Well after trying this out, I have to say this was a frustrating experience!! This kinda highlighted the what was either really bad hit detection, hit boxes out of sync with enemies or lag, maybe a combination of all 3.
I recently bought the Division and discovered your videos over Christmas break. I just want to say that your work is extremely professional and very informative (sub'd). Thanks for the thorough videos. I just hit level 30 | 230 and running mostly PVE (not a big PVP guy). I'm having a lot of success using this Lincoln Tunnel farm method... \m/ Keep plugging away sir!

Just fyi the tunnel mission on challenging right from the start is a no respawn zone, so...yeah...love your videos, hope to see the solo medic one you were talking about soon! thanks Marco!
haven't played this game in like 6 months but watch a video every now and then. kinda glad i don't play when i see that you guys are still grinding the same content as day 1.
As someone who is currently sitting in Afhganistan, I only get a few hours to play each week, and I appreciate the time and effort you're putting into the videos! If you did more videos for solo players, that would be awesome! (Especially since I haven't played since 1.3.... so I just started last week, and I am waaaaayyyyyyy behind everyone else.)
@MarcoStyle, great, great tip. Being doing this since 1.4 myself as well. Just as a heads : Do try to squeeze a DISCIPLINED talent into this build. Since you will be one shooting a lot of NPCs, having a 100% crit chance virtually every time you squeeze that trigger is the biggest buff (and help) you can get while doing this. Adds as much CHD as you can (but yes, always prioritize XP bonus over ANYTHING while doing this), and this becomes much easier, imho. Thx for the video and kudos. Peace!
This is awesome, some other good points: You die? It just resets, your loot isn't gone. Don't have the best loot? Just do as much as you can then grab the drops and gear up as you're doing it, very quickly. And you can do it on a lower WT if you havent played for a few patches (my gear is from 1.3 :D)
Insane tip, gonna try it out. Started playing div 1 because of the experience of NY in snow and i really want to pvp, love you're and widdz pvp Videos there are awesome. Play div 2 aswell but i dont like the dark zone at all there. Pvp in div1 looks so more fun.
Now this I gotta do! The biggest hurdle here for casuals is the frustration on the first few runs. Even if you explicitly stated it in your video that it will take a few runs to master, casuals will have a hard time shaking that frustration off.

A lot of complainers talking about not having the gear shown: keep farming resistance, named bosses and try Amherst Apartments with a high XP + Accomplished knee pads build. Same idea - farming for XP and Field Proficiency Caches. Anyhow tyvm for the video, going to try it out once I have some good snipers for AlphaBridge
Hi Marco! Congrats for your videos, I really appreciate your content. I would like to suggest only one thing, create a summary/condensation sheet at the end of the video. You usually put a lot of info in your video and I use to watch between my commuting, so would be really cool to get a short seconds of screen with all talents/build/mods necessary to try reproduce the tutorial in a second time (yeah, I'm lazy to rush all video again :D). here's some thoughts on improvements. I'm 1 shotting (almost) everything and I got 100% uptime on Tactical link. 2x M44 Custom Commanding Skilled Predatory Coolheaded & the Secret Sauce Deadly + Disciplined = OWNAGE! I run a Robust chest instead of Reckless at 7805 Firearms. the Disciplined + deadly allows me to 1shot almost all the mobs as long as I don't miss, which I can do fairly well with the right positioning. The Robust gives me more survivability while in mobile cover This works amazingly well :) Thanks BOT_Potato & MarcoStyle for this video :)
I've started to run an Imunizer with healing speed mods now as well. instead of selfheal. makes me able to completely disregard the annoying molotovs. If you run it with Tech Support you can keep it up inevitably. Talents so far are thus: Precision Tech Support Strikeback One is None.
Man your videos are always very informative and very detail I play solo and I am tired of farming for stuff or having to go into the DZ don't know why it has to be this complicated to get named gear and weapons going to leave this game alone for a while, bored of the farming
Cool video man. I prefer to farm all named bosses or do an incursion if im looking for specific pieces. Iget burnt out if I do something like that over and over. But this would be really good for the casual like you said.
Not sure if you'll get this message but this vid showed up in my recommended videos. Watched it again for giggles and thought maybe you should do a division hilight video captioning all the things (or some) we went through during the life of the game. Couldn't believe we did stuff like this.
Shout out to me, been rolling this build since 1.4 lol, except now I have barretts chestpiece, as soon as I used Accomplished I knew they'd be a permanent armour piece for my build. All i have to do for this farm is swap out one stamina piece for firearms lmao. Even tried out a one shot AB sniper xp farm method at the beginning of clear sky and it worked pretty well.

