Happy Friday Everyone! Just wanted to answer some of the most common questions I'm getting... 1. Can this be used on the: face, hands, neck, bikini area, chest, arms? Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes & yes! My experience is that the skin on different areas is thinner/thicker/more or less sensitive so keep that in mind when treating these other areas and start with the gentle setting if in doubt. 2. Is hair removal/spot removal permanent? Some will be and some won't... on hair the darker the hair the more effectively this will "kill" the follicle with consistent use. Some follicles will become damaged but still grow hair that will likely be thinner than before. After the 1st 12 weeks some monthly maintenance may be required. Age spots will be removed or reduced depending on the spot. If you don't protect your skin from the sun the spots will come back. Again, some maintenance may be required. 3. Will this work on skin with spots but with blonde/grey hair? Yes, the device will target the spots. I used it on my thighs where I don't shave & have vellus (fine blonde) hair. It removed the spots I treated there. 4. Do you shave to use this on hair or should it be grown out? You shave prior to using IPL devices. 5. How many times a week do I use the device? The instructions are to use the device once a week for 12 consecutive weeks for best results. Different hair follicles will be in different stages of the growth cycle each week. Some will be growing, some will be shedding, and some will be dormant. With this cycle only some follicles will have a visible (to the device) hair in the follicle during each treatment. So doing a weekly treatment for 12 weeks you should be able to get all of the follicles during the growth phase. 6. Can this be used/will it work on broken capillaries or is there an at-home device for that? No, this won't work on broken capillaries or veins. Even most in-office lasers don't remove broken capillaries. There are 2 in-office lasers that really do a good job (V-beam & pulsed dye lasers) and I doubt there'll be a home device coming any time soon... Hope that helps!

Thanks Angie for doing such a thorough review once again. I'm 50 and I've had great results getting age spots removed very simply by my GP and dermatologist where they 'burn' it off (I think it may be liquid nitrogen) during a consult. Takes only a few seconds and they scab over and then are completely gone when scab falls off! I've had a couple off my face and quite a few off hands (now clear of age spots) and arms. Just letting others out there know of this fast and cheap option also :)

Hey Ang. So I bought the Kenzi and I’m ok with it. It works. But how do the nuts and bolts of the Kenzi stack up to this laser. I know it has skin tone sensor and fast pulsing but is it actually stronger than the Kenzi? Ie. more effective in breaking down age spots and or fading them? Hair removal seemed faster you said but is it worth it to purchase another device? Help. My husband is currently doing excessive eye rolling at me for wanting yet another device. Which btw makes no difference in my purchase options cause I eye roll over the 4 horses, 3 Harley Davidson bikes, 1 Harley Drag bike, 1 refurbished classic car and 2 ATVs (I mean he only has one derrière so a bit excessive I would say)
I would like to know the full comparison as well, as I also have the Kenzi, specifically in regards to age/dark spots. Also, comparison of specs. Thanks!
@@menarobertson84 Exactly. Kind of annoying since she sold so many Kenzzi and then never spoke of them again, and now a new one for us to buy🥴. The Kenzzi also has a new version that looks and sounds just like this one. Would like that added into the comparison equation also.
The body lotion you mentioned…alpha renewal is absolutely the bomb! I am 62 and my skin is sooooo amazing now. I use it everyday twice a day. The best!!!!!
What exactly did you use? I have these ugly spots that don't really look like brown age spots on my lower legs and I hate them. Along with a ugly scar on one and acne scars on my face.

But I am curious because the lotion as well as the body wash has glycolic aha in it should I stop using during the summer months? Would love some feedback. Thanks
I personally love Braun’s IPL device, which is also FDA approved. It truly reduced my hair growth significantly. I just want to warn anyone who goes in the sun that these devices leave your skin very sensitive. I live in the tropics and started noticing white spots (loss of pigment) on my legs from what I assume to be sun exposure post treatment. It has been months since I used my IPL device on my legs but continue to notice my legs are still sensitive to the sun and white spots appear from time to time.
I’m in my early 50’s and got these white spots a couple of years ago after going into the sun with no protection. It’s like de-pigmented skin. They haven’t gone away.
Are you still using this and if so have you noticed anymore of a difference with age spots and knees wrinkles? I've learned so much from you fyi! Thank you so so much! ❤
Hi Angie! Can it be used on your face for age spots? And how long is each treatment? Did you get any scabbing like you would a professional IPL session?
Has anyone used this on their upper lip for hair and wrinkles? Angie you are the best reviewer and so incredibly thorough and honest. Thank you for your help!
