Excellent review of the all in one. This is literally the best thing I can buy as of now if money wasn't a problem. This is just so perfect. The only part I would have loved to upgrade was a better GPU. Nothing too fancy but something like RX570 would have been even better. That wireless charger and volume scroll is just the cherry on top. I don't have ANY complaints about this all in one though. Oh, by the way, a rechargeable mouse would have saved me a lot of work, but I can live with it.

when did HP start using that logo? i first saw it on HP Spectre and I really love it. it looks really sexy, complimenting their hardware designs well.

Dude, love the preview. I have do have a question; Can I use it as a monitor for an Apple Mac Pro (trash can)? As I think it would look super cool.

This design is gorgeous. Thanks for your review. I haven't used Windows since Windows Vista Home Premium but still have that computer. It doesn't work well at all now. I'm an iPad userand have seen this computer in a few best of videos . I like the way the webcam can be hidden, and the screen. I don't have the space for it but it does look like a great machine. Does Windows 10 have good accessibility features? I need a screen reader and dictation program. I have only used an iPad for the last 8 years and love it. I'm considering the 21.5" or 27" iMac too. Or a Macbook Air. I have 10 novel drafts, and am a blogger and book reviewer as well as watch RUclips and movies and use the internet generally. If I get this in the future what configuration would you recommend? How much strength is required to use the volume dial, keyboard and mouse? and can you control the computer by voice only?

Hi Matthew, great review. So, I am primarily a Mac user however, I wanted to get my self a windows PC for doing other bits and pieces on the side. The one item on this PC that intrigues me is the HDMI input. I am about to purchase a high end Hikvision CCTV system and was wondering if the HDMI port on the Hikvision NVR would send the recordings to this Envy PC via the HDMI. Or is the HDMI IN meant to be used by something else. I wanted to use the Blue Iris software which is windows only, and I think the 4k CCTV cameras I am getting would look pretty good on this PC.
So, would this work do you think. I'm a bot late to the comment section, but hey, if you don't ask - right !
I notice that even though I only have a 1080p monitor, when I watch videos in 4K, they still look better than watching them in 1080p. Noticeably so. Is this a placebo or something else?

Nice review thanks. Great for spreadsheets and financial applications. I love it. have used iMacs up till now and plugged in extra screens but the resolutions of the extra screens is poor. given most financial apps run better off windows this is ideal. very good, strong, pretty piece of kit

I have the 2015 model and I love it except for easy of system upgrades/replacement for RAM or HD. In the 2017 model here, is there easier access to upgrading/replacing RAM or the HD?

I had an all-in-one laptop in the past, the unique Dell XPS M2010 (with the best video card back in 2007, ATI Mobility RADEON X1800). However, not just me, many owners of this model all experienced the video car issue. After a while of using (it started giving me problems after about 1 years of using) We had to either replace a new video card or do baking process for just a short amount of time to use....
So my question to you is: How long have you been using this HP 34 curve and have you or other users experienced video card overheat to the degree that it will not display and forcing you to replace it?
Also, how is the vent situation of this HP all in one? Can you hear the sound of the fans running? How many fans are there? How does it do the heat releasing progress??
I know the entire progress of the Dell XPS M2010, and I hope my next all in one will not have the same problem...so I am asking these questions...Thanks
Is there a special function key to project the monitor to another PC? I'm using a Display adapter plugged into the HDMI IN port which is connected to my laptop. Still unable to see image on monitor. Any suggestions?

Hi Matthew! I just purchase my first HP Envy Curved 34-b135se (wheuf!!!). You mentioned the mouse and the keyboard are wireless. I haven't event turn on the computer yet but can you tell me what if anything I have to do with the keyboard. I've already placed the AAA batteries on the mouse and there was a spot for the keyboard too. Please advise.

Can you run PIP or Picture in Picture content on this machine? E.g. could you run a Blu Ray, PS4 or whatever in a window?
Considering that the display itself may cost $1000, this isn't a bad deal. Looks great for creative professionals, but the lenovo ideacenter might be the best for gaming IMO
Ya this is not a gaming machine. You can do some light gaming but I wouldn't suggest people buy this for it

The webcam is pretty good you can use it for Skype and even RUclips vids

Just ordered one from HP. Then I started freaking out because I read the monitors position was not adjustable. That could be a deal breaker... Called HP and they confirmed that it was a fixed angle. Your review shows it as adjustable... Go figure..
After I receive this and spend some time with it, I will post my thoughts...

€1899 is around £1700 which is a reasonable price for this all in one with the specs given but no, here it's £2000 for one with only 8gb of ram and a gtx 950m

Yes I'm using all the time multiple graphics programs together.. This computer is amazing.. if you open all programs together still doesn't matter works very good and fast and never froze..

This would be a nobrainer for me if it were 24" or smaller with a 1080p or 1440p resolution.
This would be an excellent work station thanks to that screen. Way easier on the eye than having two screens beside each others.

I have had nothing but problems with mine. First issue was that the keyboard would go crazy, and it was constantly typing like i was doing it. I pulled the back panel off and there was the mouse connector in side the computer. Taking this out fixed it. However, after two months later none of the USB work. Now, windows starts but its stuck at the start screen. Its only a year old. I have no USB so i cannot boot into windows. My last resort is to reset the cmos. I have to painstakingly take it apart to get to the motherboard. I doubt this will fix it. I will have lost 3 months work of work on a side project. I will never buy another HP again
