I deadass just bought this game so that's why I'm a year late, yesterday I was a rank 4 and then some guy with a huge armor rating invited me to his party helped me get to level 10 and gave me all his nomad gear... Legend....

I honestly believe classifieds make the game much more fair and balanced, now everyone can be just as OP as eachother lol...

Call me paranoid but I feel like they changed something about how those "Superior" caches drop Classified gear. I remember them dropping way more Classified than anything else, including Exotics.
I've got like 10 striker glove and no striker set...
In fact, every youtuber I swear have good favour with the rng gods. The simple fact that they've got a full classified set is witchcraft to me.

Ive also been using predator in PvP and its no where near as powerful as it seems. I don't know if i've been unlucky but every match of Skirmish i've been in has my team get destroyed. I also always see them cleansing my bleed effect with medkits and that one talent that makes you invulnerable for 7 seconds from status effects. Thats plenty of time for the stiker player to run up to me and out damage me.
I've never clicked on a solo build video so fast this is the one I've been waiting for!

Just built this one myself very strong solo build with a carefree attitude to face tanking rogues. Built mine with a M4 vicious deadly unforgiving and a model 700 vicious deadly elevated works a treat

MarcoStyle they are doing a lot of damage somehow, I tried to stack on firearms with a hybrid build using ninja with shotgun or another one with M4 and SMG but they were useless. I tries to stack with almost 10k firearms then I tried with other build with more stamina and nothing, nomad keep surviving and they DO a lot of danage somehow and Predators keep droping you like a paper with the bleeding... build diversity is dead now thanks to the stamina value and we are back to 1.2 and 1.3 thanks to that, you brought that to the table and they heard you. Nomad is perfect for the solo player
I personally think Strikers Classified is the best for the solo player (solo since launch, group when I need to on Patch updates or global events). Nomad is definitely great, but Strikers beats it in my opinion.

DeJos P. I mean, it sorta speaks for itself, when you scroll down your bonus window “I work better alone, even after the war.” Is the quote used for the set, which sorta does paint a picture that it’s pretty much better solo than in a team.

Massive had PLENTY of time to change Predator, they didn't, even with a lot of feedback. It would be extremely cheap to nerf it now that everyone has put in time trying to get it.
They can balance it you know , it will not be op ,but it will be good at least .
So many ways you can counter pred. It isn't nearly as strong as Nomad or Striker
The Rival I understand, it's just annoying to think after all these months they would wait until everyone worked for it to change it.

I deleted all my stash items as well as backpack space (gear,weapons,attachments) last week to start fresh with this patch. Had the same gear since June and played the same style. It seems to have brought back the challenging aspect to the game and gives me something to work towards again.
Predators would be a great PvE build if Shrapnel had a higher % to proc bleed on enemies within the 10m radius. Say from 30% to 50%.
I'd only increase the modifier for PvE though, normalize and revert the value to the original when in PvP.
I also will admit that I don't want to see the set nerfed too harshly. Whilst I do dabble in some PvP here and there, there are too many variables and it's not competitive enough for me to care so any nerf would ultimately hurt the thing I do the most which is PvE.
I know, I'm selfish but given that PM is one of my two fave sets next to SC (& I missed that GE) I'd rather it remain as strong as it is for a bit. Sorry regular PvPers, just my 2 cents.

Just a few questions. is skill haste necessary in this patch? Also does signature gain resource mods work for nomads luck cooldown?
I got back into The Division last night since a long time ago, like when they added the first incursion, but I played for like 6 hours until 2 am. I did my first incursion, Stolen signal, it took like 3 or more hours. That sucked. Bought 3 superier strike crates, all sucked. Then I bought a regular one, I got the bike messenger backpack thing. Which was nice at 2 am after all that work.
Esdras Castaneda they made the drop rate so shit... The first GE you could get a whole set in a few hours.

Wasn't able to get the complete sets (cuz I was stupid and accidentally deleted a couple pieces). But I'm loving my predator build. I PVE mainly, having a blast. Still working on my Nomad build.

Great video. As an casual the Division player I collected path of the nomad 6 pieces gear set for CS (without cool down I can carry the boxes without any problem) and survivability in the DZ. However, as a poor pvp player I can put down group of 2 rogue player, for now.

