@@lightyagami3492 I completely agree with that, I'm actually just collecting basically whatever version whether bad or good of the best games. I actually am thinking of doing lets plays on here with all my classics
I bought Path of Radiance back on its launch. It launched on my birthday, and I had gotten Gamestop giftcards. I think I had just turned 12 or 13 and thought it was Marth on the cover and I loved playing as Marth in smash. It's one of my favorite games of all time, fantastic soundtrack and story. Highly recommend.
I won Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door at a Magic the Gathering FNM tournament about 6 years ago at a gaming store. I think the buy-in was $5. Best Paper Mario game ever made.
The rarest GC game in my collection is Cubivore: Survival of the fittest. I own it CIB with manual and original casing. Apparently its going around $300-$400 right now. I picked it up for about $40 back in 2008. Ribbit King is another GC game that I picked up on eBay about 5 years ago for cheap but is also now going for over $100.
I loved that LoZ collectors edition growing up. The GameCube was my first non-hand me down console and the game came with the system. I spent hours playing those games over and over.
Same here, I got it for Christmas but didn’t get a memory card and was excited to play it but I swore I wouldn’t play too far into Majora’s mask until I got a memory card. Needless to say I played far into it and would just pause the game and leave it running 24/7 for about a week until I was able to get a memory card
They are not just "great", they are some of the BEST gamecube games. Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance, Resident Evil 2, 3,Code Veronica X, Pikmin 2, Zelda Collectors Edition, Wind Waker, Ocarina of Time Master Quest, Paper Mario, Mario Party, etc, etc.
I just started gamecube collecting last month and after spending 175 dollars on just 3 games luigi's mansion zelda windwaker and mario sunshine i have given up for now until that next stimulus check comes in lol.
Fun games, but not $175 kinda fun. Patience and thrift stores are your friends when it comes to retro collecting. Online pricing isn't based on value but what someone has previously paid, it's a scam to make people pay more.
So glad to see you have Pokémon Box. I managed to snag the big box version from The Pokemon Center NY, back when they launched for $35 US. Crazy how expensive the Pokémon series have shot up. Love the top 25 and some are still on my bucket list for sure!
About 2 years ago I found that twilight princess at a retro shop near me for $40 with the inserts, booklet, and everything else in great condition. Almost didn’t see it until my friend pointed it out. Told myself I would be a fool not to get it and thank god I did lol
Weird how you mention Eternal Darkness and Zelda Collectors Edition, two games I got for pretty cheap (at least in Europe), but no Chibi-Robo, that is a game I adore and would love to own it but man is it expensive! (at least my friend has it!)
Got Twilight Princess for like $3 at a thrift store about 8 or 9 years ago. Basically brand new when I bought it. Definitely the best pickup I’ve ever had. :D
I bought a gsmecube in March of this year and still have no physical games for it. They are so expensive and if you homebrew the gamecube then you can play gamecube isos off a sd card and they will save to a memory card.
I started collecting games I’d actually want to play, and not to have a game just to have it. So I’m just getting what I want, and for me it’s well worth it no matter the price because GameCube is my favorite system.
For a note on clarity, Lost Kingdoms 1 and 2 were developed by From Software and published by Activision! I got my copy of LK2 with no manual, so I made my own silly manual (along with my friend who shipped it to me with a silly drawing as well). I don't do game collecting, but I'm grateful I could get it for a fair trade since it's wickedly expensive now.
Just ran to my games cabinet to confirm my Pokemon Box is "boxed" and... It is! 🥲 I probably only used it once so it looks great. Has all the Inserts and the cable .
Chibi-Robo has gotten insane. It’s around $200 US dollars for a complete copy, I bought mine for only $25 6 years ago. Killer 7 is also kindof expensive, around $60 US.
My most expensive one is Fire Emblem. I found it at a Yard Sale in 2015 for $1 along with other nice GameCube and Wii games. Still my best find of all time. I’ve also found Paper Mario TTYD 6 different times for $15 or less
I got it for 50 pesos = $2.50 now, 5 years ago with a friend who didn't know about the price hahah The game isn't in grest condition but it works and that's fine by me
Go Go Hyperdrive sells for an average of $500 on eBay. Absolutely insane for a so-so game like that. To think I could have gotten it for $30 just a couple years ago... Another list can be made with games like Metal Gear Twin Snakes, Time Splitters 3, Starfox Assault 1st print, Killer 7, Animal Crossing, even F-Zero GX. All those are very expensive now.
