Hey folks, seems like the rear rack capacity hasn't increased with the new design. I think the older bikes where 55kg/120lbs too? Overall payload up, rack payload the same? Can't work it out from website.
Rad is rad 😎, thanks for the info. I have a RadRunner and a RadRunner Plus and I prefer the no gear original Radrunner. I have rear seats and front basket as well. Looking forward to checkout the added second battery 🔋.
I had the Rad Runner. Sold it because it didn’t have shocks. Got the Rad Runner Plus. Loved it. Got my wife one. The Rad Runner 3 Plus at this price without rear shocks is a NON STARTER!!!!
Is they make any changes, to they trikes like a bigger battery a back basket❤❤❤ I want to buy the trike but I need a basket and a bigger battery for two grand that should come free. If not, I’m going with six three zero..company
Hey there. Thanks for the reviews. I’m looking into either a radrover 6 plus step through or radrunner 3. I do a lot in the mountains scouting old trails and logging roads and am tired of my bicycle with gear. So capacity’s a big priority however I’m seeing that the radrunner has 20in tires. Have you or anyone else noticed issues off road with smaller tires? Tough one for me…my bicycle is 26.
We have a radrover 6 plus and a radrunner 3 plus. The radrunner is more efficient and a bit faster. The radrover is more designed for offroading. They both kick ass.
It’s not better though. The battery was in a perfect spot, now it’s an empty space. The front cargo box has shrunk to accommodate the in-frame battery that has key shorting issue and non replaceable fuse. It’s also about 7 pounds heavier.
how fast can rad runner 3 go and what the wattage mph for it. since in FL Florida bike can not go over 22mph or have battery over 750. if does you need drive license like motorcycle
All Rad Power Bikes come with a 750w motor and are Class 2. So they are limited to providing motor power up to 20mph on throttle and while pedaling. So you will be good to go for getting a RadRunner 3 in Flordia!
Your info is incorrect... You need to read up on class 1, 2 and 3 ebikes...You also need to read up on the power limits on the motor and not the battery.... I live in Florida and ride the trails everyday...
If RPB had designed some kind of seat post lock mechanism on this bike, they could have protected the seat from easy theft, made a double-secure location for two battery packs to be mounted closer to the center of gravity and eliminated any extra manufacturing cost with that frankly not well executed semi-integrated battery. Better price, better performance, better use of space. I think the Lectric XP 3.0 is a better value and it folds too!
Our goal is to provide the facts and our perspective on any ebike having ridden 100 plus ebikes. I don't care what ebike you buy as long as you're happy. We just ask if you do buy from a brand that happens to have an affiliate program that you use our link. We do this as a living and would love to continue that.
the radrunner is a great machine for its tough simplicity. I wouldnt touch the 3 plus cos those semi integrated batteries seem to cause a whole bunch of problems for people. Runner 1,2, plus, 2 plus give all you want from a cargo bike
Interesting. They are not a standard option on the RadRunner 2. We wish our RadRunner 2 had fenders. Cleaning grass and dirt out of near the battery is tough.
@@chrisnorris3641 in that case, the t1 tires are very smooth. Less rolling resistance than the knobbies that come on the radrunner. They aren't much bigger either
DON’T BUY FROM THEM. total scam of a company. I had the roadrunner plus for a little more than one year and the battery died. Took two months to convince customer service to send a new one (under warranty). Finally they told me they will send it but it’s not in stock and they don’t know when it will be again (!!!). Would not recommend it’s an overpriced piece of garbage.
Rad customer service is horrible... If you don't believe me look into it before you waste your money.. Other bike companies honor their warranties and help you resolve problems... Look at their Radwagon fiasco, the battery fiasco, new CEO, massive layoffs and not honoring warranties...
@@CelularesTiendaRadarAdventon adventure is $1499 and I love mine. Got it up to 33 mph and it's durable... Also have the Bentelli Fusion that has a 2 year warranty and they replaced motor without hesitation.

Thanks for sharing your perspective! We haven't found many of the rear shocks on more affordable ebikes to be of great quality.
If you're using it on road, there's no real reason to have suspension at all.
@@chrisnorris3641 there is a reason,bumpy roads

Without seeing the terrain it's hard to say but if it's hard packed old roads either should be fine.
@@EbikeEscape yeah, it’s mostly all really old gravel (rutty and some overgrown with weeds). Quite rutty as well.

Agree
yea the radrunner 3 is NOT an upgrade at all...makes the plus look like the best choice.
@@Matanumi the only big difference is the load capacity and the hydro disk brakes.
Is it easy to remove the integrated battery when the mid console is installed? On the radrunner plus 3.
It's not too bad - there is room for it.
My teen has a Rad Runner plus. I really like the design of it. The 3 plus looks nice but I'm not sure the price increase is worth it.
I do food deliveries in Toronto, and I want an e-bike with normal tires. Which e-bike do you suggest? I was thinking of radcity 5 plus
hop on over to Amego, yo ucan get same or better quality than rad with local support.
I'm in Ottawa so stuck with Pedego or Scooteretti, both high quality but both very pricey

If the "review" is selling the product, it's not a review, it's a sales pitch, and so isn't to be trusted.

So did mine. The EU version. Preinstalled.
Ahhh. Us state side folks forget the EU specs might be different. Good to know they are included across the pond.
I'd buy a roadrunner 3 right now. But there $3000 plus tax and shipping.
Thank you for the review. I compare Lectric and Rad closely. Maybe I should not but these videos help 🎈
Fiido T1 is the best radrunner
The 4" tire is too much rubber for my taste, plus I really don't like suspension on a road bike.