I have two questions. 1) when you use the Alpha glycolic body lotion are you able to use self tanner? Seems counterproductive. 2) If I am more concerned with age spots on my legs could I use my Omnylux one my legs? I know it would take a ton of time but I am curious. Thank you for all your time and research!
Wow! Such a difference! Thank you for the video! I wonder if this device can be used for broken capillaries/spider vains on the face? Is it safe, and will it work? It would be great to use an at home device also for that, and not having to get the IPL treatment professionally.

Thanks Angie. I just ordered this, I’ve been on the fence about which one to get for some time. I love the dual results from this one. Take care and thanks for your hard work figuring these devices out for us.
I have darker skin with sun spots on my face . Light/heat can cause rebound hyperpigmentation , so I pass on any light /heat devices and focus use of topicals on my face .
I've been wavering on this device for awhile because I'm not great at committing to constant use, but your results convinced me it is worth trying - thanks for the discount!
Gotta say I’ve been using your body lotion after I saw a video of you recommending it. Unbelievable results. My legs looked like alligator skin. I thought there was no help for them. I was wrong and my skin all over is so incredibly soft now. I wish I had done before and after pics. My boyfriend constantly tells me how soft my skin is. Not bad for a 64 year old…I can’t thank you enough for recommending that lotion. Guess I’ll be trying thing! Fingers crossed for getting rid of age spots and maybe some hair!
Hi Angie, I appreciate the hard work you put into your channel 💕 I too am curious how often you used the device and if you need to keep using it periodically to maintain the results. Thank you.
No comments on hair removal, I only have to tweeze a few hairs on my legs anymore, they’re so fine and blonde. I just wanted to say that color on you is exquisite! Just gorgeous 🙌🌻
I had really good results with the Kenzi for both hair and skin and feel like it changed my life. But....it is time consuming and I would break up sessions, i.e. upper leg on Tuesday, lower leg on Thursday. I love that my legs looks so much smoother and less of that "plucked chicken" texture. When I have the $$, I might try this device, because it seems to have more features, and again...time is a factor. Thank you for recommending this. (You wouldn't believe how often I find myself quoting "Angie from Hot and Flashy".)
I've used my new SmoothSkin Pure twice so far. I finally ordered it, and an Omnilux mask, after watching your earlier reviews (and catching a really good sale). I'm even more excited now to see what results I get 🥳🤞 Thanks, Angie!
Hi Angie, Love this information as I’ve struggled with spots on my hands for decades. My question: If one can only purchase one device for age spots, would you recommend the Omnilux mitt or this recent hand held device? Many thanks for all you do!
Would 1 ipl device help me with age spots, broken capillaries and facial rejuvenation? or would I be better off buying another one for that. If so, which one and what color flash of light. If anyone can help me with this, I would love to hear from you. I live in Europe. Laser treatments for small veins are very expensive, I already had three at the dermatologist's office but they are not completely gone. So I wondered if I could maintain it at home with such a kind of device. Tips are very welcome....🙂 🙏
@@carole7473 I use their 'neck and dec' on my hands also. Use it every other day. The skin on my hands seems a bit better but I will be getting schlerotherapy to remove some of the veins on my hands, too. One hand at first to see how it looks. Pricey at $1350 plus cost of gloves worn two weeks afterward. Fingers crossed!
Oh my goodness I was literally thinking earlier today that I wished that you would do an updated IPL device video and/or that I might DM you about whether you were still using the Kenzi. I’ve been in the hospital for the last few days and came home this evening and realized that in just three short days I had practically grown a beard. I almost bought the Kenzie back when you first reviewed it but due to losing my job and a few other things going on in my life I never got around to it. I wish I would’ve seen this a couple of weeks ago to get the discount but I just moved from Georgia to Florida and have been a little busy the last three weeks so I am just now getting caught up on your videos. It’s OK because they still offer a discount for 20% off to new subscribers to their newsletter, but this is a good example of why I can’t miss any of your videos the day that they’re released in the future! I am double checking that the bell icon is clicked now! :) I follow a lot of RUclips creators who do lifestyle and beauty reviews but I can honestly say that I trust you more than anyone else who does reviews on RUclips because you are so thorough and show great before and after pics. Thanks for all of the great info and content, Angie! 🌸
Angie, are you still using this device for your age spots? The video is 2 years old and I was wondering if, since this time, have you continued to treat your knee wrinkles and age spots with any at home devices?
