Im actually wishing for some kind of nerf to alpha since thats what everyone uses, me tho i have a 1-shot sniper high end build going on, trying to see what i can do to make it better, but it has base damage of 133k with elevated,prepared,and brutal, i use a mobile cover and booster for increased damage and have a tenatuis(slaughtered that don't know how to spell it) and skulls mc gloves, my headshot damage is 178% and my toughness (in the DZ) is 359k and i use a famas with it
Big shame that two of the best & most knowledgable players in the DZ wont be in the PvP ETF though, could've really done with your input on this matter guys.
Nice, I have a build just like that only completely different, but it's still 4 piece Alpha with refreshed mask and specialized backpack. But now I know how that build is supposed to be so off I go to make some adjustments, thank you very much MarcoStyle for this video.

I tried fighting 2 teams of rouges after 2 of my teammates died and even at 1,054,000 toughness they still kill me. Im pretty sure it was because they weren't standing in front of each other and every bullet was hitting me directly. plus i was doing battle with one guy trying to shoot me in the back. Lasted longer than i thought i would. Great build Marco!

Amazing video, once again Marco. I farmed for almost 2 weeks for Barrett's Vest only to get a crappy roll and find out that it's bugged, so I'm gonna give this a try.
Barrett's vest is bugged; many report it doesn't work properly/consistently and there's a known bug with the stats not showing up properly that Massive has acknowledged. They say it works even thought the stats don't show, but many say it doesn't.

Yes, the stacking all three of insane. I've been considering trying that in combination with the defense ult... you would truly be invisible for at least 10 seconds.
@marcostyle alpha bridge becomes even more powerful when you run it with 7 talents - for me its competent, which i unlock trough the hand shotgun, i activate it trough pulse or booster shot, switch to my m4 and fire with 7 talents
I'm relatively new to the game (and to your channel, hi!), and I seem to have a similar mindset when it comes to DZ builds. I am not a rogue player, but I use scrambler just to keep off potential rogues radars. However, I use the support station as being able to "super tank/death tank" groups of NPCs, even in DZ06, has saved me many a time. Currently using the Security Link as I'm short on points for the Medical Link. Must admit, I like the running speed for those GTFO moments. I am also remaining at 29 for a while, just to get DZ experience (and DZ rank exp), and bumping up my credits can't hurt. I use a SMG and a Bolt Action Marksman, with a Firearms focus, while still boosting armour and health when I can, and recently got a specialised backpack just to help skill power. I'm still tweaking my build, but I am pretty much at the gear cap for level 29, so it is only minor changes here and there. Currently, my stats are F:3137 (111984 smg dps) S:1641 (150929) E:960 (41966). Is that decent for 29? I am drawn between between my current support station and booster shot... any thoughts?

I 1v4'd rogues with this build and it works amazingly well, especially when groups underestimate your toughness and DPS untill you hit the medkit and heal, then you can just turn the tables and turn into a savage. This really is one of the best builds for solo in the dark zone.
one little thing to have in mind that heads hoot damage for the mods on the weapon is good if ur are an accurate shooter and always aim for the head But when the target moves a lot and u are hip firing which most players do head shoots mods are a waste... if I was u I would use critical chance on most and ur build would be much better belive me I tried it already... overall great vid like always Marco... like they say in the Netherlands cya later :)
Get responsive or brutal (your choice) in the free slot on a G36 with destructive and unforgiving and then a FAMAS with vicious, deadly and uncomplicated. Use the G36 because it is naturally accurate and with responsive/brutal in the free slot you won't need any main stats rolled to fire arms. You will need to use all fire arms mods though so stacking enemy armour damage is very good. I have 330k DPS, 500k toughness and 100k skill power, 4 Alpha Bridge, Specialised and savage
I've stacked everything in electronics (full tactician, 342k Base skill) I run barretts chest and relentless or specialised. I run seeker mine and anything the team needs based on the situation. It's pretty strong in DZ, players don't expect the seeker mine to instantly kill them and it's a good counter to the 'up in your face' Alpha bridge agents.
@marcostylenl yeah it's the alpha bridge cookie cutter build but I think you put a good spin on it for folks who don't have Barrett chest. that 30% Health is, in my opinion, kinda like the the specialized book bad in that it's good all the time. Even get a nice boost from signature when it procs. And you taught me something I missed in your other video about critical save and triage. thanks Marco! P.S. About the hackers. I watched the white chaos interview video with a hacker should goes on to describe how easy it is and how he's been doing it for ever and massive ither takes weeks or never does anything about it. I'm going to chalk it up to them focusing all there funds and man power on fixing bugs and pushing out content. But I do fear it will get to a point where people don't want to dark zone anymore because of it, then they'll have to put everything on hold to deal with it. they should tap WoW's Watchdog.

Well I presume one's anticipating judgement is likely to be based on how one assesses 1.4 for PVE... Have you done a video on 1.4 and 1.5 now they have been around for some time? I'd like... to be beg to differ probably.

