Eventually I was able to buy a laptop which I have now and its not a high end laptop but its enough to do stuff and even a bit of gaming to make me happy. Im even gonna get a new one again next month since my aunt wants to give me a gift since im graduating from Junior Highschool. You just gotta have faith buddy, you might not get a laptop right now but sooner or later you will be able to. If you want something so badly im sure youll find a way. I have had horrific support with the Lenovo Slim 7 2023. LENOVO are becoming Asus level criminals and that model from 2023 is gimped by bios design. They are rushing out new product without actuslly solving significant bios and driver issues year on year and are violating consumer rights with their refusal to replace faulty systems. This model looks sick but let's be clear, year on year their battery life is getting worse, and the white keys on this laptop are impossible to see unless heavily backlit
Bought this but with every trick in the book can't seem to get more than 5.5 hours of battery life, just doesn't seem sustainable for my usage so probably returning as much as I love it. Definitely talk about your experience with battery!

I had this machine for a minute. It got a bit hot and throttled some. I returned the machine due to the case making a creaking noise when opening the lid. All in all though, I would have returned for a different machine, but the location where I purchased it, did not have another one. If you are going to buy this machine, I would ensure it is on a flat surface, with lots of ventilation.
Would you look into the fan noise AND pitch? Previous legion laptops had a problem with fans whistling a high pitch noise when it got ramped up. Especially the thinner legion laptops had this. Can you look into if the fan noise is a whoosh or a whizz? Also coil noise?

i got same specs legion 7i, ive played re 4 remake at 4k max graphics ( ray tracing off) and i got 80-90 or more fps easily

Not sure if you want more than 100 fps at 1440p but sounds great at 1080p where you'll get above 100 fps on average