At-home IPL is much less powerful than in-office IPL so it does have the snap but it's not as intense. Since the SmoothSkin Pure adjusts the intensity I found it very comfortable to use!
So… I have a question. I have VERY light hair and fair skin. Not really interested in the hair removal aspect. But, could I still use this for spots and knee wrinkles? That would be so great! By the way, as always a very interesting video.
I love learning about these things, but MAN... I'd go broke if I bought every new item. I bought the Kenzzi - my hair was too light so didn't really work for me, didn't notice a difference on dark spots either but also wasn't super focused on them. Will try the Kenzzi on just my dark spots to see if it has any value here before donating. Really looking for the Morpheus8 video!
@@AngieHotandFlashy this is the first time I’ve ever left a Kenzzi related comment on any of your videos. It is mentioned, that’s why I did. Seems a lot of us feel scammed by Kennzi, by the replies I’m getting.
I'm so sad you didn't find this out before you bought it. I saw a lot of reviews the same as your experience and the comments here back when she made the first video.
I had IPL yesterday for the first time for some spots. It was very expensive. Does this give the same power as the machines in the office? Enjoy all your videos and learn so much.
Thank you for your review! I also have wrinkled knees 😢 I have been looking for something that would work. Also, the hair on my legs grows so fast. Will definitely give this a try. Thanks for the code!
Hello there, I just purchased this IPL device and was wondering if I should use special glasses while using it. The booklet in the boxe don't say anything and I don't think the video mentioned it. I just want to be safe, thank you.
Thank you, Angie. I have had Kenzzi on my long-term wishlist. Glad I didn’t go there. I appreciate your thoroughness and time spent researching along with your before and after pics! You are amazing!
Hey Angie, I tried the promo code and it did not work for the Smooth Skin Pure device. Is there another you can share. I tried the Amazon link too and the price was 379 not 299. Thank you!
Hi Angie, Thanks so much for this video review and discount code. I decided to buy it as I recently started getting IPL treatment for my extreme dry eye. It has helped tremendously due to the inflammation in your cheeks. Treatments are $500 each so this will save me money and help me with my aging skin as well.
Interesting video! I started using the Alpha 10% body lotion several years ago after you mentioned it and have found nothing better, though I tried a couple of others, Alpha works really well for me, BUT! consistency is the key. Luckily it's made a real difference since budget says No Devices!
Wow the new Kenzzi is so much faster to use. I have the old model and I haven't had to use it for about three months now. Whatever leg hair I have is so much finer and really reduced. Your videos are my favorites and have been so helpful!
Great review, I bought this one for Christmas and find it awkward to hold and press the button - any tips? the reports are really good for this one as to lots more flashes per minute 100+ vs 40? (see their video) and works on face and body so worth a bit extra.
Thank you so much for this review and coupon code! Do you know if you need to get separate eye protection glasses when purchasing it? I didn't see eye protection for sale from the company, but maybe I missed it.
Thank you for the update! Do you happen to know how many joules the Kenzzi device uses? Just curious how it compares in that way to the SmoothSkin options.
So I’ve just been looking at similar devices for sale in the UK. Every single one states Do NOT use on skin that has moles, freckles or ‘beauty marks’. It also states it’s contraindicated for skin cancer- so I’m guessing you have to have a Dr check age spots etc to make sure they are not suspicious before using IPL.
I bought the Kenzzi from your past video about age spots on your legs. I did it the full 12 weeks and nothing changed. :( So I doubt I'll buy another one of these. I may give the Kenzzi another try, but I think it's likely best to do this at a med spa instead.
Thank you for the review! I love how thorough you are. I don't know if anyone had a problem, but I ordered through the link and added your discount code. They didn't apply it and charged me the full amount😭 They're phone lines are "closed". They suggest the "online chat service" as well, but there's no link (even when searched for). I emailed them, but I fear they won't receive it until after they send the order and then I'll have to go through the whole refund process (because of the hassle, waste of time and anxiety this is causing, I don't want it from them at all). I suggest ordering from Amazon to anyone who happens to read this.
I have been using the Kenzzi but not consistently. Not for hair removal, because mine in mostly blonde, but age spots on neck, face and hands. The spots have faded a bit. I was thinking of just buying hydroquinone and applying to spots with a Qtip or brush instead.
Ordered!! I had been looking at the Faustina 3-in-1. So glad I saw this review before I ordered it. I will share this with my daughter. 😊 We love your videos Angie! Thank you for all the time and effort you put into your honest reviews!! So helpful!
