Beautiful! One of the best video game themes ever! That melody is so iconic! The feelings and emotions in this song are so powerful! Love it! I especially like how you programmed the drums, they really keep a tight and heavy groove throughout the whole track. 👍
The main theme is packed with the very things that make for a epic orchestral theme. Everything from the strings, the harps, etc helps create the feeling your traveling through space and taking in its grandness before you. One of my all-time favorite themes in video games too. Soo glad you enjoyed it! And thanks!
Man, this is just superb! What a special and powerful theme this is, and this gave me literal goosebumps listening to it. Seriously, I'm looking at the hairs on my arms right now, and they're standing up on end. It's clear that you put a tremendous amount of effort and care into this remix, in creating an instrumentation with the dynamics and overall feel the made the original so impactful and memorable. I absolutely love the string sounds you're able to create, how they sound faithful to the original SNES string sound, but more modern and high-quality. The reverb you applied definitely scratches that nostalgic itch for the iconic synth heard in Star Fox, A Link to the Past, and other classics. You really have an intimate understanding of what makes these timeless tracks so good, and everything, from the faithful snare drum and timpani rhythms, to the new additions (e.g., those lovely harp-sounding strums first heard at 0:43)... it just works together incredibly well. That part at 1:44 just completely got me, with those beautiful harmonies and the nod to the end credits theme - so good!! 😭 Seriously, man, your music never ceases to make me smile when listening. Fantastic work, as always!! :D
