game prices have gotten so out of control...I recently been scouring eBay and Facebook marketplace trying to find ANY reasonable deals and can't find a thing on anything gameboy, gamecube, or n64 related. Such a bummer.
Good of you to share these,Dan! I love outer space and being in water,so the games i love most here would be Waverace Bluestorm and Star Wars Rogue Squadron II.
Wasn't aware Wave Race had a nintendo power insert. I got it complete without it for only 5 bucks at some thrift store so I'm satisfied with that. Been getting into Gamecube collecting again cause of your videos. nice picks!
Omg same, I have the Wii family edition that is not backwards compatibility and I don't have a gamecube, i just really want to get my hands on Super Mario Sunshine and Mario Kart Double Dash and more so badly😔😭 12/17/2022: I finally got a GameCube!
Dude have you seen prices on Wario World? It’s insane! I got it, because I wanted to complete my collection of nostalgia, but...DAMN. Got a “deal” of $65. I think I’m done retro collecting now, lol.
Always love getting more recommendations for GameCube games. I’d add 007 Nightfire as a good cheep GameCube game. Great multiplayer shooter on the console
Some more great gamecube games I recommend getting are Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc, Rogue Squadron 3: Rebel Strike, and Bionicle heroes. I love the gamecube so much, it was the very first console I owned so I'm glad to be gradually picking up the really great games for it!
Even though it has some stupid rare games, I'm glad that in the UK a lot of the best games are pretty easily obtainable. Definitely gonna start collecting for it after I'm satisfied with my PS2 collection.
Dance Dance Revolution: Mario Mix is another awesome game that is pretty cheap considering it's a Mario game. It's honestly my favourite game of all time, just the perfect game to have a good time with, and I try to play it for a workout as I am trying to loose weight lol. I guess it would cost you more if you are trying to get the dance pad though.
I can think of a few titles! 18-Wheeler: American Pro Trucker - Faithful port of a cheesy arcade driving game from the late 90s, originally developed by Sega. Smuggler's Run: Warzones - At face value it might seem like a barebones competitive offroad driving sim, but the environments are so impressive, and people who are enthusiasts of industrial/drum 'n bass type of music will find that the soundtrack is really tastefully put together. Also really fun multiplayer to goof around in! Pinball Hall of Fame: The Gottlieb Collection - Faithful digital recreations of different machines that really showcase how the pinball genre evolved from the 50s all the way to the 90s. Genie and Black Hole are two particular standouts.
Superb list. A few others: LOTR: The Two Towers is a great licensed game and dirt cheap; Megaman Collection is an extraordinary value for what you get; and if you have a GBA, link cable and a friend then the R: Racing Evolution / Pac Man vs. Combo pac should be a must buy.
I'd also recommend Tetris Worlds for GCN. I found it locally CIB for $8, and it has lots of interesting side modes and variations on your typical Tetris fare. I'm happy you brought back these bargain guides! I've been binging your GameCube starter guides this past week, so I was ecstatic to see this pop up in my subscription box! Lastly, where do you buy your video game box protectors? I've been having a tough time finding reasonable listings with no risk of degradation. Thanks!
My launch day copy of Rogue Leader has a third insert in it. A LucasArts product registration card. I tweeted you some pics! (@NickPenev on Twitter). Great game choices featured here!
I'm missing tmnt 3, hulk ultimate destruction, superman shadow of apokolips, and Sonic adventure 2. Then I'll Finally be finished with my collection. I started collecting wii about 2 months ago. it's much easier to collect for because prices are much more reasonable
So wait, are these for loose prices? Sonic heroes CIB is technically like $40. Still great game, though wanna pick up DX first, but I'm more of a CIB person. Gotta have that nice shelf to show off. And soul caliber 2 is a certified classic.
You know, I'm glad you explained the SC2 plot. This game's narration style confuses the hell out of me, but then Link or 2B starts pummeling the staff dude and I'm like "yeah, I can get behind this."
I love Soul Calibur. Only ones I haven't played yet are Soul Edge, Soul Calibur 3, and the Wii spinoff. But I have a ps2 now so I'm finally gonna play it.
Good video crazy taxi one my favourites own it on 3 different consoles . Princess of Persia on wii too one my daughter favourites . Want to get waverace owned original on game boy used go thought lots of batteries first videogame I bought. Think was 13.
I would also add ATV2 Quad Power Racing, Star Wars Rebel Strike, Crash Nitro Kart, Tak 1 and 2, The Spongebob Squarepants Movie (a surprisingly great platformer), and Tony Hawks Underground. All awesome games under $20 that I would recommend giving a try!
Gladius is criminally inexpensive despite being one of the best tactical RPGs of that generation. Shrek SuperSlam is a Power Stone-like Smash Bros alternative that's popular enough to have a competitive tier list (I also recommend War of the Whiskers, but it's pretty uncommon and may not be cheap). Sega Soccer Slam is, IMO, a superior alternative to Mario Strikers. Beach Spikers is another great Sega arcade sports game. Star Wars: The Clone Wars is basically Rogue Squadron with tanks.
Sonic Heroes is the first gamecube game I ever played. I’m 19 years old and my brother passed down his gamecube to me, along with this game and a few others
Haven’t played the original Crazy Taxi but I’ve picked up Simpsons Road Rage which I believe is the same type of game but with a Simpsons skin. It plays really well and has split screen. I’ve got it on PS2 but it should be pretty cheap on GameCube as well.
@@NintendoCollecting definitely recommend hunting it down at some point and Simpsons Hit and Run as well if you don’t already have that one. Basically a level based GTA in the simpsons universe and is even more popular than road rage. Both great games that go along well with classic Simpsons
Good god love your game cube collection 🤤 Dark Alliance 1. I got for 7 dollars complete. I miss the manuals. Right when they stoped making them I feel the care into making the games won’t down
There was gonna be a Prince of Persia game with n assassin but they made that into Assassin's Creed. The Prince of Persia reboot on xbox 360 is one of my favorite hidden gems.
I played Soul Calibur 2 a lot as a kid. Mostly as Link lol. I got it again last year and it still holds up. In my opinion it was more fun than Soul Calibur 6.
I have countless fond memories and games of the Gamecube. I really want to start collecting more. Cheers.
@Emily Evans Cheers!

couldn’t agree more on crazy taxi, Star Wars, and soul caliber,, definitely a good collection of games to start out the GameCube with

Waverace is a fun game!
This is my new favorite channel! Also I love these GameCube collecting videos!
Fun fact: Biggs and Wedge from Final Fantasy are named after the 2 Star Wars characters.
Interesting

Very true - it should have a few more character (Like Captain Falcon)
Another wonderful video! If you are a Marvel or X-men fan or love rpgs or all three! I highly recommend the X-men Legends games!

I have that one with 2 of the dance mat because a few of my friends grew up playing it and it's hilariously fun
Ssx on tour is one of my favourite games on the gamecube, especially the free ride mode.
Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy. I’d say get the switch port now though.
GC prices are so ridiculous now that it was cheaper for me to buy a GC and mod it with Xeno/Swiss/Sd2sp2.

Why does your voice sound exactly like Chris Fix?
We are clones, just like in Mario Strikers when you have 3 sidekicks that are all identical

Team Rose are my favorite characters. Although I prefer Sonic CD Amy.
