I've been wanting more so bad as of late. I've been comparing myself to others a lot, but how can I not? So much to gain. Currently as of writing im a bit ill. Which is incredibly frustrating and I feel like all im doing is complaining. But looking into the future, it's so bright. So fucking bright. So many dreams and aspirations, just to live alone with my partner would be a dream. This is the period of hard-work. Let's get it. Dec 2025, here I come.
P.S. I missed out a clip of me getting upset, it was quite personal, I did want to show the reality of it, but I also didn't. Sometimes I feel I must break a little to bounce back up.

Good news all around! I found when I didn't have a job for a bit earlier this year I was almost less productive. Having some sort of structure forced me to plan out when I had to do things and magically, they got done more consistently then when I had all the time in the world.
It is funny, you think you are so far behind, look back at Ep. 1, you've done so much in just a couple of months!

Just stumbled on these videos and they're very good. It's never a good idea to compare yourself to where others are and it's brilliant to see how far you've come. I'm 23 and have recently secured my second job after uni. The first job wasn't the best but I managed to push myself to get a better job and improve my situation. As long as you keep moving forward, there's no reason to be looking back unless you're learning from your past mistakes. Keep it up Tom, all the best.

Hey Tom, be sure not to just focus on goals/dreams because it might mean you feel like you are in the wrong position right now. Not to say it’s bad to have goals at all. It’s better to see it as a journey, looks like you’re seeing it this way anyway, you’re ahead of most people with the mindset you have and productive habits :)
In December 2025 you will have another dream, it’s just human nature to constantly want more
don't worry about being behind (btw you are for sure not behind, you're 23!), and what does being behind even mean, everyone is on there own path, you are doing good, enjoy life, that's the most important!

Another great episode mate! You're gonna be mentally exhausted because progress is something you're thinking about constantly. Do you have many ways you unwind? I find I spend a lot of time thinking even when it's my blocked off relaxing time and it just results in me feeling a bit burnt out/lost. Keep it up lad

Loving this series mate, funnily enough I have also picked up a part time job at Sainsbury’s too 😂 I’m picking the online orders which means I have to start at 4am 🙃 But I’m hoping to do some delivery driving soon so hopefully I can get more normal hours

It’s funny you feel “behind”. Behind to who? You’ll always be behind someone in life and there will be others behind you, who look up to your progress and hard work. If you put any more pressure on yourself it’s only a matter of time before it becomes insurmountable.
Also, really interesting tweet from Calfreezy that talks about longevity on YT. A lot of people chase the stats and trending edit styles, but, creating content you enjoy allows for an emotional connection with your fanbase to be built… that pays in the long anyway it’s worth the read.
You're correct. I am comparing myself to others, but also I think I feel I'm not where I want to be, so it should be good for drive and motivation. Still you are right haha.
I haven't seen the tweet, and although I do like the stats etc, all I do is make content that's authentic and feels right to me, so thats all good :)