Taco Shuriken While I do argue certain games play much better on controllers/consoles than PC games do, I certainly don't give 'precision' for being a valid reason as to how. That being said, you can be precise in this game if you're good with control sticks. I wish they made the aiming smooth and snappy like Gears of War.

It seems when I make my FOCUS of trying to be the big-shot and/or follow what everyone is doing I get pissed off and start hating the game. Well I TRIED it but... I have Alpha Bridge for BackPac, Gloves, Holster and Kneepads but NOT for a Vest or for the Mask?? SOOoo IF I want to use FOUR Alpha Bridge pieces then I cannot use the necessary KneePads. If I do then I am only using three Alpha Bridge pieces. Also I could NOT get the Commanding talent to roll. I spent like 1100 Phoenix Points on five rolls and never got the Commanding talent! In fact in five rolls everything I got was garbage. The original was better so the 1100 points was TOTALLY WASTED... That has been the MAIN PROBLEM with this game ALL ALONG! We do NOT get good rewards. The LOOT was certainly INCREASED with Updates 1.4 and 1.5 but but too often we just get the SAME STUFF over and over, and OVER. They need to give us MUCH MORE diversity. Then grinding and farming would be worth it. But when you get the SAME LoneStar or same holsters and holsters and HOLSTERS, over and over it really becomes a work of futility!!! I have like 25 holsters and have already got rid of at least another 25 since they came out with Survival and 1.5!! Love Survival though. That IS one REASON I am still enjoying and playing the game...
Thanks for the loot cave! Needed it. What are some of the other setups you mentioned? Since it can get boring if we farm the same map over and over. A change of map farming would be nice
Tried this out - spent good time getting the skilled / determined weapon - had 82% XP, as much EAD as I could, DtE, 6 active dps talents on my sniper - perfect. But it's not really perfect. The first problem is that the mobile cover is difficult to place on the top of the truck. Managed to do that and start taking down the bruisers. Great, until the heavy gunner appears and demolishes my cover which goes in to cooldown so that's the end of that. I respawn down by the ammo cache, then you run up jump on top of the truck again and try to place your cover down but you dont have time as the bruisers are already upon you - end of that one. Respawn at ammo cache again - going to try it down here as I dont have time to run up to truck. Place cover down and start sniping as they appear. This is better. However, the cover soon goes down from the heavy gunner, you're set on fire by multiple incendiaries and that's the end. rinse and repeat and this gave me a field cache in 15 minutes. Oh well!!!
I work nearly 60 hours a week now. Have a pregnant wife and our son, I play casually since launch, and since 1.4 and 1.5, I have 3 Alts that are completely min maxed with Alpha Bridge, Predators Mark and Strikers. Just from playing the daily missions and weekly HVTs etc. I.e playing the game. Great farming method, but if you can wait a week or two and just play on the weekends or at night after work, you'll get there.
The talent that gives you a 50% chance of returning a bullet on a headshot would be helpful for this farm... a 1 in 2 chance for each bullet to return to the mag is pretty good. Infact just looking at talents I woudl run Precision (Headshot hostile to pulse them, for those enemies that may survive a headshot), One is None (50% chance to not consume a bullet on headshot), Tech Support (Kills with a deployed skill extends active skills by 10%) and Police Up (kill a hostile with any skill to have a 10% chance to refill all ammo types to capacity).
great vid, could you do an updated solo farming method since ive been trying this one and the NPCs didnt drop so much stuff and also the experience didnt go as fast, maybe was my gear, but I would like you to do an updated version please!
Just as a heads up guys. There is a SOCOM Mk20 blueprint on this weeks vendors. 370 pheonix creds. Its a 204 ilvl one but the requirements are low enough that commanding and skilled will work easily.
YEAH, why spend ALL THIS TIME to farm. JUST go PLAY, and HAVE FUN. I was thinking how Massive SAID they changed 1.5 so that we can get the gear we need for the NEXT LEVEL, WITHOUT having to play the NEXT level to GET THE GEAR you need to PLAY the next level. Sounds LIKE double-talk, right? WHICH of course IS SO DUMB, but I am not so sure they FIXED IT. They have some guys at Massive that DO NOT want us to get to much loot, and be bored! WOW, get bored, so they are stingy! And it just shows how little confidence they have in their own game!! IF it is good we won't get bored. Then, also IF something actually WORKS GOOD, then they have to NERF it!!! No wonder the game is dying. Its like Massive is AGAINST the players, THEIR CUSTOMERS. What other business tries to screw their customers by RUINING their own product???
Yeah I know that. But they had to spend the last 3 months to fix it. When the boys get bored they will be GONE AGAIN. Who said I HATED THE DIVISION, you are reading something into it that I DID NOT SAY! I love the game, and I have played OVER 1,100, that should say something? But I am NOT a fan boy!! I believe in telling the truth, not floating my hoorah for what is wrong with the game. They still have LOTS of issues with XBox, PS4 and the PC too. However, I will say that Massive did a get job with fixing the game, but I can remember when games used to come out ready to go, with little or NO BUGS. But it seem since about 2007 they all come out bugged, really bad. Battlefield 3 and 4 was broken for the FIRST 4-6 months, and unplayable for most people. My grandson had a brand NEW, HIGH END PC that he had just built and could not play BF4 for the first 6 months. I think that Game Companies should be ashamed of the junk that they put out. HOORAH that they FIXED most of the issue BUT if they had coded everything right the first time, they might still have some MINOR issues but NOT the massive problems that Massive had in the first SEVEN months. So go blow your FAN BOY horn some place else..................
They should also take into account people who love a good story and great graphics, but kind of suck at figuring out complex "builds" and "mods" etc. I get bored after being killed 40 times on my first big mission, and having to start at the beginning, instead of spawning where I went down.
Hi I'm from the futur and now in the division we've got classified and exotic stuff and they are EXTREMELY RARE sooooo you still have to farm the game to get the good build for PVE and PVP
that seems better then the build I use, 3 striker reckless savage and accomplished and everything in dmg to elites and enemy armor dmg with lightweight m4 with unforgiving destructive and ferocious