wow, yeah, I used to own go go hyperdrive but sold it because it's not particularly great. Shoulda held onto it for a few more years. Looks like it sells for $350+ generally, definitely not 500 on average

Hey I recently discovered your channel and I just want to say thank you for sharing great content :) looking forward to see what's more in store! The only rare GameCube games I own I guess are Mario Party 6 and Paper Mario and the year thousand door (without the player's choice on top). :)
I remember renting Cubivore from a local videostore back when I was a kid. I played it tons and soooo wish I could've convinced the parents to buy it for me before the place ended up shutting down. :(
I have Mario Party 4,5,6,7, Paper Mario TTYD, Chibi Robo, Pikmin, Viewtiful Joe, Metroid Prime, Wind waker, Super Mario sunshine, Super smash Melee, SoulCaliber 2, Wave Race, Kirby air ride, Mario tennis, Mario baseball and many more
Of this list, I have Pokémon colosseum and the bonus disk, Pokémon XD, Zelda collectors edition, Zelda ocarina master quest, eternal darkness, and paper Mario thousand year door. Fun video! :)
Pokemon Box just had all the signs of being a sought after and expensive game that so many of us collectors overlooked. I picked up my copy several years ago before it started exploding in value and wish I would have picked up more to have for trade material. You ever plan on trying to get the outer box for your copy?
The rarest Gamecube game I have is Path of Radiance which after seeing how much it goes for now makes me glad I bought it around when it was first released.
I am sooooo happy that I got a bunch of GameCube games before prices skyrocketed. I got Luigi’s mansion, Mario kart, and paper Mario all complete in perfect condition for a dollar each. Another story I found pikman 2 at a goodwill for $40 which it’s nice to see has gone up. And last on which I’m going crazy over I found the Pokémon coliseum bonus disc complete at a goodwill for $20.
Underrated is TimeSplitters Future Peefect right now it’s in the $80 range for the game so i suggest you collect it now since that’s the last one in the franchise.
I have a pretty sizeable GameCube collection myself but my most valuable game is Gotcha Force. Didn't come with the manual unfortunately but I found it at a thrift store for $5. Suffice to say I wasn't gonna leave it behind ;)
Honestly, I'd love to collect GameCube games but its way too expensive and I'm a 14 year old collector so theres NO WAY I can go out and find some at garage sales, especially not during this pandemic.
Stuff I find for cheap I don’t want I just sell for more and then basically get the stuff I want for free. I had a free N64 and all the great games for free pretty much
I’m 17 and I’ve been saving up all my money for a complete copy of fire emblem path of radiance. Now I’m gonna try and go for paper Mario the thousand year door complete.
I only had two gamecube games growing up, Pokemon Colosseum and Madden 06, both of which I cherished. Last year at a thrift shop I picked up 20 games, 8 that were GC titles being Eternal Darkness, Super Mario Sunshine, Pikmin, Luigi's Mansion, Metroid Prime, X Men Legends I and II, and SSX tricky each for $3. Best haul and luck I've ever had. Also got Japnese Pokemon Colosseum in Osaka for around $3 a few years back. Love the Cube!
Oh buddy. Those prices won't drop. Especially for the the demand that game has. Your better off using the Dolphin Emulator unless you really want to own a physical copy of that game
I got my Path of Radiance about 2 months ago for $197 before shipping costs. After shipping, it came to $217. Considering what I see it for on eBay now, I think I made out well.
Ribbit King is a top tier party game that has gotten expensive, but I was recommending it to people back when it was $15 and virtually nobody cared about it. Digimon Rumble Arena 2 is also a good game that I've personally always preferred to Smash Bros, but it may help to be a Digimon fan (especially the original series). It may be too late now, but Rally Championship was one to watch out for. It's still obscure enough that you might be able to find a good deal, but finding it has always been the problem since it's legitimately one of the rarer GC games.
Found fire emblem path of radiance complete on the floor in front of my local thrift when they were closed so it was free so happy i knew about its rarity/value when i saw the case peaking out from under a pile of clothes.
Fun fact the developers that made eternal darkness went on to make 2 of the worst games that essentially killed the studio. The games were too human and x-men destiny.
I remember 5 years ago I couldn't even get 20$ for paper mario ttyd in my area. I've always NGC fan its nice but also frustrating to see someone the prices of these games.
Conversely, I don't really collect or play my GC so it's been a fantastic year to sell my games for stupid high prices. $120 for paper mario ttyd? Sold!
