who turns to a Deadric puppet is a Breton if im not mistaken none of the trailers was from his home province.
38:15 Between each of these cinematics you had Weeks if not months of content and story ingame happening. The crux of what i can remember is that when they first released the Dragons from the crypt, there was 3, the Players and characters kills 1, manage to ally the 2nd, and have to hunt down the 3rd one who became Corrupted with necromancy/Deadra magic. The Dragon here, evne tho he as no interest in Helping mortals, he also doesn't like the fact that an Undead Dragon exists, it is an insult to Dragonkind and an abomination, so he decides to help the Players and characters.
Some amazing voice actors in ESO, as well as some great actors such as Kate Beckinsale, Malcolm McDowell, Bill Nighy, Olivia D'Abo (Conan the Destroyer), John Cleese, Lynda Carter, Peter Stormare (Czernobog - American Gods) and of course Jennifer Hale - Commander Shepard.
Love you two and your channel! We also started reacting to Elder Scrolls and honestly have been having a great time. There's so much to the game that I think we can all appreciate and love even if it's not the type of genre you particularly enjoy. Would love to talk about it with you guys sometime :D
I don't know if you know this, but Elder Scrolls Online takes place LONG before Skyrim, in what's known as the Interregnum, when there was no Emperor ruling over Tamriel. The chains coming from the sky were brought on by Molag Bal and the Daedra, and the event of their invasion was called the Planemeld. You play as an adventurer called the Visage, who is apparently able to return to life after being killed, who is tasked with stopping it. That's pretty much the gist of the first campaign/adventure.
i love the tall lady lyris titanborn she has been there from the start in the game, she is one of my favorite charcs, love the vampire storyline. there are more video's that go through the total story's of the trailers you seen here,so with a little searching you can view them.
Not sure if someone mentioned it already, but the three recurring characters are representative of the game's three playable factions and by extension represent the player's character. The Nord viking, the High Elf mage and the Breton ranger/necromancer.
25:15 Clearly got a reputation. You have no idea, Naryu Virian, she's known as The Beautiful Darkness to few because very few survive a visit from her. She's a Morag Tong Assassin, Morag Tong is an Organization of Assassins that have existed well over 3000 years by the time Skyrim happens, those that know of the Morag Tong know to flee on sight of any of their agents. Especially Naryu who's the best, no joke, she's one of the greatest and no jest.
Dark souls cinematic trailers are also good. Recommend watching those. From software games can be difficult but how you take the setbacks is how I define the games as rewarding to complete. Nice reaction. I don't know how many hours I invested into Skyrim :)
The Lizard people are called Argonians and they are my favorite race. In lore they kick immense ass. So much that when hell canonically invaded they were so good at fighting it back they counter invaded and scared hell into closing their portals. Elder Scrolls online however is a prequal to all the other games so it takes place when they were still being enslaved by Dark Elves. So this awesome race that has done so many amazing things are essentially just jobbers and henchmen in this game.
9:29 that is a Dremora specifically a Dremora from Coldharbour(the realm of Molag Bal the Deadric lord of domination/damnation) there are a bunch of Daedric lords I can list them off right now Azura - A goddess who maintains/draws power from the balance of night and day, light and dark. Boethiah - The goddess of deceit, secrecy, conspiracy, treason, and unlawful overthrow of authority. Clavicus Vile - The god of deals, pacts, power, bargains, and serenity through wish fulfillment. Hermaeus Mora - The formless god of knowledge and memory, seeks to possess all that is knowable. Hircine - The god of the hunt, sport, the Great Game, and the Chase. Jyggalag - The god of logical order and deduction, upholds strict order above all else. Malacath - The god whose sphere is the patronage of the spurned and ostracized. Mehrunes Dagon - The god of destruction, violent upheaval, energy, and mortal ambition. Mephala - The goddess of unknown plots and obfuscation, a master manipulator, a sower of discord. Meridia - The goddess of the energies of all living things, enemy of the undead and all who disrupt the flow of life. Molag Bal - The god of domination and spiritual enslavement, seeks to ensnare souls within his domain. Namira - The goddess of the "ancient darkness," the patron of all things considered repulsive. Nocturnal - The goddess of the night and darkness, the patron of all things secretive. Peryite - The Taskmaster, the god of Pestilence, desires order in his domain. Sanguine - The god of hedonism, debauchery, and the further indulgences of one's darker nature. Sheogorath - The infamous god of Madness, whose motives are unknowable. Vaermina - The goddess of dreams and nightmares, a deliverer of evil omens and dark portents. there is also Sithis the god of death but it's unclear as to whether or not he is actually a daedra each Daedric lord has artifacts associated with them like Clavicus viles "Umbra"(the living sword that was somehow involved in the creation of a place known as blackmarsh) and their own realm like Hermaeus Moras realm Apocrypha an infinite library that contains every book ever written... it's also crawling with eldritch horrors has lakes of tentacles and apparantly Hermaeus Mora got bored and decided to start building things out of books at some point... if you want to know more about a specific Daedric lord... also specify what you want to know the comment would be way too long to read if I were to put down every single detail about that specifc Daedric lord
the hooded guy in the first few trailers had a deadric artifact im guessing (an evil weapon from devil like creatures) and it was slowly corrupting him so the woman who took the sword was giving him mercy. thats just a guess tho
I always sympathize with the big nord guy in these trailers. Poor guy just takes a beating and is always fighting the toughest stuff. Just look at that one fight with the undead Breton guy, got hit by 2 arrows, stabbed in the gut, stabbed in the wrist, slashed a whole bunch of times, etc. No idea how he was even still alive and the poor fool just charges into another fight. Absolute mad lad.
Lmao @ cheese wheels 😂 And good point about just getting abused but still fighting on. That’s what Warriors do. Tough to kill. But I always wanted to unlock stuff and if I remember correctly you had to be a Rogue to join Assassins guild in Oblivion/Skyrim 🤔 or I could be mixing up my games/franchises
List of monsters there Lycanthropes The rat goblins are actually called Scamps The giant monster that has the scamps on them is called a flesh antronoch Lastly that thing from the sky is called a Dark anchor or dolemon
The Ebonheart Hero reminds me of the Viking Raider from For Honor. Speaking of which, I'd like to see you two react to the Viking Executions of For Honor. 😜

