MarcoStyle dude this is what I have been waiting for. This is the type of guide I have been searching for. As a new division player I am nearly lost and it is taking me a bit to realize what you have just informed me. My mind is blown away. Thank you very much so glad I subscribe. When your done with weapons any chance you can do the same in depth guide for armors. I'm still not a lvl 30 but I'll get there so I might as well have the knowledge. Once again, thank you soooooooo much for this video!!!!
Really interesting in-depth analysis of weapon mods, very well done ! Please keep on doing the same for other weapon types, you bring so much value on the table, thanks !
yea just watched again and it help shine a lot of light on the nuances of the game. I've been playing the game for about a month and it's quite confusing with all the variables possible so again thank you and please more of this type of video
AWESOME!!!!!!!!!! One of the best videos I have seen yet. It's so darn hard to data mine and get all the info players should be given for a game. Your roll ranges help a lot. Thanks.
This is probably one of your best videos. The amount of data and critical think helps a lot on this game, and we have to thank you for doing these kind of videos :) Also I haven't seen any guides on how to mode weapons on this patch, so this is so usefull
I love this extra bit of information. I'm looking very much forward to your next few videos with build break downs for the remaining weapons. So all-in-all, I hope your test video proves successful.
Marco even if I don't agree with 100% (more likely 95%) you kinda opened my eyes in my stereotype of weapon talents rolling. Because - no matter what - I always go Responsive, Destructive and Brutal combinde with Stability mods on the weapon due to my agrresive game style. But your video forced me to go and write all that on a sheet of the paper. And guess what - I was wrong. By changing Brutal (12%) for Stable(35%) on the weapon I can get roughly 12% Stability increase together with 14% Critical Damage + I can get enough of Headshot Damage (11-12% in my case) to ballance out my Brutal talent. So, I know you pretty much from the begining since I started with The Division, but thanks to THIS video you've earned my sub mate. Regards, Carrier !
great job Marco. I absolutely love when someone backs up their opinions with cold hard stats. hate videos that say something is the best and do not prove why the think that. appreciate ur hard work.
Hey man I'm a first time viewer, and that was a great video! Great break down, proper explanations and smooth transitions. I came back to the Division after 1.5 and was always frustrated feeling like my gun set ups weren't optimal. All you hear is people telling you what to run and not why. So this was a huge help in terms of understanding how everything broke down in-game. Look forward to checking out your other videos.
Marco, great video again mate. Really love the screenshot you have given. Thanks for taking the time to do this. Your making things easier for me to understand in this game :)
Great Video Marco. Your recommended mods is exactly what I'm already using. This video confirms I'm on the right track on my character build. I still have more experimenting to do though. Cheers
Love it Marco! Thank you for making this as I'm a little out of touch as I ordered my copy 2 years pre-release for xbox one! Now I'm on PC! Can't wait for the rest :)
Finally the video I was craving for, well done, this will help me so much! Great graphics, super clear and precise. YES, please do that again for the other weapon types.
Thank you !!!! More tutorials with such deep approach please ! Other weapon types are wanted. Amazing analytics. Thank you ! And @Blinxs are right ! Your motion design style and flow are delightful ! As a professional motion designer, I enjoyed every transitions/compositions ! :) Perfect !
Great video as usual. Thanks Marco. I was trying to figure it all out but it was a complex puzzle. I'd definitely be interested in the other weapon types.
One of best videos since I play this game ! (middle September). I needed this soooo much :D can't wait for 1.5 on ps4. But you gave me reason to login before it drops to check what I've got in my inventory Zie je later!
we need videos like this since i am a PVEr i always try to get my assault rifle to do the most it can do against elites, thanks for making it and i hope you keep doing it, even to the pistols :)
MrKINGREX2000 I have a AK74 with ferocious, destructive, and prepared...with 27.6K base and it absolutely MELTS NPC characters...look for a good AK74. Also the stability is also super good in the AK74. Highest base damage too.
Just have to admire the production value of your videos those overlay animations alone I'm sure took some time and from the looks of it seems to be done from scratch. Great vid Macro very informative as always.
great video Marco. I totally understand your point of view and would agree completely if this was for an smg but it seems backwards for ar's. assault rifles can be quite unsteady especially on a console. I'm sure I'm not the only one who holds down the trigger longer than I should to try to kill an npc who is about to kill me. because of this stability should be the top choice instead of hs damage. again like many people I'm sure even if I aim for the head at least 1/3 to 1/2 of my shots miss especially if I'm more than 20 meters from the npc and their moving. my landing percentage is much higher in the body from any decent range. also since stable isn't a thing anymore unless I'm confused then the tallent steady hands and striker 2 peices are the only other options for stability. the reason I feel striker 2 peices isn't worth it is because of the other bonuses I am missing out on like specialized for stronger skills, sturdy or robust for more tankyness, vigorous and booster shot, barrett's vest for many perks, and other combos not mentioned here. I know these for the most part don't increase dps except specialized and pulse but if I'm missing the head shots I don't get dps either. now about skills it's crazy to think one would opt for accurate and "stable" if we had it over destructive, ferocious, responsive, prepared, vicious, unforgiving. Even a skill talent like adept or talented paired with savage, specialized and a pulse and all the shots are way stronger to every shot landed even if I manage to get a head shot once and a while. just my 2 cents. anyways another good video Marco. I can't wait to see the others
This is great! Please do make other videos for the other archetypes. I'm particularly interested in MMRs and LMGs, though SMGs would also be cool. It doesn't really matter which you do next though as long as you do all of them. As always, great editing too.
Great video Marcostyle. With so many mods it's very hard to figure out which is best. Your video made it simple to understand. Please find the time to cover the rest, preferably the smg & LMG next. Keep up the great work 👍
Marco! I know we've had our differences in the past, but I just had to look at this video to see what kind of info you're giving on this subject. So I'm running an insane alpha bridge build! Let me preface why my build is amazing by saying a few things: - I find that I'm not using my skills as often in 1.5 as I did previously. - When I first looked at the Famas, I saw such low base damage that I thought it was kind of garbage. Then I realized the talent in the 3rd slot increased damage by 15% but you had to deal with that high fire rate without any stability mods or risk decreasing that talent. So what I did was get my favorite assault rifle with reasonably high base damage and that is naturally stable and accurate. Yeah man... I'm talking about the G36! (standard, military, enhanced, the model really doesn't make a difference). So I'm running Brutal, Responsive, and Focused on that G36. Since I don't use my skills all that much, especially when I'm in a group, Focused is usually active. Then a week or two ago there was a sweet Famas in the meat locker safehouse that I bought several of. I rolled them all in different ways. I have several that are still the same and I haven't rolled at all. I have one that I rolled destructive for Deadly. Another that I rolled Destructive for Predatory, another that I rolled Unforgiving for deadly and so on and so forth. So when I go PvP, I run with a Famas that either has Deadly, Unforgiving, Uncomplicated or Destructive, Unforgiving, Uncomplicated. So in essence my Alpha Bridge build is giving me a G36 with 21.3k base damage and 6 talents: Brutal, Deadly, Responsive, Unforgiving, Focused, Uncomplicated. or trade out Deadly for Destructive. And that's my PvP build. For PvE I like to have Predatory. Makes for some nice health regen especially with the 100% health regen of the Alpha Bridge build. Now I just need to get Barret's Bullet Proof Vest and I'll have a very nice build that allows me to get different bonuses based on having skills on cooldown. Overall, this build is sweet because all I wanted was to get Uncomplicated on my G36 so that I could have an AR with high base damage, no need for stability mods and a talent that boosts my damage 15% for not having stability mods. Trust me, it melts people in the DZ!
Excellent video mate. I like how you make the difficult simple. it's really helped me improve my game. currently grinding for all the phones Intel and drone pics but will be using this video to help when I get cracking on PVP. Cheers
Agreed. Hes one of the most helpful Division youtubers. Whats great about this particular video is that not only does it give you good choices for mods, he explains the maths behind the mods, so you can learn to make your own good decisions too. Before I watched this, the mod values seemed totally random.. .now I have a picture of how they are formed, and how best to milk the max stats boosts.
Really well done video like always! Thank you for this, the mods on the weapons is what confused me the most. I look forward to the other weapon videos ^^
Excellent video, I use AR primarily and have been looking for a guide like this. Thank you very much as it will help me out greatly. Looking forward to a Marksman rifle soon hopefully. :-)
This is an excellent video! I don't think you would need to make a video of this kind for other weapon types because it should be pretty explanatory after this one... Unless something crazy changes with a patch.
Fantastic video. Absolutely do the other classes, although there is enough info to figure out the other types using the reasoning you use for this video.
Awesome video as always Marco. Please, please, please do all the weapons. From a parent that doesn't have a lot of time on his hands, one would think that you were holding my hand, to that I say, so what . You can hold them both. Keep it coming, you got my like as always thank you. (edited): spelling, I was voice to texting
Ya....this video is very true and correct IF you are on a PC...but playing on PS4 I can tell you that focus fire on headshots just isn't possible or worthwhile to attempt. This is why I suggest modding for crit chance/crit damage with headshot damage as one of the minor stats on scope/surpressor
Sorry if I sound like a fan boy, but the only thing I don't like about your videos is that there are not more of them. The attention to detail is something you can not find anywhere else. I would watch a 27 minute video on BIS side arm weapon skins. I'm kidding of course, because you would post a pic of the best within the first couple minutes for those of us with short attention spans. Keep up the great work. I ran a tach skillpower build in 1.3 something that would have never blipped on my radar if it wasn't for your exhausting dedication to number crunching. The division can get overwhelming at times trying to create the best player you can be and after awhile you just feel like "screw it let's just go shoot shit"
Try the military G36 in 1.5 and you will be amazed over how accurate it is during a full mag spray. I'd say it's the best weapon overall at the moment. Great video btw (y)!
This is why I subbed
So much effort put in this video and it turned out detailed as fuck aswell
Love it
This is such a good video. It is so easy to follow and so clear. Teachers could learn something from you man. Goed gedaan!
Fantastic video, really helpful. Would be great if you do do the same for the other weapon types.
MarcoStyle really good video man
MarcoStyle dude this is what I have been waiting for.
This video is a work of art. Thanks Marco. So glad you are part of this community.
The first video for which I have given a like in a long while, this was amazing, thank you for your effort!
This video is extremely well made! Love the visuals along with the quick yet easy to understand explanation. More like this!
All weapon types would be nice too!
New players might fight this video confusing but I love the breakdown of these videos, best uality on YT
AWESOME!!!!!!!!!! One of the best videos I have seen yet. It's so darn hard to data mine and get all the info players should be given for a game. Your roll ranges help a lot. Thanks.
I like your videos because they are well produced, and aided with smooth, helpful graphical animations. Also, I'm liking this new series!

