This video is fantastic! You've done an amazing job capturing the property with such precision and smoothness. The DJI Avata really shines here, and you’ve showcased its capabilities perfectly. The footage is stunning, and it’s clear how this drone can take real estate videos to the next level. Well done!
As always I appreciate the time you put into this high quality video. But I have to respectfully disagree with you on this one. The video quality is not even close to a GoPro so there for I will not be selling my old gear. I agree there are some advantages to the Avata but my squirt is better in so many ways. If I am hired to film a video for a client I want to offer the best quality possible. Great content my friend.
Is it not worth it to put a GoPro on top? I'll have to check out some videos how how people are managing this solution. sidenote, it's funny we are talking about "best possible quality" and GoPro in the same sentence for videography 😆
The dji avata has 118* wide lens. But it dosent has the slow movement like the mini 4 pro, but mini 4pro dosent have a wide angle lens i believe its 84* wide Would you still recommend the mini 4 pro?
Sean, I love your self-confidence and your passion to contact 500 luxury home owners and offer a cool video before you have even proven to yourself that you can produce great results. This challenges me! By the way, what the hell is "gyroflow" and how is it used with the Avata? I keep seeing video comments where people say that you need this to produce stable video.
Gyro flow is a web application you download and put your footage into and it stabilizes it. It’s awesome for avata footage and I believe it’s free or a donate, can’t remember, been using it for awhile. Cheers Oh, great videos Sean, love your work and your lessons. Cheers as well.
@OneShotDroneTours wow thanks, it was really hard. may i know how do you remove lighting flicker inside a house, i have set in avata 2 settings flickering to auto but still got flickers since i record it in 60fps. is there way to remove it in post?
What is better to use normal camera with horizon steady or Wide without EIS and stabilize in gyro... Only thong what for me is not so good in gyro is zooming when you are close to object and turning with drone, and if i disable zoom i need to crop video to be like normal camera... Im in debt...
Awesome video! This is exactly what I was thinking of using the Avata for and the fact that it flies slower, smoother, and at a consistent flight is really selling to me! I just gotta save up for it now :)
After a couple of outdoor flights i disabled stabilisation and now only use gyroflow with the avata with that i can combine normal stabilisation and horizon lock in post production
@@SeanAlami i just did my first indoor shots and the normal mode is a beast. Only problem is if the gps signal is shady drone slows down or speeds up unexpectedly when it restores or loses gps connection. It is not a big deal but I had to slow down and speed up my videos sometimes. I am originally an fpv pilot and started indoor shots with my protek25 pusher after my 5" freestyle drone. I still love the smoothsness of manual flight. I will play with the rates to make avata more responsive for my abilities to use indoors. At this moment I cant dare the manual mode in small houses like mine. Thanks for all the info. You sold me on avata before I bought it when I was still struggling to carry a gopro on a small 2.5 inch drone with 2 minutes flight times because of the weight. This thing ia aqesome, I can have several fly throughs with 1 battery and just choose the best one.
Why comparing acro mode on an FPV drone with horizon mode of the Avata? Or in other words, why not use horizon mode on the FPV drone? Makes a lot more sense in my view for real estate... The Avata is for sure not a bad drone, but what I don't like are the propriatary battries, which are quite pricey and I don´t like the DJI controller (non of them). Maybe I'm too old, but I prefer the classic style radios, best with a handrest which give me most control.
Awesome video! When I've tried to take off indoors in relatively small environments my avata goes a little crazy. I was wondering if you have ever taken off indoors? I've noticed that most RE videos of the Avata start off outside and then fly indoors. Wonder if that makes a difference. Thanks for the video!
just bought mine days ago, just cant get a normal flight in virtual liftoff...I'm always crashing, my brain isnt' catching how to fly this. Isn't easy as advertised in RUclipsrs videos.
The avata is very unreliable indoors. Unless I’m doing something wrong… it will randomly drift/speed up. If not for this problem, I would have nothing bad to say about the avata
If you can do a real estate video of gopro hero 10 or 11 on avata, that would be a great help. how Avata will handle the weight through tight spaces. Thanks for the video
For documenting or recording or be creative. What you are not doing is filming. Digital Video is so much more. It's what film wishes it was. You know how to fly it you just don't know how it works. Film and digital video require different skill sets. Different historical timelines. :-)
It is a good drone overall but the noise is a serious detraction from its utility. It is louder than every other DJI drone. It will bring the drone Karens to you and make your life miserable.

We have found that adding a GoPro to the Avata produces major vibration issues on the GoPro. The vibrations literally make the GoPro footage unusable.
For the avata camera you can use gyroflow, its a game changer. For the gopro you can buy or make naked gopro so it wont have any problems :)

yea man.. Gyroflo is pretty bad ass... great video.. and thanks for the hookup with ep.sound
Need to try it
Would you be cool with making a video talking about the flight control settings you used and whether you loosened/tightened the control sticks?
Muchas gracias !! great vid
This handsome man should have 100k😍
🙏🏻🙏🏻
This video was Outstanding!!!! I learned a lot man. I am a new Sub for sure.

Great video Sean. You're quality is amazing.
Thank you man
Great video! You are correct about the importance of sound over video quality.

@@vpimaging Thank you, since posting I have purchased the Avata and downloaded Gyroflow. It is a very effective stabilizing tool, and so easy to use!
Nice and interesting video; good work bro!
Appreciate it!
Great video. Can you fly indoors in normal mode without locking satellites?
Yes u can
Great video as usual, super helpful, thank you 🙏🏻
🙏🏻
Excellent flying/ shooting. This should go viral!
did you use an ND filter on the avata? if so which settings?
Hello, thank you for this review. Have you tested Gyroflow indoors ? What is your favorite mode Rocksteady horizon or Gyroflow ? indoor
Yes I have and its great
Aweseome video! Very good explanations ans great editing incl. the music.

Play around with the shutter speed

very good explainer man. Made me think of my options but I think Avata works because it is simple one package
Cheers Victor
What FOV you use for this video? Great footage and good job anyway 👍
this is excellent flying and video... Im looking into getting some done training in Tokyo.. Interested in Real Estate drone videography..

Is gyroflow better? Ive heard from a few they fly in normal mode without image stabilisation and then do the magic in gyro. Is it that much better??
Do you still use the avata a lot nowadays for interior real estate videos??
You right !
Why do I feel like Ive already watched this video multiple times?
Hey man just found your video! What exposure setting do you use to fly the drone in and out of the house? Does Auto make sense here?
Sean do you fly normal mode or manual mode indoors? excellent video.
It depends on how small the place is but for a home like this Normal mode will do

What about the sensors indoors? I keep saying peoples Avatas don't fly correctly inside because of the sensors
Not that I know of
The avata is very unreliable indoors. Unless I’m doing something wrong… it will randomly drift/speed up. If not for this problem, I would have nothing bad to say about the avata

+1 on the gyroflow!
+2 - try gyroflow - makes such a big difference
Has to b Iranian 🥳
I'm hoping DJI gives us 24/30p. That will open up another stop of light going from 60p to 30p