What do you mean? The other sets are actually really good lol no one realizes it though...4 piece lonestar is amazing because of the fact that you don't need to reload at all. 4 piece tactician is the best support build in the game, idk why Marco didn't use tactician for the healer build versus the reclaimer, I kinda don't see reclaimer ever being better than tactician. 3 striker 2 sentry and barret's chest is amazing as well, 3 striker, barret's chest, savage gloves, and ferro's mask is all really nice together..4 piece sentry, decisive gloves, bliss holster with assault shield basically melts enemies so fast.....you gotta realize there are so many really good builds still but everyone is so focused on alphabridge.

I'd like to see you make a build centred around tanking in cover. High-End talents Robust on the Chestpiece and Sturdy on the Holster give you extra armour when in cover. Increased my armour from around 50% to 64%. 350k toughness to 500k+ after the needed 4 seconds for the Sturdy talent paired with Robust. Pairing that with Smart Cover might make you very difficult to take down, but I haven't tried it yet. I'm still trying to think which gear set to pair it with.
Why did you put weapon mods with accuracy and stability? Because those are nerfing the damage that uncomplicated is giving you. Or am I missing something? :D
@Marcostyle the Golden Build is still stronger and more Dmg then Alpha. Vigorous Chest, Specialized Backpack, Refreshed Mask, Championship Knee Pads, Skull MC Gloves, Steadfast Holster. i have a 471k Toughness 55% armor with 7k+ stamina and use the FAMAS as the primary with Destructive + Unforgiving + Uncomplicated and have 360k+ starting DPS i'll make a video and post a link for ya

I know that alphabridge is good but now that every one is running it I wanted something different so I'm focusing on something else that produce stat effects on players (having 4 pieces pred a ferros oxygen mask and even having intense on your primary) cause for the few times I've 1v1 or 1vMany in the dz I've found it game changing according to my play style ( also I'm a console player )... what do you think could a stat effect focused build for pvp top the Alpha build?
Same here but I noticed something.. the FAMAS has a really low base damage. The boost you get from uncomplicated brings it up to par with other Assault riffles so you don't really benefit from it. I might be wrong tho.
As always very solid build Macro, but somehow PVP in its current state or the way armor works in PvP feels somewhat inconsistent atm. We've been running similar solo builds that yields relatively similar results yet we've encountered individuals that will decimate us in a few hits while taking very little dmg from us despite having a 58% armor penetration over 340k base DPS over 400k toughness with 54% mitigation plus a Barrets chest (extra 10% toughness ) and in most encounters were pretty sure that those buffs that increase resistance werent procked. Would love to hear your thoughts on this.
Haha I use something like this can proc myself to 3.650.000~ toughness...... 10 seconds of invincibility add in a tac alt and you are gold..... Btw Marco love your vids keep it up mate
@MarcoStyle I highly doubt this will get any notice but could you do an LMG build. I have been playing with them a lot but putting something together has been challenge and It would be cool if you found a good build for PVP/PVE
If the point is to survive, wouldn't barret chest + refreshed mask be better? Your skills are constantly on cooldown, and a +10% armor seems better than a little bit more of healing with specialized backpack.
@MarcoStyle, where do I get a hold of any blueprints for Prototype stamina mods? I basically have the same build as you Im just missing that edge on the stamina...
If using the healer build wouldn't strike back be even better than combat medic?? Since you would be providing more heals essentially. Or does Strike back, triage and critical save only proc solo when using a medkit in the last bar?? Sorry, 1 more question. Wouldn't using a shield build with BS DMR mods be pretty good for solo players also?? I mean the mods offer 20% ADR 100% of the time that you have the shield deployed. Therefore, its like procing On the move and critical save every time you heal yourself in the last bar of health. Ultra tanky with booster shot. 75% ADR just for timing the medkit properly. Yes, your movement is restricted but for console players I believe this is a viable SOLO build. Any thoughts?
how about Refreshed/Rapid instead of Specialized? Thoughts? Worth sacrificing the additional SP to reduce heal cooldowns? Seems like maybe you'd have to spec into Elec/Sp a tad more to be worth it so kind of a wash? idk..
Kane TheOne you'd have to look at your stats and see how much that 15% bonus of rapid is gonna help. Personally I'd go with specialized. Free skill power.
I prefer u make a video about how to optimize all the gear types. OR! a different approach to alpha thata build toward a support role. utilizing the skill power talent
need to get this lol, right now im using 3 peice Lone Star and 2 piece nomad, with one reclaimer, dps is alright but toughness could be better, 230k DPS/330k Toughness/100K Skill
Marco do you have any info on the difference in damage between armor pen vs damage out of cover or flat increases from competent in PvP? Is destructive better than competent? I haven't seen a tier list for talents. So if you can't get these ___ talents then is a 3 piece pred/striker better because the 8% dmg from pred and 10% armor pen from striker. Obviously you'll be squishier without refreshed mask.
not hopping on the barrett band wagon but i'm curious if you considered it while making this build. i gotta say, this looks like it would be a lot stronger. all that time spent grinding for one and i can't find a use for it. maybe an all high end build?