There's a few prominent dragons thats exited the ruin. The green dragon (Kaalgrontiid) a blue dragon (Mulaamnir) and a gold one (don't know the name) The red dragon (Nahfahlaar) wasn't part of the dragons who where trapped.
As someone who playes eso and has a character that is very high level and no where near max level its more then you think. Edit: you also have different races (high elf, dark elf, wood elf, breton , nord, khajiit, orc , imperial, redguard and argonian) and each race is better with different abilities for example a Nord might be a better tank then a high elf and if you would want to be a vampire a dark elf would be good because they have fire resistance. You also have dragonknights nightblades sorcerers wardens and necromancers. Plus tamriel clockwork city and coldharbor. Inside tamriel you have 3 factions(aldmari dominion daggerfall covenant and ebenhart pact) and even more areas like greenshade and vvardenfell inside of the 3 factions. Not only that you can choose to be magic or stamina. There was a warden in the trailer. The guy with the bear was a warden. He uses nature to fight like poisonous plants and bears. Necromancers use the dead to fight. A nightblade is very sly and fast. And a sorc uses magic
When the Magic Lady killed the Undead Guy while he was holding his blue piece of cloth. That's small part of that video has many meanings ! She saved him by killing him, cus he was imprisoned being an undead lord. That blue cloth is a piece of his beloved woman's 👗. As well, she looks at her chains on her hand, she understands by that that no one shoul be imprisoned in such horrors as undead, even tho it is technically your enemy so she saved him by killing him !

"The Dark Heart of Skyrim" is a reference to Blackreach, a massive system of caverns beneath Skyrim that spans nearly the entire country. The version we got in TES:V is tiny compared to how it's described in the lore.
😯🤯 Also nice Avatar! Fester 😃
Rock bottoms a werewolf 😂 Yes, that is awesome and she is a bad ass 🤟😎🤟
Been a lurker here forever but I must say that you two are such an adorable couple. You two have an obvious love for each other, and your interests! I wish you the very best for 2022! Be blessed!