I purchased this product a few weeks ago!!!! I've been a bit nervous about starting use. I had no idea about the antiaging effects, got it for hair reduction. Thank you SO much Angie, you have relieved my fears.
Thank you for all you share with us! I started using the alpha lotion and it changed my skin after only using it a few times!! You mentioned you only use it two or three times a week, just wondering why you don’t use it every day? Also with summer coming, what are your thoughts on using it if I know I will be out in the sun. I’ve gotten really good with wearing sunscreen but just wondering what you do since I know you are outside gardening in the summer.
I used the Kenzi and I am very pleased with the results! Underarm hair almost completely gone! Most of the darker hair on my legs is gone! I’ve even used it on my upper lip (off label).
Angie, I was one of your subscribers that purchased the Kenzzi IPL device a few years ago. I have not had any of the issues mentioned but was skeptical and it sat unused for over a year. I finally started using is sparingly more for the age spots and discoloration than hair removal. I am just now starting to be more consistent in my use and slowly I am seeing results and thus far have had no issues. I have had several failed experiences with IPL in a derm's office and have scars to prove it so I am super cautious. It appears that Kenzzi has changed its IPL device and I am wondering if you have had any experience with their new model? I hate to keep chasing new gadget's if the old ones are still working but these devices do not last forever so I wonder how this Smooth Skin Pure compares against the new model from Kenzzi? Sorry for rambling but would appreciate any feedback.
This is an amazing deal. Thank you so much for this video and for the incredible discount code. I just bought it and hope for good results. I have the Tria laser, which cost about $500 years ago. It was a good device, but ran out of battery before I could get one whole leg done, and I had to lift and reposition every time. While it significantly reduced the hair, I really wanted something that glides over the skin and works faster. Thank you, Angie, for your wonderful videos and ability to pass on savings to your viewers.
YES! CurrentBody really came through with a whopper of a discount on this one! I looked at so many other devices before choosing this one and I thought the Tria looked good but like more of a spot treatment... Thanks for sharing your experience with it!
I love this video, and I did purchase the smooth skin pure device… I’ve had it since January and just haven’t taken the time to use it. However this really motivated me and I started using it and I’m excited to see the results!

I just bought the omnibus mask for my birthday present to myself. Now I want this too! I love skin tools!
Me too! Latest and greatest gadget girls!
No comments on hair removal, I only have to tweeze a few hairs on my legs anymore, they’re so fine and blonde. I just wanted to say that color on you is exquisite! Just gorgeous 🙌🌻
I bought the Monsia Silk Series Pro for hair removal and did not know it also worked for dark spots, and yes it does, so nice added benefit.
Would you recommend this over the OmniLux mask? Love your channel!
I bought the Kenzii and love it… still working well on hair and age spot reduction.
I bought the Kenzi, too, but I haven’t been consistent. 🤦♀️ This gives me hope to try again!
Can you use this on your whole face for skin rejuvenation??
I've used my new SmoothSkin Pure twice so far. I finally ordered it, and an Omnilux mask, after watching your earlier reviews (and catching a really good sale). I'm even more excited now to see what results I get 🥳🤞 Thanks, Angie!
THank you Angie!!!! Can you use this on your face for age spot removal?…thanks,
Hi Angie,
Love this information as I’ve struggled with spots on my hands for decades.
I really love the results. How often do you have to use it for 12 traitments? Once a week, once every two weeks? Just for info. Thank you.
You should try the Omnilux hand mask. I believe they also have a Mother's Day sale going on. Or get the neck and decollete and lay it on your hands.
Once a week.
I have been dying to know how to treat spots on my legs! Thank you.
I am so confused. You did a review on the Kenzie device before this. Does this mean that the hair with the Kenzie device grew back?
Hi Angie! Thank you for all the great skin, beauty, and fashion tips! Always amazing and very detailed information!
Thank you Shannon! Happy Friday! 💕
Thank you for the cupon code. It worked. Can't wait to start using the product.
thank you Angie for another great video❤ Do you know if this effects self Tanner ?
Since this seems to help with age spots do you think this can be used on your hands to remove age spots and not necessarily for hair removal?
What's the product that works the best for age spots?
Wow! Very noticeable results 👏🏼 This has me very interested in trying the device! Thx Angie 😘
Angie, are you still using this device for your age spots? The video is 2 years old and I was wondering if, since this time, have you continued to treat your knee wrinkles and age spots with any at home devices?
Hi Angie. Does this give the same snapping type of feeling as a regular IPL?