One of the best guide ever watched. Been farming for a while but thanks to this guide will build a PVE set. Thanks again for this awesome guide mate
I never give aways likes in videos, but the part where you sum it up everything on the 1:24 mark was gold, pure gold . Have a like good sir
Since returning for 1.5 I was hoping to find a video series like this - Would love to see one for every weapon/gear type if possible!
Actually so much respect for your editing, must've taken ages to get everything looking as good as it does.
Marco even if I don't agree with 100% (more likely 95%) you kinda opened my eyes in my stereotype of weapon talents rolling. Because - no matter what - I always go Responsive, Destructive and Brutal combinde with Stability mods on the weapon due to my agrresive game style. Best video on modding assault rifles I have seen online. You the man Marco!
Marco, great video again mate. Really love the screenshot you have given. Thanks for taking the time to do this. Your making things easier for me to understand in this game :)
Keep making these videos! I just got back into the game yesterday and this was made so cleanly. It also was very informative and easy to understand.
Great Video Marco. Your recommended mods is exactly what I'm already using. This video confirms I'm on the right track on my character build. I still have more experimenting to do though. Cheers
This is the way i been modding my lmg's sinds patch 1.4, nice to see my thoughts confirmed. Nice video dude, keep em comming
Thank you SO much for that one picture that sums it all up 1.30ish into the video :)
You come with facts.... Nothing is better than facts. I appreciate your attention to detail! My build is a tribute to guys like you. Thanks bro.
Exactly what I've been looking for! More videos like this please, Marco.
Great guide, the uploaded photo for further reference was a classy touch. Thanks
Great video as usual. Thanks Marco. I was trying to figure it all out but it was a complex puzzle. I'd definitely be interested in the other weapon types.