I went with 5k across firearms, stamina & electronics. To me that's the perfect build for the Nomad set. Also with The House with the talented talent and deadly an a Warlord with unforgiving an responsive

I had not played this game in about 6 months and logged on with my high end build and spent the majority of Lexington Challenge with about 1 health bar. I quickly put togehter a nomad build and had much better success. I play solo 100% of the time and this is the way to go.
HELLO can you make a nomad healer build ????? since you are UNKILLABLE with the nomad buff and you can heal teammates... that is mean immortal group PLEASE make build
just because this works dont mean shit as he'll have to change the stats theirfore making the build weaker.
He made some points about this and I will add 1-2 myself:
- Nomad is hard to kill, thats true + might be less expected that the guy with the overheal and the nomad gear is the healer, so even less focus on you
- However you dont get any of the utility another healerbuild (FM, Recl) would give you. No strong support station, no grenade defuse, no teamwide extremely strong buffs!
- if you die first or early in the fight, you or your team fucked up in one way or another.
- A healer isnt the be all end all solution. A lot of his value comes from how the team utilizes him (do they try to fight around station? Are they trying to grab whichever heal you throw at a teammate so they all get value? Do they fight smart?) What Im trying to say with this point is that simply having one or even two healers in the squad still requires teamplay. And with teamplay you can try to let your healer life for a decent amount of time, so I'd rather have a FM or Recl in the team than a nomad healer.
Regardless, I considered a nomad healer for myself, but I chose not to simply because I'd have to pass on other very good things (FM, Recl).
If you watch marcos healerguides and gameplay you can see how passive he plays. This allows him to life quite long and keep supporting his team. Sure, if his team gets wiped or bad shit happens, he dies.
But think about it that way: If you play smart and get better and better as a healer, you can survive even without being a nomad healer. However, a nomad healerbuild will never give you the insane utility a reclaimer or final measure can give you!
So most of the time you get way more value from being a FM or Recl healer than you would from being a nomad healer, which would only give you value when you actually would die and your team manages to clean up in time (so you don't die again!).
Nice to see the videos more consistently Marco. It's also nice to see this game come back.
lets be real here, predator should not have critical bleeds. I think removing critical builds is a good enough nerf, striker is also a bit strong with the house but most times when i ifght them i dont die too quickly. Im just worried about the exotic gear. Rip barrett chest, Rip skull gloves, Rip high end builds, Rip ferro mask ( it died the moment it was released).

How about we stop nerfing things and start buffing things to even out? I for one so far like every sent in the game. Predator actually works for both PVP and PVE now. Stryker is a pain in the ass build which I also believe to be o p but I'm sure nothing will be done about that.

Dude striker isn’t op, it can be countered if you have bad aim and can’t land shots, or if you’re focused so you can gain stacks, an emp can counter, pred can definitely be very hard to deal with but striker can over come at full stacks and if they kill the pred. I think striker is in a perfect spot, there’s other strong gearsets too. Plus with the amount of time spent grinding, all classifieds should be strong. Just pred is Broken rn

MarcoStyle I play predator and is not overpowered at all. I counter any predator with striker very easy. Also predator feels very squishy even with 9000 stamina. I like predator but it’s not overpowered. It’s good for dark zone but it’s trash for last stand and 4v4. For now I think striker and nomad in same level. In some situations I can see striker and nomad much better comparing to predator.
MarcoStyle if you have predator marks on you and you place life station (immuniser). Predator marks will go away. It’s works I tested. So you have 5 Melkite + life station to counter predator marks. Go on and test it.
algatronalgirdas you medkit and get a bleed 2 seconds after, then immunizer and get another bleed 2 secs after. There, no more immunities you can use so then you’ll die because it’ll be reapplied in another second

Immunity only removes the predators mark bleed. It can immediately be re-applied regardless of immunity status, and you'll have to remove it again.
Nitain Extract well idk I often killed "Predators" so I dont see a problem with it as over-powered

If you want to spec on cut hit chance and crit hit damage why don’t you run SMGS such as the house.