gotta say getting back into the divison is intimidating my gear is i believe 170ish range haven't played in awhile wanted to wait till things got fixed when they delayed survival DLC guess i'll have to see how it goes
Great Video but the real problem is on console, setting the mobile cover down seems to lag a little and there is no time to run from the back and get it set up in time to start landing those headahots
Using this farm for a while now works well for caches. I have got lots of gear from using this type of farm. I call it shampoo farming rinse and repeat 😂
Marco and guys I need to know, I haven't played since 1.1 because of how repetitive and hard it was to play solo. But after watching more and more videos on The Division including Marcos. I feel like the game is trying to make it better for solo players. I am very competitive on this game and need to know is it worth coming back?
What would you expect to have changed? The game is literally designed to be repetitive... it's a massive, pointless stat grind. More random faceless thugs and mercenaries have been gunned down in the 1/5 of Manhattan featured in The Division than the population of China several times over. The world feels live, but it's actually static... you can't change anything, all you can really do is take over areas and decrease enemies... and since mobs are nothing more than walking loot chests from the player's perspective, decreasing them is either detrimental or irrelevant. This wouldn't be a problem if it were a straight-up single-player game, but that's not what this is being billed as... you're not playing a campaign. People don't grind this much for open-world games. What's the point of maxing out stats and builds? Well... there's PVP in the Hack Zone, where chances are even the legit players will always have higher gear and stats than you do. This game has some great, solid code ... they just needed to go further with it, innovate more with direct and asynchronous multiplayer, provide more ways to actually interact with the game world. But it's easier to just sell another map and some more gear in a paid DLC, minimum effort for maximum profit.
I would be more than happy doing this, instead of running around hunting live world bosses, but i'm on PS4, PLEASE Marco, tell massive to fix the zooming-in/out frame rate drop on consoles, we can't play with MMR's rifles any more with this bug

If nothing else, switching to purple mods to increase kill xp is brilliant. I've got 2 proficiency caches just 5 bosses into my farming loop. Thanks!

The first problem is that the mobile cover is difficult to place on the top of the truck. Managed to do that and start taking down the bruisers. Great, until the heavy gunner appears and demolishes my cover which goes in to cooldown so that's the end of that. I respawn down by the ammo cache, then you run up jump on top of the truck again and try to place your cover down but you dont have time as the bruisers are already upon you - end of that one. Respawn at ammo cache again - going to try it down here as I dont have time to run up to truck. Place cover down and start sniping as they appear. This is better. However, the cover soon goes down from the heavy gunner, you're set on fire by multiple incendiaries and that's the end. rinse and repeat and this gave me a field cache in 15 minutes. Oh well!!!

I found out that Shotguns with a Striker gear set is beastly, I would highly suggest using the Showstopper if you have it

Your aim is pretty legit man! I caught myself thinking, is this an aim bot? Do you drop your DPI or something?
I work nearly 60 hours a week now. Have a pregnant wife and our son, I play casually since launch, and since 1.4 and 1.5, I have 3 Alts that are completely min maxed with Alpha Bridge, Predators Mark and Strikers. Just from playing the daily missions and weekly HVTs etc. I.e playing the game. Great farming method, but if you can wait a week or two and just play on the weekends or at night after work, you'll get there.

