I went to school with two sets of twins. I also worked with twins. They were the last of SEVEN!! The family lore was that when dad found out that Mommy possibly was pregnant again, he was a little bit fidgety... However, when he found out that they were the third set of twins. He started to cry hysterically. They all turned out well and have taken their parents on many very nice vacations with the massive family of... 34! Fingers crossed for you to also have a very full house.
I am praying for you guys! We struggled with secondary infertility after our first. 7.5 years of trying, 7 miscarriages, countless tears, fertility treatments, laparoscopic surgery, nothing. Then all of a sudden, about a year and a half after the surgery.. I got pregnant with our second. Had another loss when he was young, and the next month got pregnant with our spontaneous identical twins (our 26 weekers). I’m so glad you noticed an issue quickly. Looking forward to your pregnancy announcement, when it’s time. Sending hugs!
The information you've shared is likely to help many couples have the family they are hoping for. I think stress is a big factor in most problems with our bodies. Thank you. I'm saving this to send to someone who is thinking about getting pregnant, lives a very demanding and stressful life with her career, and is in her mid thirties. Seems like if anyone can figure it out, it's someone like you! Best wishes😊
Fellow PCOS sister here! I too struggled with ovulation, irregular cycles and stress levels ever since i was a teen. After having a miscarriage last year I did not have a cycle for 6 months until I changed my lifestyle and started taking myo & d-Chiro inositol for a month and a half… and got pregnant on the first try. I truly believe the supplement was the reason I ovulated so quickly. Some things that i believe helped;changing my workout routines from high intensity to Pilates and yoga (putting less stress on my body)low carb high protein diet and lots of antioxidant foods. Praying for you and your growing family🥺🙏🏼❤️
I took clomid for infertility! I had a singleton baby. Then we wanted another and had to do clomid again and we got twins! Really anything can happen! Thinking of you guys!
Dear Katie, you and your family are so beautiful. Those boys are so lucky ❤ we had also a secondary infertility, and the moment i accepted our family of 3 and took a vacation by the sea, i got pregnant. Relax and let miracles happen. ❤ i have also issues with PCOS and i have recently started taking Inositol and my skin got acne free again. Maybe its worth researching for you. Best wishes and good luck❤
So so sorry you’re going through this. I had struggles with my first pregnancy so I can relate. This might be too off the cuff BUT I am a girl with older twin brothers and I legit hate our sibling dynamic. I also know another person who was the baby after twins and they hated it. My brothers were and still are extremely close, I grew up feeling like an outsider and still have those wounds. You could consider just sticking with your twins or if you need more have 4 kids. The twins +1 dynamic isn’t ideal I can tell you
I tried for years to get pregnant after my twins and actually did get pregnant but miscarriages came every time but I had miscarriages before the twins. I wish you the best of luck
This is something I always am curious about, since we're built from vitamins, minerals and amino acids etc. Without them our body will be in a form of survival mode so pregnancy isn't something that the body will necessarily be prepared for. I'm trying to figure out what deficiencies I have, since I don't have PCOS. I do have pernicious anemia, an inability to absorb vitamin B12, so without enough B12 pregnancy is difficult. Since I self-inject my B12 should be fine plus I take the other nutrients that B12 requires. I just wonder what else it could be. I haven't been on any birth control for well over 10 years, and I only took it for about 4 years. I wonder if Katie has had her active B12 and homocysteine levels tested. Wishing everyone all the best with their fertility journey. I'm 34 and I feel like I'll probably never have children. My partner and I haven't used condoms for years.
Are your cycles regular? I was told I had PCOS like 10 years ago but cycles are regular & always ovulate (I also track my cycles). No partner or kids yet, but want to plan for the future.
Why were you told that? Was it because of high testosterone in blood work or they saw cysts on your ovaries (ultrasound)? Those would be some for-sure signs of PCOS
I took clomid, pregnant 2nd round. Letrozole fell pregnant a few rounds in along with trigger shot. 5 years later, 6 pregnancies and we have a healthy boy.
For all the PCOS people out there - it’s actually globally recognized as an intersex condition. You are an Intersex person! America for some reason thinks it’s taboo to talk about that - but other countries are farther ahead in accepting this reality.
IF U HAVE SO MUCH STRESS U NEED TOMOVE AND HIRE AU PAIR GOD MIGHT BE TELLING U THAT 2 KIDS IS ENUFF. BE THANKFUL FOR WHAT U HAVE. WHY STRESS SO HARD OVER HAVING MORE KIDS?

Did the doctors suggest to check out overall vitamin and mineral deficiency if any?
Be gentle and take care of yourself 😊

You are a super mom.

@@abigailjensen3850 no tests 🤣 it was a dermatologist (not even qualified to diagnose) - she saw my little chin hairs and my little high BMI

Check out Dr Ray Peat's "From PMS to Menopause" .