@@daver7178 same here I've managed to pick up a few times over the last few months. I can't believe how much it's going for. I sold one on Ebay auction for 160$ and it wasn't complete 🤯
Pokémon Gale of Darkness is so amazing... found a GameCube lot for 80 dollars with that in it.... made my year I was able to sell the rest of the lot and made 100 dollars off it and kept one of my favorite Pokémon game
Oh boy! I own Pokemon Colosseum, Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness, DDR: Super Mario Mix and Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventure. With the exception of Four Swords Adventure, I have owned them all since the Game Cube generation
Thank GOD I bought most of the Gamecube games I wanted before prices skyrocketed! Skies of Arcadia Legends was a bit pricey, but totally worth it for me. I also have my copy of Fire Emblem Path of Radiance that I got when it first released!
Found Path of Radiance at a goodwill once for 1 dollar, auctioned it on Ebay and a buyer won at 200 dollars. Was so happy that day, was about 4 or 5 years ago.
A comment on that Zelda Collector's disc that you have at #21. It wasn't a preorder bonus nor was it sold with a system at any point. To get it, you had to subscribe to Nintendo Power Magazine and they sent it out to you for free.
I have most of my original GameCube games. Twilight Princes, Wind Waker, Paper Mario TYD, Luigi's Mansion, Skies of Arcadia, RE CV all original cases and manuals.
Phantasy star online episode 1 & 2 was wayyyyyyy ahead of its time when it came out. I played 100s if not 1000s of hours on them trying to get all of the rarest weapons ahhhhhhh nostalgia
What's more expensive than most all the games is some of the store only or exclusive mailaway Promotional material that was sent out for the GameCube, I recently sold my NWTs 2002 Sega Promo Super Monkey Ball 2 Plush this year for around $200. I've been selling most of my collection off right now because i think prices are pretty much at their peak and most of the games that have skyrocketed have no place to go but down. I think the hardest games to part with were my copies of Dokapon Kingdom for the Wii that's a game that you don't seem to see to many copies of pop up and the same few seem to just keep circulating in the resale market but at $180 it was time for me to let them go lol.
Great video! Loved seeing your collection. I need to track down a bunch of these. I decided to do the two lists you mentioned at the end for fun. My top 5 rarest Gamecube Games and top 10 most valuable in my collection. My top 5 most valuable Gamecube games are as follows. 5. Pikmin 2 4. Paper Mario Thousand Year Door 3. Skies of Arcadia Legends 2. Phantasy Star Online Plus 1. Fire Emblem Path of Radiance. :) My top 10 Most Valuable Games over all are. 10. Fire Emblem Path of Radiance 9. Haunting Ground /PS2 8. Radiant Silver Gun /Saturn 7. Earthbound/ Snes 6. Magic Knight Rayearth/ Saturn 5. Pocky and Rocky 2/ Snes 4. Rule of Rose/PS2 3. Kuon/PS2 2. Snatcher/ Sega Cd 1. Panzer Dragoon Saga/ Saturn All disc games are Complete. The two Snes games are Cart only.
"Gauntlet: Dark Legacy" is perhaps my favourite Gamecube game. It's basically a port of "Gauntlet Legends" on N64, with more of everything. My brothers and I played the absolute sh*t out of this game when we were kids, to the point where some of the colouring on the disc wore off. The music is INSANE; easily one of the best video game soundtracks of all time. I'd pop this f***** in the Gamecube anyday. EXCELLENT GAME! Having said that, "Metroid Prime", and to a somewhat lesser extent, "Metroid Prime 2: Echoes" are probably the best exclusive Gamecube games. (Note: MP2: Echoes is basically just "Jim Henson's: The Dark Crystal" set in the Metroid Prime universe). The soundtracks are unbelievable though! OOT Master Quest is the way the original OOT was meant to be. It's insanely difficult, but they seriously nerfed the Water Temple if you have more than 3 brain cells to rub together. The Spirit Temple makes up for this nerfing by including nearly impossible jumps.
How about Time Splitters Future Perfect? Its hard to find at a good price sometimes. I have been trying to get it myself. Just dont feel like spending $80 dollars for it. One of my favorites too
Not if there's an alternate official way to play the games. It's expensive right now because there's still a lot of exclusives for it. Sunshine's price has been on a heavy decline ever since Super Mario 3D All Stars.