Same here. I have 2 AKs that destroy PvE, and paired with one of the 2 LVOAs I carry for alphabridge, things just vaporize in front of the muzzle =)
MrKINGREX2000 To do the most against elites that usually depends how you spec your armor stack extra damage to elites
MrKINGREX2000 To do the most against elites that usually depends how you spec your armor stack extra damage to elites
I need to say again, that I love how much effort you put into your videos, keep up the good work Marco! ^^

The quality is amazing

The timing on this video is perfect, man. I was looking for the right AR mods today. Thank you!! LMG next?
Awesome analytics. Well presented. Looking forward to seeing similar vids for the other weapon types in the future.
Excellent video mate. I like how you make the difficult simple. it's really helped me improve my game. currently grinding for all the phones Intel and drone pics but will be using this video to help when I get cracking on PVP. Cheers
Nice editing work! You can tell you took the time to make a great video, can't wait for the rest of the weapons!
Very well done video. The Stat range breakdown was awesome!
Thank you MarcoStyle! As always top notch. Keep up the great work!
Awesome job Marco! Can't wait for the LMG and SMG MOD video!
As always detailed analysis superbly presented, well done. Respect.
A very nicely done guide as always Marco! Thanks for your precious tips!
PLEASE make more videos like these! Not only does it help me make my gear better, but I love the way you explain the stats it helps a lot!
how does this channel not have 1 million subs already this guy cleverly insane lol . just subbed
Agreed. Hes one of the most helpful Division youtubers. Whats great about this particular video is that not only does it give you good choices for mods, he explains the maths behind the mods, so you can learn to make your own good decisions too.