The dragons in the Elder Scrolls universe are intelligent and can talk. Several featured in the games end up joining the player's side. Same goes for Eorzia and the dragons in the Final Fantasy XIV cinematics, by the way.
😎👍😃
Thanks for the info on that one. Love all the knowledge your sharing with us so we can understand it better 😃
I would also like to say, I too very much enjoy these in depth overviews of each trailer! Knowing the lore makes an already brilliant trailer all the more *chef’s kiss* y’know? 🤘🏽
So thank you thank you!
It’s quite a fascinating world and the stories we’ve seen from playing Skyrim And Oblivion had us hooked for hours on end 🤩
Khamira is a total badass. Love her
I’m late to this but Abnur Tharn(the old wizard guy) is also an in game npc
@@Chekibreki Ah yes indeed. And he is voiced by Alfred Molina. He's an interesing character

Thanks for the quick breakdown of some of the characters and story 😃
I cant stop watching your vids it's like the best content better then evey ones in the world
Aww. 🥰😊 Thanks a lot. We appreciate it 😇
There is a lot of lore in these trailers like the one involving the elf lady involves daedric princes fighting for control of the mortal plane, the dragons one involves a dragon attempting to take control of the world and become a God, and the Dark heart involves an army called the grey host wanting to return to power and then there is blackwood which recently came out which if you enjoy these trailers you should watch the blackwood trailer
Oh nice. Dragon god 😮🤯😃
What a treat love to see the longer videos from you guys, keep it up💯
🥳🥳🥳🍾🍾
🥲 thanks for telling us that story! 😃🙏
ShoddyCast RUclips's channel made a series of videos that feels like the 'History Channel' but, it's all about the lore of The Elder Scrolls. Very informative and cool.

😃 such fun trailers all around. Each expansion or game or whatever had its own feel for the trailers which was nice. ☺️
Love you two! You guys do awesome reactions. 😁

Alfred Molina voiced a character?! How cool. 😃😎🐉
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames Yeah all the dialogue in this game, whether it be quests or cutscenes or whatever, is fully voice acted, and for most of the prominent characters they had famous actors in to do their bits.
Kate Beckinsale is Queen Ayrenn of the Aldmeri Dominion
Peter Stormare plays Jorunn, the Skald-King of the Ebonheart Pact
Bill Nighy does the voice for King Emeric of the Daggerfall Covenant
Michael Gambon is the voice of The Prophet
etc. etc., Bethesda has some resources :D
Evidently ESO took a massive dump on Dragons if this is the case.

If you guys want more vampire and werewolf stuff. I think I’ve mentioned them before, but there’s:
Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines 2 (multiple trailers)
Vampire the Masquerade: Swansong (Multiple trailers and more to come)
Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodhunt
Werewolf the Apocalypse: Earthblood
Wraith the Oblivion: Afterlife (Ghost VR stuff)
Elderscrolls Online also has a few more trailers that came after this compilation.
Vampire the masquerade is such an underrated game, it deserves better.
Thanks for letting us know that 😀

The elf sorceress, the nord warrior and the breton rogue/necromancer represent the player characters. I realized that after seeing that final Elsweyr cinematic after playing the DLC through. This battle actually plays out in game with all those NPCs alongside you, and the breton is the only one missing. Because *we* are *him*.
😎👍😀
"Why didn't he just do that the first go around"
He's a elf, they love being extra
Best one yet i really like ur vids keep up the good work❤❤

Man I like these guys they have some genuine reactions
Thanks! 😃🥰🤗

What about a live action series on HBO 😮🤩😍
Thanks for filling in the details some more from us. And yes it seemed like the Elf was showing mercy at that moment and we appreciated that 🥲
thats not really true.
I love how the Dragonborn is just taking on the biggest guy on the battlefield while the 2 Elfs are having problems with the other enemies

There's so much to the game that I think we can all appreciate and love even if it's not the type of genre you particularly enjoy. Would love to talk about it with you guys sometime :D
Have you been doing online stuff or the previous games. Skyrim and Oblivion hooked us 🤩
I don't know if you know this, but Elder Scrolls Online takes place LONG before Skyrim, in what's known as the Interregnum, when there was no Emperor ruling over Tamriel.
We didn’t know that it took place before Skyrim. Appreciate you helping us out with the timeline, Molten 🙂

I honestly felt like I lost half a day sometimes playing that game 😂 Didn’t regret one hour playing it though 😁
Should do Halloween kills trailer 🐐🐐 great vid btww 😬😬