@@adrienbrasseur8809 Every once in a while a nostalgia surge will happen for a console. 2008-2011 it was the NES 2012-2014 it was SNES 2015-2018 it was n64 and now its gamecube. Soon gamecube will be less valuable
for sure need to get tales of symphonia as well for gc, awesome game. metal gear solid twin snakes is a amazing remake of the original as well and for now a gc exclusive, viewtiful joe 1 and 2 are great fun, personally i love star fox assault as well even though it wasnt the best one (still the n64 and 3ds remake) and finally i really loved donkey kong jungle beat as well back when it came out. and ofc f zero gx
Almost all of the games you talked about I have except the Mario Dance/Party games and Pokemon. It's funny to me because I purchased these games years ago when Nintendo Gamecube released because that's what I played not what I'm trying to collect since it's worth alot of money? I never dreamed a good bit of the games I own now would cost hundreds and thousands of dollars???Back then only die-hard Nintendo fans purchased the Nintendo Gamecube but I myself mainly purchased the system because I thought Killer Instinct would be released on physical disc? I think people should really collect what they wanna play not just for the price-wise of games because of the market today? I have alot of games and consoles I've collected over the years that are worth a good bit nowadays but the price isn't what makes it special for me its just the memories that it brought with it that makes me smile and stay happy!
20:29 I found POR for $80 at a local gamestore. The lady even told me something like how all the fire emblem games go for insane prices and she didn't understand why. I just kept silent as she tried to check Amazon for a price match value. And pretty much all I had to do was trade in a whole bunch of stuff I didn't want anymore, so in a sense, I got it free with enough for 2 games left over. And it actually had all the inserts in it and everything, so whoever had it before me took care of it for sure. On a kinda funny note, I learned about Skies of Arcadia back in August 2019, and I thought I was gonna be in this epic decade long search for it like with POR. Nope. October 2019, I got it used for like $40 off ebay with only like 3 other people as competition. Then again, it was an auction for just the disk, but seeing how much a completed version goes for, I was willing to forgo the case.
I have chibi robo in really good condition but it’s a game I can never sell. Theirs a backstory to tht game when I came home from a middle school class trip I was bullied during the trip and was crying and my mom brought me to target to buy me a game to cheer me up and got chibi robo. The game reminded me that it’s gonna be okay and it made me happy again.

Xkage 😂😂 I plan to be exactly like you. I told everyone when I get a job I'm going to spend 70% of it on games and save 30% of it
Stuff I find for cheap I don’t want I just sell for more and then basically get the stuff I want for free. I had a free N64 and all the great games for free pretty much
I’m 17 and I’ve been saving up all my money for a complete copy of fire emblem path of radiance. Now I’m gonna try and go for paper Mario the thousand year door complete.
Justin Rhodes honestly man gamecube games ful price ARE NOT worth it
I only had two gamecube games growing up, Pokemon Colosseum and Madden 06, both of which I cherished.
I’ve been trying to find paper Mario for so long I’ll probably just wait until the prices calm down
i’m just waiting for the pandemic to be over so the prices drop
Dank Caillou same here tbh
I dont think they will drop
@@khanthevideogamehunter2946 they will drop the pandemic really raised the prices of the games
I have 2 of those 5 in front, Paper Mario and Party 7, but I really want Fire Emblem Path of Radiance
Rally championship, spirits and spells, disney sports basketball, thats just a few i have that you didn't mention.. great video tho!
Glad to say that I have Skies of Arcadia: Legend!
I remember ripping that Mario parry box to shreds and throwing the mic away when I wad a child
I’m glad I was able to get most of these before the prices shot up. Another great video.
No metal gear? Isn’t that an expensive one?
Good point! I have it and somehow overlooked it. It seems to be around $75 and should have been on this list
Metal gear is a fantastic game on gamecube I enjoyed it
Isn't that game suffering from awful disc rot?
@@RustyRat Had my copy that released on day one still works no problems?
@@RustyRat my copy is still in great condition but I have someone with a flaky copy
Found fire emblem path of radiance complete on the floor in front of my local thrift when they were closed so it was free so happy i knew about its rarity/value when i saw the case peaking out from under a pile of clothes.
I have PSO episode 1+2 plus how much is that going for CIB?
Emulating chad reporting in
Fun fact the developers that made eternal darkness went on to make 2 of the worst games that essentially killed the studio.
@@brandanhall9943 insanity. There is going to be some serious buyers remorse when the pandemic price hike comes back down to earth
@@daver7178 same like I thought last year that the prices for these games kinda hit there peak but boy was I wrong.
@@daver7178 Its 100% a sellers market right now which is why I'm sitting out on buying older games.
There’s Pokémon Colosseum with the sticker posted on fb marketplace in Milwaukee WI right now. Just trying to be helpful.
