Hello Andrew, I am writing to you from Chile, I have the previous HP machine, and I will tell you that I am impressed with what HP managed to make, THE SCREEN IS WONDERFUL !!! and that HP will improve the characteristics such as the camera, make the machine configurable, I love your channel, and I always see your videos, thanks for this demonstration
Thanks for a very interesting review, Andrew. I have been keeping tabs on this, as my new desktop. This is a niche product, but I do like that it is user-upgradable. The 5K screen is very impressive. Also, the webcam is excellent, and the B&O audio was very clear. Best wishes in the New Year to you and your family. Good luck at CES.
A fully decked out machine with glorious 5K display, excellent upgradeability, webcam and internal mic. Also nice that it has audio tuned Bang and Olufsen speakers for great sound! What's not to like right? Thank you for your excellent review Andrew and Happy New Year!!
Very cool unit. I’m obsessed with keeping a clean desk and a flexible workspace where I can somewhat easily remove my work machine. The I/O in the base, on the back and the wireless phone charger is really powerful.
Wow, nice surprise to see you review this! I've had my eye on this since Daniel Rubino first looked at it, but it's been unobtanium. Thanks for the review, and great to hear stock finally will become available. I'd get the i7 as i9 doesnt have any real benefit in this form factor. Happy new year!
I wasn't able to Configure/Buy the ENVY 34 when I first started shopping for new pc in Oct/Nov 2021. So instead I ended up buying the ENVY 32 (not fully loaded but got the Intel Core i9-10900) - they would only configure the ENVY 32 to come preloaded with Windows 10 Pro/HE edition (with MS support thru May 2022) - so I was not happy that HP wouldn't preloaded it with Windows 11 Pro (really?) I placed the order on 11/9/2021 got the PC delivered on 12/28/2021. When I bought the ENVY 32, I was really keen on it having the B&O sound system. Even though right now I'm experiencing some MP3 playback anomalies where the volume level cycles +/- db's enough to where it's noticeable). Very weird. Like I said, I got the unit on 12/28/2021 and very quickly requested a return. I never heard back from them and finally after 30 days they agreed to allow me to return the ENVY 32 for a 15% restocking fee. So now before I return the ENVY 32, I want to make sure the ENVY 34 will support what I mainly do and that's remote/offsite ERP System Automation design and development work using remote desktop connectivity. My only concern on the ENVY 34 ultrawide screen would be the resolution settings. I'm having to use 2560 X 1440 with remote desktop connections (where resolution settings can't be change when connecting remotely). My wife also works offsite and remotes into her job using dual monitors off a laptop and says she spends a lot of time scrolling apps vertically. Again, I'm having to use 2560 x 1440 resolution with zoom set at 150% (the recommended setting) in order to easily view content full screen on the ENVY 32. Will I be able to view/use the ENVY 34 running Windows 11 Pro and MS Office Apps without having to do a bunch of vertical scrolling? P.S. I have an RMA # and Return Label printed so I can return my ENVY 32 and looking to get about $2300 refunded that I could apply to ordering ab ENVY 34. Should I go ahead and get the ENVY 34?
I have an HP envy 34 all-in-one I bought 3 years ago - an earlier i7 model. It’s held up wonderfully and the keyboard - though as you say the key journey is shallow - it’s still going strong and I use it virtually every day of the week for a number of hours. If the new ones are as robust I don’t think you can go wrong with this brand.
Nice desktop unit. Camera and microphone are very good. Display is very good. The only problem is when one sits too close to a 34 in big screen over time it can get hard on the eyes and make one get a little sleepy or suffer eye strain. Like the easy access to upgrade storage and memory. Did not see on option to upgrade the WiFi card. Overall still an impressive PC. On another note have a happy New Year. As always another great review.
Thanks for the review, very well done! Little question here: while it has no HDMI-in, is there a video-in option? Maybe USB-C? This would allow me to connect the work laptop when needed.

@@astoriacub It's an AIO and it is meant to be versatile, hence the term. It will not be ideal for creators as it will not cope well under sustained loads.
@@fmulleady It's not a gaming PC, it is not intended to be and its not marketed as one...
@@astoriacub that doesn't change my point that it has many limitations as a creator machine under sustained load. It doesn't matter whether you insist what it's marketed for.
@@fmulleady It's a content creator PC, not a gaming PIC.
Good luck sending my 32 “ back after a six month fight with, hp. Worst computer I ever owned, my first computer was a coleco Adam. In case you wondering how long I have been using computers
Is the 32 in envy bad. Would you suggest to buy this one?
@@moisescaballero7458 don't know, i just returned mine today, because they couldn't replace it for me with the updates I ordered. (guess they are still having issues with chips) I had lots of really strange problems and I think it might have been due to a faulty motherboard. I is a really nice screen, and if the crazy slowness', and strange noises out of the speakers, the inability to sleep, when it did sleep and I woke it there would be up to 45 window explorer screens open I had to close each one before I could work. It would freeze up hen doing the simplest of task. I think I just had a lemon, I would order a stock model and not upgrade any components, I wonder if the mother board was damaged during the upgrades. One side note my step son works at best buy and they sell the smaller 24 inch and he says he has never seen one returned.
What GPU does it use?
Did you watch the video?
After CES 2022.. this tech is already outdated.
I just don’t understand why they released this a month before the CES 2022. Now it’s Pcie 5, intel 12th and Ddr 5 rams generation… also the 3080Ti Max-Q.
I was gonna be a buyer but thanks god it was out of stock until today.. I changed my mind 😊 otherwise I would have been so disappointed if I bought it a month ago and now it’s a last generation!
What do you mean. Do you mean the recently updated the computer I just saw it on stock on hp as newly listed
@@moisescaballero7458 Yes. That one has 2020/2021 Specs. Motherboard for PCie 4.0, SSD, RAM, GPU, CPU… etc. (Not the new PCie 5.0 gen of 2022)
@@Illusiongraphy thank you. Does that also mean gaming won't be laggy as much. And will it make a difference if I hook up my game console into the computer to play like my xbox
@@moisescaballero7458 I’m sorry you kinda lost me here. This HP 34 AIO PC is outdated. It’s not meant for gaming. It has a resolution of 5K and it will be give low FPS unless you play on low settings and resolution. This is not a monitor to hook your gaming console into it!
@@Illusiongraphy thanks. So I can't connect this to HDMI to the monitor like other aio computers? Thanks for the help too
Noise level of this all in one is unacceptable. Whoever designed cooling system and whoever approved its production needs to go. Returning mine. i7 2060. One more time… It’s junk
NO HDMI-IN means I can't use this for my work laptop monitor and personal computer. AKA TRASH.
Name a computer all in one you can do that on. None!!!
@@PLANETWATERMELON I believe this is something you can do with the Huawei Matestation X. I prefer really this one but not having the ability to use it as a second monitor is really stoping me from buying it. It's not even possible to connect a laptop through usb-c to use it as a second monitor ?
@@fraga9422 The thing is previous versions did, for me it's a showstopper too. New Pavilion seems to have it 3 HDMI in it states
Too bad it has mobile GPU
envy ? hööö
Vhi are NOT diskskriber
Sadly still an HP.