The talent that gives you a 50% chance of returning a bullet on a headshot would be helpful for this farm... a 1 in 2 chance for each bullet to return to the mag is pretty good.
Infact just looking at talents I woudl run Precision (Headshot hostile to pulse them, for those enemies that may survive a headshot), One is None (50% chance to not consume a bullet on headshot), Tech Support (Kills with a deployed skill extends active skills by 10%) and Police Up (kill a hostile with any skill to have a 10% chance to refill all ammo types to capacity).

get the talent with ammo reproduce chance per kill.
firecrest set with lmg is also a killing floor method ;))

Just as a heads up guys. There is a SOCOM Mk20 blueprint on this weeks vendors. 370 pheonix creds. Its a 204 ilvl one but the requirements are low enough that commanding and skilled will work easily.

YEAH, why spend ALL THIS TIME to farm. JUST go PLAY, and HAVE FUN.
I was thinking how Massive SAID they changed 1.5 so that we can get the gear we need for the NEXT LEVEL, WITHOUT having to play the NEXT level to GET THE GEAR you need to PLAY the next level. Sounds LIKE double-talk, right? WHICH of course IS SO DUMB, but I am not so sure they FIXED IT.
They have some guys at Massive that DO NOT want us to get to much loot, and be bored! WOW, get bored, so they are stingy! And it just shows how little confidence they have in their own game!! IF it is good we won't get bored.
Then, also IF something actually WORKS GOOD, then they have to NERF it!!!
No wonder the game is dying. Its like Massive is AGAINST the players, THEIR CUSTOMERS. What other business tries to screw their customers by RUINING their own product???

Who said I HATED THE DIVISION, you are reading something into it that I DID NOT SAY! I love the game, and I have played OVER 1,100, that should say something? But I am NOT a fan boy!! I believe in telling the truth, not floating my hoorah for what is wrong with the game. They still have LOTS of issues with XBox, PS4 and the PC too.
However, I will say that Massive did a get job with fixing the game, but I can remember when games used to come out ready to go, with little or NO BUGS. But it seem since about 2007 they all come out bugged, really bad. Battlefield 3 and 4 was broken for the FIRST 4-6 months, and unplayable for most people. My grandson had a brand NEW, HIGH END PC that he had just built and could not play BF4 for the first 6 months. I think that Game Companies should be ashamed of the junk that they put out. HOORAH that they FIXED most of the issue BUT if they had coded everything right the first time, they might still have some MINOR issues but NOT the massive problems that Massive had in the first SEVEN months.
So go blow your FAN BOY horn some place else..................

They should also take into account people who love a good story and great graphics, but kind of suck at figuring out complex "builds" and "mods" etc. I get bored after being killed 40 times on my first big mission, and having to start at the beginning, instead of spawning where I went down.
Hi I'm from the futur and now in the division we've got classified and exotic stuff and they are EXTREMELY RARE sooooo you still have to farm the game to get the good build for PVE and PVP
that seems better then the build I use, 3 striker reckless savage and accomplished and everything in dmg to elites and enemy armor dmg with lightweight m4 with unforgiving destructive and ferocious

Great Video but the real problem is on console, setting the mobile cover down seems to lag a little and there is no time to run from the back and get it set up in time to start landing those headahots
Using this farm for a while now works well for caches. I have got lots of gear from using this type of farm. I call it shampoo farming rinse and repeat 😂

Marco and guys I need to know, I haven't played since 1.1 because of how repetitive and hard it was to play solo. But after watching more and more videos on The Division including Marcos. I feel like the game is trying to make it better for solo players. I am very competitive on this game and need to know is it worth coming back?
What would you expect to have changed? The game is literally designed to be repetitive... it's a massive, pointless stat grind. More random faceless thugs and mercenaries have been gunned down in the 1/5 of Manhattan featured in The Division than the population of China several times over. The world feels live, but it's actually static... you can't change anything, all you can really do is take over areas and decrease enemies... and since mobs are nothing more than walking loot chests from the player's perspective, decreasing them is either detrimental or irrelevant. This wouldn't be a problem if it were a straight-up single-player game, but that's not what this is being billed as... you're not playing a campaign. People don't grind this much for open-world games. What's the point of maxing out stats and builds? Well... there's PVP in the Hack Zone, where chances are even the legit players will always have higher gear and stats than you do.
This game has some great, solid code ... they just needed to go further with it, innovate more with direct and asynchronous multiplayer, provide more ways to actually interact with the game world. But it's easier to just sell another map and some more gear in a paid DLC, minimum effort for maximum profit.