With the exception of Four Swords Adventure, I have owned them all since the Game Cube generation
my twilight princess has a gold envelope with pre order postcards, my envelope is sealed. wink wink
It’s 2023 now and I just got a GameCube I think last time I played was like 08 and I’m kinda amazed at the game prices it’s insane
I remember picking up beyond good and evil for the GameCube for like like 5 bucks 11 years ago at a local game store, my how times have changed
Thank GOD I bought most of the Gamecube games I wanted before prices skyrocketed! Skies of Arcadia Legends was a bit pricey, but totally worth it for me. I also have my copy of Fire Emblem Path of Radiance that I got when it first released!
I have the alternate cover to pikmen 2 is that more or less valuable/rare I didn't even know there were different covers
The cover in this video is Canada exclusive, the US got the cover you're thinking of.
Another hard to get is Disney Basketball! Got lucky at a convention a few years back
Found Path of Radiance at a goodwill once for 1 dollar, auctioned it on Ebay and a buyer won at 200 dollars.
I was wondering what the deal was with that version. I pre-ordered my copy of Wind Waker and I got WW+OoT as two separate game cases. Still have em.
What a sweat for keeping those games from your childhood
How do you have a Twin Snakes poster in the background but that doesnt make the list?!?
I have most of my original GameCube games. Twilight Princes, Wind Waker, Paper Mario TYD, Luigi's Mansion, Skies of Arcadia, RE CV all original cases and manuals.
Video is 3 years old and I just now got Pokémon box at the inflated priced off $2k, but now my U.S. Pokémon game collection is complete 😊
Must feel good! I still need the big box of it
@@NintendoCollecting so do I but I’m not hurry for it, if you do get it give us an updated Pokémon collection video please ☺️☺️
5. Pikmin 2
4. Paper Mario Thousand Year Door
3. Skies of Arcadia Legends
2. Phantasy Star Online Plus
1. Fire Emblem Path of Radiance.
:)
My top 10 Most Valuable Games over all are.
10. Fire Emblem Path of Radiance
9. Haunting Ground /PS2
8. Radiant Silver Gun /Saturn
7. Earthbound/ Snes
6. Magic Knight Rayearth/ Saturn
5. Pocky and Rocky 2/ Snes
4. Rule of Rose/PS2
3. Kuon/PS2
2. Snatcher/ Sega Cd
1. Panzer Dragoon Saga/ Saturn
All disc games are Complete. The two Snes games are Cart only.
I have every game you showed in this video plus the games you say you missing... 😆😆😆 all in my personal gamecube collection of course.
I still have my GameCube boxed up at my parents house with about 15-20 games.
I have copy of Pokemon Box in great condition but it doesn't have the memory card. How much do you think I could get for it?
One of my favorites too
Bruh i’m been trying to find one under $80 on the gamecube but it’s crazy it’s also one of my top games i played.
I think in 20 30 years the GameCube gonna be impossible to collect due to high demand and the people for the nostalgia
Not if there's an alternate official way to play the games. It's expensive right now because there's still a lot of exclusives for it. Sunshine's price has been on a heavy decline ever since Super Mario 3D All Stars.
Snivy102 that because the GameCube is kinda a ‘’failed’’ consoles with only around 20 millions consoles sold around the world
@@adrienbrasseur8809 Every once in a while a nostalgia surge will happen for a console. 2008-2011 it was the NES 2012-2014 it was SNES 2015-2018 it was n64 and now its gamecube. Soon gamecube will be less valuable
I agree I am glad I started collecting years ago
@@Snivy102 just get a wii and hack it, literally did that and i have every game on this list.
Nice job bending the hell out of that fire emblem insert.
for sure need to get tales of symphonia as well for gc, awesome game. metal gear solid twin snakes is a amazing remake of the original as well and for now a gc exclusive, viewtiful joe 1 and 2 are great fun, personally i love star fox assault as well even though it wasnt the best one (still the n64 and 3ds remake) and finally i really loved donkey kong jungle beat as well back when it came out. and ofc f zero gx
I still have a pokemon colloseum/pokemon box double pack that was released here in the UK exclusively as part of a gamecube console bundle
You should do I video on your final fantasy collection I’m really interested to see what final fantasy games you got
Path of radiance shot up in price which is a bit upsetting
Should you hunt down more Capcom titles, I'd add P.N.03, and the Viewtiful Joe games as well. Oh, also Killer7.
Hopefully Nintendo makes a new chibi robo game someday
Zelda Windwaker limited "GOLD" edition that has an actual gold case is rare as most, at least in pal region have the regular limited edition. Also killer 7 and ultimate muscle are rare.
The launch version of pokemon colosseum have came in a blister pack with the gba adaptor !!!