I couldn't agree more Charles Manson lol I got the game a month ago and I myself couldn't understand the concept on how it worked . But now I do
This is a great series. Can't wait to hear your next thoughts on other weapons.
Really well done video like always! Thank you for this, the mods on the weapons is what confused me the most. I look forward to the other weapon videos ^^
Thanks Man And Apperciate The Effort U Actually Did The Video When I Asked For It In A Comment . . . U R Amazing Bro . . . Keep It Up
This is exactly what I was looking for! Thank you so much. Great video, and I look forward to the other weapon types too..
As always, Marco, Excellent video and well appreciated!
I appreciate your time and effort Marco, kudos to you!
the Way it goes, yes. Thanks Marco.
Marco this is without a doubt one of your best vids!!!
I really enjoy video. I like your theory and math arguments for what take and what let leave. Really. Great, looking forward for sequel
Excellent video, I use AR primarily and have been looking for a guide like this. Thank you very much as it will help me out greatly. Looking forward to a Marksman rifle soon hopefully. :-)
Thanks alot for the assault Rifle, "Best in Slot" video. Appreciated!
Cheers
Really useful. Thanx Marco. Yes, more video of this kind please!
Your the best Marco, one of the BEST youtubers for content .
keep it up! i really like this kind of video. for my assault rifle, i put mods to improve mag size, stability and those critical hit damage
good stuff. please keep it to separate videos for each weapon type... this is what iv been looking for since launch
This is an excellent video! I don't think you would need to make a video of this kind for other weapon types because it should be pretty explanatory after this one... Unless something crazy changes with a patch.
I haven't watched it yet, but I'm about to and I can say that I appreciate it already because this will be helpful. Thanks!
Great video as always and would love to see more in the series. Next in line should be LMGs due to their popularity and damage,
been waiting for a video like this since release
you really put detail in your work, keep up the good job
Great video; thank you for your shared knowledge!! LMG next please!
Great Video. I got the logic as it is explained very well. Many thanks and keep them coming.
Thanks Marco - Great Advice! Please do Marksman Rifles next (specifically bolt action rifles like the M44, M700, and SRS A1).
M700 Carbon is a BEAST
StrongOaker pretty much sums up the comparison.
StrongOaker
what's the difference between the M700 and the M700 carbon ?
Carbon can have a grip, tactical cannot but it has higher base dmg. Others arent worth using tbh
Bhusta Cap
Oh i see ! thanks
Fantastic stuff as always Marcostyle! Keep it up buddy!
Hey Marco, I wish I could like this video multiple times! Keep up the awesome content mate :)
Great guide bro, very informative. I would love to see this for the other weapons.
Best video yet Marco, thank you!
Fantastic video. Absolutely do the other classes, although there is enough info to figure out the other types using the reasoning you use for this video.
Thank you! Needed a vid like these to understand what to look for
Great stuff Marco. Go ahead and do all the other weapon archetypes!
Great video, please do more but at your own pace and time. Don't burn yourself out on these, but this video helps my understanding a lot.
Great design! Great video and lot of stats, LOVE IT. Thanks!
Love the video Marco. I'd watch one for each weapon type.
Great video! Thanks for all the hard work. Look forward to the next one for smg and lmg
Nice, keep these guides coming. Thanks!
Very good video. Nice and clean editing! Good job, I hope more guides for other weapons will follow. ;)
Haven't watched yet, but so thank you for this! Please do every weapon class!
Keep it in parts, each weapon should have its own video. Thats a much better way to organize your data, and great work!
Ya....this video is very true and correct IF you are on a PC...but playing on PS4 I can tell you that focus fire on headshots just isn't possible or worthwhile to attempt. This is why I suggest modding for crit chance/crit damage with headshot damage as one of the minor stats on scope/surpressor

honestly its a pretty good video thanks a lot for it waiting for the Lmgs one

Try the military G36 in 1.5 and you will be amazed over how accurate it is during a full mag spray. I'd say it's the best weapon overall at the moment. Great video btw (y)!
