I’m a new subscriber. So glad to find your channel.
These all look great. Can’t wait to try them. I think I’ll buy the ingredients at a bulk food store or buy the pouches because the little bottles are expensive
Great idea to buy the ingredients in bulk. Much less expensive than buying the little bottles. That is what I do also. Thank you for your comment.
I'm going to make these up,thanks for sharing ❤
This is great! I saved the video, because I will for sure be trying these. I've actually been wanting to make my own seasoned salt, so I'm especially looking forward to making that. Thank you!🙂
Enjoy!
Great recipe

I have started saving videos about mixes so later or Tomorrow I’m going to make a few for comparison. If these are better then I definitely a keeper on this end.
Have fun with your comparisons! Great idea.
Thank you, I've been looking for homemade seasoning mixes & I'm excited to try your taco seasoning mix!
Thank you dear heart for sharing your recipes with us all 🤗🙆♀️🥰❣
Hi Robyn, I have been making the taco seasoning for years, it is really good. Sometimes I add it to refried beans also, just the right blend of spices. Enjoy!

Thank you. Adding it to refried beans sounds good too❣🙆♀️
That is a cute apron, can I ask where you purchased it. I teach cooking classes to high school students and they'd get a kick out of it.
Hi from South Africa have u a recipe for Ranch seasoning we don’t get it in SA Tku
There’s no minced onion in the Old El Paso package, it would be onion powder bc I can’t eat minced onions. However there is minced onion in the Sloppy Joe Package mix though bc I sift it out when using it.
It’s nice when you make your own that you can customize for this exact type of circumstance! All your mixes can be minced onion free!
You will really benefit from making your own mixes! You can personalize them to your preferences. That is what I love about making my own. I don't care for foods that are really spicy so I can cut the amount of cayenne that recipes call for, but people that like really spicy foods can add more cayenne. I appreciate your comment!
You said you left the cumin out of the recipe. How much should I add as we like cumin. Thank you for the mix recipes I really appreciate it
Sorry, I meant to say cayenne pepper. The original recipe calls for 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper. I leave it out because it is too spicy for me. If you also wanted to add cumin, I would start with 1/4 tsp and go from there. Sorry for the confusion.
Haha! I came here to ask the same thing.
Great mixes, thanks. I may have missed it, but three quarters cup of water to how much taco mix to the ground beef?
To use the Taco Seasoning Mix, add 1/3 cup of the dry mix to the ground beef. You will love this, so easy to make a great to have on hand. Thank you for watching!
@@angelabassett1562 Many thanks!!
Could you substitute masa harina for the wheat flour?
Hi Carla, I'm not sure if you can replace the flour 1:1 with masa harina. You may need a 1:2 ratio, for each tablespoon of wheat flour you may need to add 2 tablespoons of masa harina. Let me know if this works for you. Thanks for watching!
How much cumin does the recipe call for for the taco seasoning? You said u leave it out, but how much did the original recipe, call for?
Sorry, I meant to say cayenne pepper. The original recipe calls for 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper. I leave it out because it is too spicy for me. If you also wanted to add cumin, I would start with 1/4 tsp and go from there. Sorry for the confusion.
What is the shelf life of these recipes if you do make it in quantity vs a single use version? Also what if you are apposed to using bouillons? They are way too high in sodium in my personal opinion. Anything more natural you can think of?
As long as you keep the mixes dry they should be good for 6 months or so. They may lose their flavor/potency after that. I agree that so many of the bouillons are high in sodium, maybe you can find one that is low-sodium? I am going to be making my own bone broth and then freeze drying it to make bouillon. Thank you for your questions!
Or don't label them and make every meal an adventure!😎😎
When we were younger we sneak into our friends house and remove the labels from the cans. 😁😁 Of course we got paid back.
LOL. You sound like my kind of prankster. I may have done this a time or two myself.