Adam Spaulding plz, how can I counter? I pop a med kit and 2 seconds later I'm on bleed again.. and my immune box only works to rinse the bleed off once, why? Because predator mark ignores immunity. So plz tell me, how can I counter it?

yeah you have to dance on edge of your support station .. really practical counterplay. If you could at least tune down that dmg by bleed resists but nope.... it is absolutly stupidly broken set.

A bit difference that I use "The house" as Primary weapon.
Finally I've got Sustained /predatory/Determined^ on my Sawed off. But it quite difficult to use it to finished them off. So I'll keep practicing. (PS4)

I've got the nomad 5 piece on the first day of the global event,then i spent the rest of the week,hunting for the nomad gloves,but the game just refused to drop it :( at least i got the d3fnc and the banshee...

I like Jesimein. But, that video doesn't show anything. He says the same stuff you should already be doing in *any* gunfight. Pressure, movement, timing heals, etc.
Predator is 100% overpowered. I'm having fun with it for now. But, after absolutely owning a server by myself for at least a half hour, winning gunfights I probably should've lost, I have to say that no amount of defending it is gonna change the facts. It *is* blatantly overpowered.
Honestly, I feel Striker is still a bit OP, too. But, not as bad as Predator's Mark. The heal aspect has to go. I was okay with the heal until I realized that the 6pc bonus *also* gives you two stacks for bullet, or shotgun pellet, that hits. Even with mediocre aim, it is insanely easy to keep stacks about 50-60 at all times. When high damage like that is so easily sustainable, you shouldn't be getting a significant heal that is equally easy to sustain. Yeah, it can be countered with EMP. But, solo players are gonna have a lot of struggling on their hands since running without both heals, or at least a concealed pulse, is severely hindering your survivability in this update.
Remove the healing from Striker, altogether. But keep the 2-for-1 stacking, and 1-to-1 stack loss for missing shots and Striker becomes perfect.
For Predator, remove the insane 120% bonus bleed damage that stacks on top of the other 15% bonuses for every 3k stamina, *and* the normal bleed values from the 4pc. Make the 6pc bonus a flat value of 100% of the total damage (like it used to be when Predator's Mark first came out) with the ability to also crit and ignore bleed resistances. Then, Predator is still really strong in all scenarios.
MarcoStyle How does final measure counter it?
MarcoStyle Fix adrenaline, make bleed resist work, and don't allow bleed through immunizer. That is as far as they should go balancing Predator IMO.
I think they just need to add more medkit capacity to your build. But still, it's not broken to me. Dz is Dz, if you die, that means your build is not good enough.

and this was the same person who called Firecrest classified op during PTS because of the burn chance ability it had, and said predator wouldn't be that op but oh look what we have here, the complete opposite, firecrest got nerfed before its release while pred didnt even get touched during the PTS shows the mentality

Striker won't drop from the caches.
30 caches is really not a lot. If you think about it. There are 4 new sets and 6 possible pieces per set. 4*6 is 24. Being that caches drop exotics and also non classifieds. You really should shoot for at least 90 caches to truly say you farmed enough.

There is a way to counter predator. Drop a grenade and get yourself to bleed. It seems the predator doesn't give you an additional bleed effect. The grenade bleed is substantially weaker than predator, and that is the only thing they have with weaker arms to drop you. Denying them that and they have no recourse as you mow them down.
I would counter close range and low health with house (responsive+unforgiving) it would become insane damage as its strongest smg and for that crit chance it just shred trough anything