At-home IPL is much less powerful than in-office IPL so it does have the snap but it's not as intense. Since the SmoothSkin Pure adjusts the intensity I found it very comfortable to use!
So… I have a question. I have VERY light hair and fair skin. Not really interested in the hair removal aspect. But, could I still use this for spots and knee wrinkles? That would be so great! By the way, as always a very interesting video.
Yes. My thigh hair is vellus hair (soft & colorless) so it ignores the hair follicles & focuses on the spots.
I just found this video but missed the discount! Will the company offer an extension on the discount??? This device looks perfect for me
Angie, what do you recommend now for leg age spots?
Kennzi didn’t work for me, and I found out the hard way their “money back guarantee” is not so. Buyer beware!
Same here! But I recently got the same device as Angie is showing here, have been using it for the past two months, and it is working great!
Me too! They said - sorry, we can’t help you out.
Me too! Now I’m just using the Kenzi to reduce sunspots.
I got the less fancy version of this one based on your previous video and think it is great! Thanks for giving awesome ecommendations!!
Hello there,
I just purchased this IPL device and was wondering if I should use special glasses while using it.
The booklet in the boxe don't say anything and I don't think the video mentioned it.
I just want to be safe, thank you.
Hi Angie. Have you reviewed any at home device to reduce spider veins? Thank you!
Thank you, Angie. I have had Kenzzi on my long-term wishlist. Glad I didn’t go there. I appreciate your thoroughness and time spent researching along with your before and after pics! You are amazing!
I may have missed this, but the 12 times that you used it, was that weekly, daily, every other day?
Can this be used on the face to help reduce wrinkles?
Hey Angie, I tried the promo code and it did not work for the Smooth Skin Pure device. Is there another you can share. I tried the Amazon link too and the price was 379 not 299. Thank you!
Can you use this on your face - for spots and wrinkles? And on your hands? Would that be better than a mask and mittens? Thank you for this video :-)
I just talked myself out of buying one of these. I think this is a sign I should just go for it 😊 thank you.
Great video. Is the hair reduction permanent? I know someone who has dark hair on their face area so I thought it would be great for that.
Wow the new Kenzzi is so much faster to use. I have the old model and I haven't had to use it for about three months now. Whatever leg hair I have is so much finer and really reduced. Your videos are my favorites and have been so helpful!
Hi Angie, are you still using this IPL device??
Great review, I bought this one for Christmas and find it awkward to hold and press the button - any tips? the reports are really good for this one as to lots more flashes per minute 100+ vs 40? (see their video) and works on face and body so worth a bit extra.
Thank you so much for this review and coupon code! Do you know if you need to get separate eye protection glasses when purchasing it? I didn't see eye protection for sale from the company, but maybe I missed it.
Angie! Your skin is beautiful and glowing! Love your channel! God bless.
Hi Angie! I was about to order the Kennzie when I watched your review. I ordered one today and used the discount. Thank you so much.
Thank you for the update! Do you happen to know how many joules the Kenzzi device uses? Just curious how it compares in that way to the SmoothSkin options.
Thank you Angie, I just bought it with your discount. Getting ready to go to Mexico and my legs need help!
Angie, your hair looks amazing in this video!! Keep on doing whatever you are doing!! 🌼
Hey Angie, can we use on our face spots?
Thank you for this update! I just purchased one through your link!
I bought the Kenzzi from your past video about age spots on your legs. I did it the full 12 weeks and nothing changed. :( So I doubt I'll buy another one of these. I may give the Kenzzi another try, but I think it's likely best to do this at a med spa instead.
Hi Angie, what do you use to keep your face skin tight?
So helpful!
Lol...same. been eyeing up Faustina as well. Just put in my order for this guy. So excited!
Have either is you seen any results in regards to age spots during the month of usage?
I purchased this product a few weeks ago!!!! I've been a bit nervous about starting use. I had no idea about the antiaging effects, got it for hair reduction. Thank you SO much Angie, you have relieved my fears.
Thanks so much! I’m excited to try this. FYI Canadian discount is $200.
Thanks for your insights! What type of eye protection would you recommend?
I linked a pair of glasses in the description box. I'm getting the same ones!
I used the Kenzi and I am very pleased with the results! Underarm hair almost completely gone! Most of the darker hair on my legs is gone! I’ve even used it on my upper lip (off label).
What tool do you recommend for men to remove back hair since it's hard to reach back there?
I agree, great deal! This looks so much more convenient than the Tria
