Just so you know, that knife is illegal in NYC. So be careful, the law is insane.
It's all about quality, in every aspect of our lives...the feel of the brushed steel of a pen, or the sensation of top grade leather. I'm an English boy who went to a Comprehensive school.. I love football and I love ballet, I make no distinction between high and low culture, for me it's all about quality in our acts, deeds and choices. Life is short...we may as well get it right.
Why would a gentleman carry a knife or a light everyday ???
Who buys quality only cries once.
$115 is not that much. When I saw it I thought it would be like 5-10 times that. And it's also a nice gift for someone who get "everything".
How strange, my Wife and I returned from our 26th wedding anniversary trip to Paris this week and I purchased three of the same 9cm Juniper wood Laguiole knives. One for me and the other two for my adult sons as a souvenir from our trip. It's good to know that I have the same taste as the Urban Gentry! Enjoy the videos, keep up the great work.
The flashlight I carry is the Peanut light from Countycomm. Mine is stainless steel but they do make them in brass and copper. It’s about an inch long, quite understated, has a low and high setting ( surprisingly bright) and is extremely durable. I thought I lost mine for a week and then found it in my driveway after a week of heavy rain every day. The light still worked and did so flawlessly.

I love and carry that light myself. When I’m in a suit, I use a black Foursevens Preon P2. It’s simple, elegant, and very bright. Seems like I remember a gold one too.