Thanks for the video. I have to say I am an extreme noob at this. I play mostly solo in the Division and would join a team every now and then (mostly in Underground as i do not have the skillset yet to assist anyone in Dark Zone). I had all the Nomad gear and got rid it not understanding the importance of gear sets until recently. I even had the double barrel sawed off which worked pretty good but got rid of it after. So I will work on getting the gear back. I also have other gear sets I need to work on as well, but like you said I believe Nomad is the best gear set for a solo player. Thanks again.
Hey Marco, I have found bug and tips that you can raise the issue to Massive, 1st is that the bug that you can kill non-rogue players with exploding cover in DZ.
2nd is that Predator's mark build with 9000 stamina, you can get up to 200k bleed damage with 229 AR with right options such as brutal, deadly and responsive. also currently in Camp Clinton, 229 P416 blueprint makes enhanced ACR(also the graphic looks ACR not P416).
In the division is de Schade Per Seconde niet goed weergegeven. Als je de echt SPS wil uit wil rekenen moet je de rpm (roundspermin) :60 x sch (schade) doen.
Ik kwam erachter toen mn m4 met meer sch en rpm dan een andere gun minder sps had, en dat lag niet aan de talenten of de mods want het wapen was stock.
Great vid as always. I did a similar build but focusing the mods on skill haste. My Firearms is a little bit smaller and my toughness bigger. Right now I'm using The House (with deadly and self preserved) and a Warlord (or Showstopper) because my only glove has a SMG damage. I'm enjoying actually. Difficult to face tank strikers but effective. I don't think this build is OP because the game need something to help solo players desperately. It's too rough with solo players and now people have a small chance to succeed for hours in DZ. Gonna try with more FA instead of STA after I optimize some pieces.
I am running around 7,500 rolled into stamina and using the Eir and Hildr as my weapons with a little under 5,000 rolled into firearms (I never thought I would use these guns but I find them useful with this build since I can really stack my Critical Hit damage +30% to melt people more). My crit hit chance is practically at 60% and my crit hit damage can get all the way up to 150% when I pop a pulse and use the weapon talent that unlocks when you use both the Eir and Hildr. My damage isn't as strong as my Lonestar build, but I feel I do enough damage to decently melt people while still having all that stamina. My favorite part of this build is that I can really pick and choose my fights and it gives me a more than likely chance to escape when 4 players try to gang up on me in the DZ. There have been a few times already where I have simply survived and outrun a group of 4 players while taking out a few on the way. It is lots of fun.
Back when Division cared about their solo players. Hard to be a solo player in Division 2 especially in the DZ. Doesn't matter how much armor you have on you will be completely shredded by someone who has just decent, not great dps.
Nomad used for circuit carrying in clear sky paired with final measure. Also good for pyrotechnics in stolen signal. And bomb planting in falcons

While playing last stand yesterday (Me running a 6 piece predator's mark build) I encountered this player with the 6 piece nomads build, it took me like 2 long minutes to kill him lol, I think I lowered his health bar like 3 times, man it was intense, a nice 1v1. But still I think striker is better that nomads and predator's. I mean you have damage, health and in top of that you heal yourself while shooting.....
Hi Marco, Thank you for the video, know it was lots time spend on it. Appreciate a guide for solo players. since this game had its ups and downs, teammates stop playing and you need to play solo every time you restart playing.
I'd personally go for a more Balenced build, with one electronics roll and one or two stamina rolls, if you have 2 3 4 5 lives and you can heel yourself a ton, and hit somewhat hard... You'll be beyond op

If you stack enough firepower then you can basically do double damage with historian. I do 150k critical and 130k damage with the explosive round that explodes inside.... I have no health but I only use this class when I’m playing with other so still works

the MDR works very good with the nomad that thing hit very hard and the house for the back up
And you'll get more utility out of competent if you reduce to the range scanner pulse that comes around every 30 or so seconds opposed to every 50 or so second conceal, nice tip with warlord tho ;) ...will try that

7:00 don't forget Turrets got nerfed into the ground in PvP and Seeker mines are borderline useless, so most players don't bother running either anymore. So aside from Incendiary nades you almost never have to worry about being set on fire from a player now.

I have 4d 3h 32m played and have a full classified striker set from the event. As well as using the Pier 93 strat for maximum credits to open the cache at least 3-4 times. My next goal is full classified Pred or Nomad.

I feel like in a group you could run it as a healer build, when manhunt if your team goes down you should be able to escape and regroup no problem.
Cut the rope commendation and supply drop collection would be easier now with this build! Woohoo!
Vicious and deadly work great with the 6 piece nomad
yesterday i had only 5 piece nomad as i don't have the chest yet and i took on both of my friends that have predators mark 6 piece specked onto crit damage, i had assembled my build earlier yesterday so its not polished or optimised, but i still managed to kill them both without my nomad triggering, i have 7,772 firearms, 5,536 stamina and 2,960 skill power. i hope that if they decide to fix it they don't ruin it like sentry a couple of patches ago.