9:29 that is a Dremora specifically a Dremora from Coldharbour(the realm of Molag Bal the Deadric lord of domination/damnation) there are a bunch of Daedric lords I can list them off right now
Azura - A goddess who maintains/draws power from the balance of night and day, light and dark.
Vaermina - The goddess of dreams and nightmares, a deliverer of evil omens and dark portents.
there is also Sithis the god of death but it's unclear as to whether or not he is actually a daedra
each Daedric lord has artifacts associated with them like Clavicus viles "Umbra"(the living sword that was somehow involved in the creation of a place known as blackmarsh) and their own realm like Hermaeus Moras realm Apocrypha an infinite library that contains every book ever written... it's also crawling with eldritch horrors has lakes of tentacles and apparantly Hermaeus Mora got bored and decided to start building things out of books at some point...
if you want to know more about a specific Daedric lord... also specify what you want to know the comment would be way too long to read if I were to put down every single detail about that specifc Daedric lord
Thanks for explaining those better to us! Meridia is one we were drawn to most at first but it would be fun for us to look into all of them 😯😀

Apparently the Nord warrior was sent to Coldharbour when he charged against Mannimarco, never realized that until recently someone mentioned it.
the hooded guy in the first few trailers had a deadric artifact im guessing (an evil weapon from devil like creatures) and it was slowly corrupting him so the woman who took the sword was giving him mercy. thats just a guess tho
That makes sense 🙂

I always sympathize with the big nord guy in these trailers. Poor guy just takes a beating and is always fighting the toughest stuff.
Just look at that one fight with the undead Breton guy, got hit by 2 arrows, stabbed in the gut, stabbed in the wrist, slashed a whole bunch of times, etc. No idea how he was even still alive and the poor fool just charges into another fight.
Absolute mad lad.
He's got lots of cheese wheels on his inventory
@@kohakunushi3028 new head canon is his collection of cheese wheels and sweet rolls absorbed the blows and nothing can change my mind.
So when do the videos on ESO character creation and initial gameplay begin?
Not sure hopefully someone well versed will answer your question 😊
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames i meant from you guys...or is there some hidden puppetmaster that decides what you play? LOL
List of monsters there
Lycanthropes
The rat goblins are actually called Scamps
The giant monster that has the scamps on them is called a flesh antronoch
Lastly that thing from the sky is called a Dark anchor or dolemon
Thanks for the list 😀
The Ebonheart Hero reminds me of the Viking Raider from For Honor. Speaking of which, I'd like to see you two react to the Viking Executions of For Honor. 😜
Nice segway there 😁😜🤗
Elder Scrolls Online is one of my favourite games, I have way too many hours in it, but not as much as Destiny XD
Would kinda like to see how you'd find the Destiny 1 and 2 cinematics or trailers
Really loved your reactions to this ❤
Destiny franchise is in our list to check out at some point 😊
There's a few prominent dragons thats exited the ruin.
The green dragon (Kaalgrontiid)
a blue dragon (Mulaamnir) and a gold one (don't know the name)
The red dragon (Nahfahlaar) wasn't part of the dragons who where trapped.
Ah okay. Thanks for helping with that 😃
Im 60 years old , playing Skyrim still on my older 10 year old computer system .. with the same character
The game is amazing, the trailers are an awesome addition, there is also a trailer for Blackwood (the latest expansion), well worth checking it out!
Yeah we do plan on checking those out at some point ☺️
I don't see the High Isle cinimatic here, so not sure if there's more or not.
Awesome ❤️👍
😎🥳
since you’re reacting to wow already, i highly recommend “alliance broken shore” and “a found memento raising a king.” Thank you
We will check to make sure it’s on our WoW list 😎
Thanks for explaining it a bit more for us 😃
When the Magic Lady killed the Undead Guy while he was holding his blue piece of cloth.
Edit: she as well casts on him some kind of a cleanse spell to take aways his pain !
And you can see for few seconds he kinda sees a woman in blue 👗 and after it changes back to that Magic Lady. That woman in blue 👗 was his loved one !
Wow thanks so much for sharing that with us. A lot was going on in that small scene 🥲😊😃
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames glad to help 😊
"in his defense, he has seen sum stuff" LOL
😂🙃🤗
Would love to see a reaction to all of the SoulsBourne games cinematics!
We have a bunch on our list Fromsofware games 😎
I just saw this can anyone tell me if the Viking dude died at the end vs the elf
Hopefully someone can answer this for you
the 3 characters who appear multiple times will never truely die in the cinematics because they represent the player
there are a few more out trailers that are not shown here
It’s mainly the Gates of Oblivion stuff that’s been out or is there more than that now? 🤔🙂
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGamesyes Gates of Oblivion the new trailer is Legacy of the bretons that one came out a few days ago
I like when the old guy saved the cat :( and the last one with two vikings
Good choices 😃☺️