313k dps, 466k toughness and 116k electronics vs. MarcoStyles 124k, 490k and 118k. Close enough I would say :-)

The other sets are actually really good lol no one realizes it though...4 piece lonestar is amazing because of the fact that you don't need to reload at all. 4 piece tactician is the best support build in the game, idk why Marco didn't use tactician for the healer build versus the reclaimer, I kinda don't see reclaimer ever being better than tactician. 3 striker 2 sentry and barret's chest is amazing as well, 3 striker, barret's chest, savage gloves, and ferro's mask is all really nice together..4 piece sentry, decisive gloves, bliss holster with assault shield basically melts enemies so fast.....you gotta realize there are so many really good builds still but everyone is so focused on alphabridge.

I'd like to see you make a build centred around tanking in cover. High-End talents Robust on the Chestpiece and Sturdy on the Holster give you extra armour when in cover. Increased my armour from around 50% to 64%. 350k toughness to 500k+ after the needed 4 seconds for the Sturdy talent paired with Robust. Pairing that with Smart Cover might make you very difficult to take down, but I haven't tried it yet. I'm still trying to think which gear set to pair it with.

Why did you put weapon mods with accuracy and stability? Because those are nerfing the damage that uncomplicated is giving you. Or am I missing something? :D

@Marcostyle the Golden Build is still stronger and more Dmg then Alpha. Vigorous Chest, Specialized Backpack, Refreshed Mask, Championship Knee Pads, Skull MC Gloves, Steadfast Holster. i have a 471k Toughness 55% armor with 7k+ stamina and use the FAMAS as the primary with Destructive + Unforgiving + Uncomplicated and have 360k+ starting DPS i'll make a video and post a link for ya

I know that alphabridge is good but now that every one is running it I wanted something different so I'm focusing on something else that produce stat effects on players (having 4 pieces pred a ferros oxygen mask and even having intense on your primary) cause for the few times I've 1v1 or 1vMany in the dz I've found it game changing according to my play style ( also I'm a console player )... what do you think could a stat effect focused build for pvp top the Alpha build?

Same here but I noticed something.. the FAMAS has a really low base damage. The boost you get from uncomplicated brings it up to par with other Assault riffles so you don't really benefit from it. I might be wrong tho.
Yup me too, and loving it, got me & my mate run all high ends we do great, don't need Alpha to do well.

As always very solid build Macro, but somehow PVP in its current state or the way armor works in PvP feels somewhat inconsistent atm. We've been running similar solo builds that yields relatively similar results yet we've encountered individuals that will decimate us in a few hits while taking very little dmg from us despite having a 58% armor penetration over 340k base DPS over 400k toughness with 54% mitigation plus a Barrets chest (extra 10% toughness ) and in most encounters were pretty sure that those buffs that increase resistance werent procked. Would love to hear your thoughts on this.
Haha I use something like this can proc myself to 3.650.000~ toughness...... 10 seconds of invincibility add in a tac alt and you are gold..... Btw Marco love your vids keep it up mate
@MarcoStyle I highly doubt this will get any notice but could you do an LMG build. I have been playing with them a lot but putting something together has been challenge and It would be cool if you found a good build for PVP/PVE
If the point is to survive, wouldn't barret chest + refreshed mask be better? Your skills are constantly on cooldown, and a +10% armor seems better than a little bit more of healing with specialized backpack.

If using the healer build wouldn't strike back be even better than combat medic?? Since you would be providing more heals essentially. Or does Strike back, triage and critical save only proc solo when using a medkit in the last bar?? Sorry, 1 more question. Wouldn't using a shield build with BS DMR mods be pretty good for solo players also?? I mean the mods offer 20% ADR 100% of the time that you have the shield deployed. Therefore, its like procing On the move and critical save every time you heal yourself in the last bar of health. Ultra tanky with booster shot. 75% ADR just for timing the medkit properly. Yes, your movement is restricted but for console players I believe this is a viable SOLO build. Any thoughts?
how about Refreshed/Rapid instead of Specialized? Thoughts? Worth sacrificing the additional SP to reduce heal cooldowns? Seems like maybe you'd have to spec into Elec/Sp a tad more to be worth it so kind of a wash? idk..
Kane TheOne you'd have to look at your stats and see how much that 15% bonus of rapid is gonna help. Personally I'd go with specialized. Free skill power.

Marco do you have any info on the difference in damage between armor pen vs damage out of cover or flat increases from competent in PvP? Is destructive better than competent? I haven't seen a tier list for talents. So if you can't get these ___ talents then is a 3 piece pred/striker better because the 8% dmg from pred and 10% armor pen from striker. Obviously you'll be squishier without refreshed mask.
not hopping on the barrett band wagon but i'm curious if you considered it while making this build. i gotta say, this looks like it would be a lot stronger. all that time spent grinding for one and i can't find a use for it. maybe an all high end build?
hey man, i have competent, responsive unforgiving in my first gun (already calibrated) while the second one has vicious deadly destructive . which talent should i remove from the second one? Also is EDR still a meaningful stat for a chest piece? Thanks!

Marco, would this also work on Banshee? with the two gold pieces as Banshee will give me 10% more / 10% less dmg when rogue or non rogue.
