I am left until the end, I'm not sure of a favourite I really like them all but it really depends on the season as they're really lovely in different lights and weather.

In my "yoof" I walked the high fells, now in my 70s I limit myself to the likes of Wansfell, Scout Crag, or even Wray Castle to Hawkshead and back 😁. Walking the Lakeland fells is like life, you have to put in the effort, the rewards (or pint) will be all the sweeter for it - even if you have to put up with the occasional long trudge (I remember them well) 😂. Looking forward to your next season.

I have watched many of your videos and I love the style. You show a map of the route and make the walk very interesting including the detail and approach to the summit. First climbed the Pike via the corridor route in 1976 and have done it maybe fifteen times since, once with my two young lads thirty years ago, still got their certificates from Edmondson's farm. Been up from five different start points, Corridor route is definitely the best, but avoid in heavy mist unless very experienced,
Watched till the very end, despite the technical issues. Loved the whole season. The Blea Tarn, Lingmoor Fell, Side Pike video was my particular favourite. Such a great walk! Thanks for sharing.
So many brilliant walks ,the best for me around the Windermere to Grasmere and surrounding areas are best for selfish reasons simply because it's the area I know best
I went up Scafel Pike from Langdale via Bow Fell, returning to Langdale via the Corridor Route. I've really enjoyed this video as on my walk visibility was about 2.5 inches (obviously a bit of an exaggeration). But it was great to see through your lens what I couldn't see with my own eyes.
I've been round the Wainwrights once, and now looking for alternative routes for as many as possible for the second circuit. Your videos are WAAYYY the best that I've seen for showing and explaining the routes you take, thank you so much. (They're also a really really nice way to spend a rainy evening after work, so that you for that too 😀)

So glad you posted this video ,it brought back memories of when I did the exact same route, minus the detour to Lingmel and Great End. The day my wife and I walked it 15 years ago we got caught up in low cloud and couldn't enjoy the views from the top . It only cleared when we got sight of Sprinkling Tarn . You are too hard on yourself Glenn ( like when you realised the mic was off ). Us die hards would stick around even if you sat in a cloud for an hour with no sound or visibility😂🙌. Another belter of a video. I’ve done Scafell Pike but not the corridor route. I wondered whether it would be as good as the hype, its dayam pretty aint it!! I too an like you, 5 hour walk turns into 10 hrs if the light is good. I just stand there with my jaw on the floor on my walks lol. A friend and I came down the corridor route and down that waterfall bit towards Seathwaite. It was certainly more sketchy going down those rocks near the waterfall, but seems nice heading the opposite direction with the waterfall in view all the time.

The corridor route has been on my must do list for a couple of years now. Shows it off superbly in this video, looks so much more interesting than plodding up scafell pike from Wasdale. Views down those gullies off Lingmell remind me of looking down the gullies off the summit of ben Nevis north face, on a smaller scale.
Im new to your channel enjoying so far . I also love photographing nature especially at twilight. Your inspiring me ive lived in Canada for 10 years but im thinking of moving back to England i miss the weather lol Haha believe it or not . In Ontario its so hot humid in summer you cant get out to hiking !!!! Lol

Fantastic video as always. I really appreciate you showing exactly what the paths are like and where a slight scramble is required. As I’ve got older I’ve developed vertigo and a fear of scree so it’s helpful to see exactly which routes I could manage and which might be beyond me.

Fabulous yet again. I’ve loved all of this series (and all other series too 😄). I’ve done the walk up to Sty Head Tarn & Sprinkling Tarn which I absolutely loved. The trudge down Ruddy Gill & Grains Gill was exactly that…a long trudge down. Looking forward to your next series 😊
Top work Glen, I did this route last September. No Lingmell or Great End , 8 hrs. Hard going across the boulder fields and ruddy gill. Happy memories, thanks John.
Superb, thanks Glen. Brings back so many memories. For me, the best ones were Harter Fell and this one. Northern Fells with a few exceptions will be very different for certain.

We did the route in reverse in bonkers heat 🥵 and when you looked back at Broad Crag col and said "soul crushing view" that was my thoughts exactly 😫. Especially after having trudged across what seemed like miles of boulder fields, then seeing the drop down.

I remember doing the corridor route after watching you do it last time. Tried to follow your route off OS maps, parked at Seathwaite Farm, but ended up coming up over Base Brown and making my own route down the other side of Green Gable towards Styhead Tarn!! Dont ask me how. Anyway, after doing the rest of the route successfully, I remember getting the point after Ruddy Gill where you drop into Seathwaite and thinking the same. "Why is the car not getting any closer!" 😫😂 brilliant video as usual. Thank you!!
Defo interested in the guff....so many videos that show the.f. forward version I would love to get in those falls on your way up... I've always used Stockleigh Bridge and up the main path, but i may just try yours on my next one 💪👍

A couple of weeks ago my wife and I walked the Herriot Way through the Dales; we were both surprised how much we enjoyed it. The stretch along the River Swale between Keld and Reeth is gorgeous. It’s a wonderful route. The first part of the walk really makes you feel your in the land that time forgot.

I did the corridor route and scafell a couple of years ago but it was cloudy so this was brilliant to show me what I missed.

I remember doing the corridor route after watching you do it last time. Tried to follow your route off OS maps, parked at Seathwaite Farm, but ended up coming up over Base Brown and making my own route down the other side of Green Gable towards Styhead Tarn!! Dont ask me how. Anyway, after doing the rest of the route successfully, I remember getting the point after Ruddy Gill where you drop into Seathwaite and thinking the same. "Why is the car not getting any closer!" 😫😂 brilliant video as usual. Thank you!!

I watched it to the end Glen. It’s a fantastic walk and one I’ve done a couple of times. I’m looking forward to what you’ll bring us over the next few weeks. A couple of weeks ago my wife and I walked the Herriot Way through the Dales; we were both surprised how much we enjoyed it. The stretch along the River Swale between Keld and Reeth is gorgeous. Anyway keep up the good work and also what’s the name of the bar you visited at the end of the vid?
