#Emails continue to be the core of communication. Hence, being able to manage emails to help us prioritize better, can be considered nothing less than a life skill.
I am sharing with you the email management techniques that I use for Gmail, which have immensely helped in increasing my productivity and I sincerely hope it helps you too.

I use emails draft to save my passwords because it's not in my PC so I will never lost it.

1. Create A rule filter for the mail coming from team members.
2. Also have a Common mail id for sharing mails to listed team agents who have access to it, to keep info more secure.
3. Change contract to dark when working on dim light. 😃

I use 3 different email id's. One for professional/work related. Second is for my personal use including finance, bills etc and 3rd is for the least important stuff like shopping etc.

Gmail has recently started a new feature where it reminds you of an email, which it thinks should be replied to (in my case it was an interview invitation asking to share my resume), where I forgot to reply for 3 days. Gmail reminded me, "received 3 days ago, Reply?"

I use a condition that email addressed to me will be in default Inbox, and marked one will be in another folder... this helps me seting priorities...

I categorise mails in different folder and create certain rules so that they automatically sits in certain folders which helps in segregation of imp and non imp mails 🙂

I have an email hack for you. Mr. Warikoo. The signature tool. When you are sending someone an email, you need not to write everytime your name and designation at the last. Just add it to your signature tool and it will appear on your compose email everytime when you compose an email

Some hacks I tried -
I used "filters" to create a Reading list, Finance etc. related labels.
On my mobile, I just enabled mails from Labels (so that my focus is on the right set of emails)
and Later at end of day, I go through my inbox (to see if anything needs to be moved to labels)
Really helped in my productivity and increasing focus on what should I read.

Good to know these tips.
When creating folders in Gmail, use the prefix as 1_(folder1), 2_(folder2) and so on to always sort the folders list in same order instead of alphabetical.
What are the categories and tags you use for filtering the emails?
And can you make a video on to-do list applications you use?

1. Now Gmail itself providing that follow-up feature as free. I'm starting to see mail coming into my inbox after three days if I didn't get reply.
2. You can create a filter and categorise either based on domain or sender or based on mail header and archive it to specific folder freely.
