I always read through the herds comments - I love you’re interactions with each other and how genuinely friendly everyone is in the comment section - Im writing this comment to say thank you for you kind words on this video - I absolutely love making videos and love the artistry and story that goes into one’s like this - I’m just sorry I’m so busy that I’m not able to make as many like this as I’d like to
You, my good sir, NEED to wear safety glasses!! Protect your eyes please!! I took a drill bit to the eye and Im lucky to still be able to see, no need for you to have to do the same.
I've been following your channel for years now, and you are an incredibly positive person and a fantastic role model. Thank YOU for sharing your little slice of life with all of us; whether it's a short clip or a thirty-plus minute video, your content is a blessing!! And this Herd is amazing too! Proud to be a small part of it!
@@ethanmiller5487 OW, hope you’re ok now!!
Whats the song you used i like it and want it
I don't know why one of your video's popped up in my feed because I had never looked up anything feet online before (maybe I looked up shoes?? lol). And I honestly thought "what is this shit??". Then curiosity got the better of me and I started watching. One video turned into 2 which turned into a few more and soon enough I'd hit the subscribe button.
As said, I don't know why, but I'm glad it did.
I'm a disabled veteran and don't get out much. I've got severe depression and anxiety. Watching your clips relaxes me, I find it calming. You are what's right with this world. You seem to be a stand-up guy and I enjoy it
Old disabled house bound dusty rusty rockhound here: I, too, have limitations that make my life more challenging. Depression, anxiety, and autoimmune disease are a daily battle. I just wanted to say hello... I'm thinking of you today. I, too, find solace in these heartfelt, beautiful videos. It does my heart good to see this young man, his family, and his team do all they can to decrease the suffering of these most noble and humble creatures. I hope you have a good day today. I'll think of you later today and send you some good thoughts today. 🐄 🐄 🐄 🐄
@@kellyharper367 I hope both of you get better. Exceedingly few humans, if any, deserve to live like that. Much love from a(n emotionally/psychologically disabled, and hence nearly housebound) stranger in Denmark.
I'm in the same boat! Not a veteran, but thanks for your service. I watch him at night, when I can't sleep. I'd love for him to voice over an audiobook. The most soothing voice I've ever heard! I love cows too. They want love, and are so friendly.
Thank you & yours for your service.
Thank you, haven't heard that for a while.
Breathtaking location. That bull is impressive. Adorable. I love when Graeme calls the cows, "little lass" "wee lass" , or "little lady". So sweet how he uses these terms of endearment for these animals he cares so deeply for.
One video he drove by the cows and said “good morning ladies” and I just about died!
I was thinking the same thing! He's such a gentleman with them.
He said recently while trimming a sore foot he had to stop “while she composes herself” so he really loves these animals ❤❤ I love his channel, team, family and The Herd.
I has humorously thinking that if my husband would sweet talk me like Graeme does his cows, he just might be a way happier man 😁!
I’m an ITU nurse and I’m thinking I need a career change. Being pooped on by cows seems much better than being pooped on by humans. And cows are so much cuter than humans. And probably smell nicer than some humans too. Weighing up the pros and cons-cows win every time.
😂😅😂😂😂😂
You definitely need a career change for sure.
Right? 😂 I went from nursing to veterinary. Two years into my degrees, I grew an allergy to many animals. Back into medical and it sucks...
It’s not the poop. It’s the kick lol
As a former colostomy and nephrostomy patient and soon to be ileostomy patient, I resemble that comment 😂😂😂😂😂😂
anyone else binging all of these videos?
Yep 😂❤
the sun is a deadly lazer
Literally seen Every one 😌💯👍 even have faves I like to go back & rewatch to relax lol 🤭☺❤🐮🐄

I face PTSD and chronic pain. Your videos help me to calm and focus again, it's relieving to see how kind and caring people and the world can be. Thank you for being you, guys ❤
Huzzah for standard camera and long-form videos! I don't know about anyone else, but seeing Scotland the way you show it and talk about it just makes my romantic heart sing.
My family loves the plush cow with her block! ❤
Best of all, my veterinary student husband graduates tomorrow!
Tell him Congratulations, and to you to!
Congratulations to the new doctor!
Congratulations to your husband!
Congratulations to him for all his hard work! 🎉
Congratulations to you all!!!!
I’ve come to love cows in a way I never thought I would.
I like how the farmer was so involved with the husbandry of his animals.
All good farmers are
Have you ever been tempted to contact the SSPCA ? That’s a disgrace .
@@Mountainman2468 what does that stand for? Both the acronym amd the organisation
Great one again you definitely live in a beautiful part of the country 👍👏
@@baileyjerman5557 SPCA stands for Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, I'd assume the SSPCA is just Scottish SPCA, but idk too much on the topic myself just knew I could answer part of the question lol
I love that it’s clear how much you and the farmers care for the cattle under your care
What a beautiful part of Scotland ❤
And such gentle giants. Even the bull was still friendly after hanging in the crush.... 😄
My daughter loves the songs that accompany all your videos as we usually watch them at night nap time, the sound of your voice gets her to sleep under 5 minutes, and we are so grateful 😁
Anyone else notice how thick Graeme’s accent gets when he talks to the farmers? 😂
I’d love a video of the guys just having a few drinks and answering FAQs and watch as their accents get thicker and they get funnier.
Yes I noticed immediately! As a rural Canadian currently living in Vancouver, and experiencing similar, it gave me a good chuckle ❤
My husband's from Missouri. He was in professional radio for a while and normally speaks with almost no accent at all, but I can ALWAYS tell when he's been talking to his mom or someone else from back there, because the accent thickens up like crazy :D
So we'll need subtitles for the real down home Graeme, Craig, and Kevin 😂
I'm Indian American and I usually have no accent... but with my parents or the extended family, I develop one. It's like code switching in miniature.
Canadian born and raised - you should hear me when I get back from visiting my Kansas relatives! I listen to cbc nonstop when I get home, so I can re-integrate
My great grandfather was from your area and until watching your videos I had no idea how beautiful it is! He moved to Colorado, USA as a young man and became the largest breeder of quarter horses in the US. I really wish I had traveled to Scotland when I was young. ❤
Weird question: does temperature ever impact your work? Do hooves trim differently in winter vs summer?
Oh good question, I'm wondering too? Also, does it get too cold or hot to do the trim or better to wait ?
Wow! That place is a dream 😍 I’m in the Midwest USA and I’d absolutely LOVE to go visit there. Just breathtaking scenery
I love the respect you have for these animals. It's more than "just a job" for you and is certainly why you do such an excellent trim for them. My utmost respect to you😊❤
I have seen many curved hooves but the explanation you gave for why it curves is the best I’ve ever heard.
This is one of your better videos so far. Thank you for teaching us. I love the scenic views. It makes me want to visit.
This was an excellent post. Graeme, Craigie Boy and Kevin and the Farmer!
I love when the cows look at the drone like, " What the hell is this?"
GP: cows have 2 moods "whats that? 😮" and "What's that?! 😟"
Aliens! Aliens, Barbara! Get in the shed!! 🐄🐄🐄🤣🤣🤣
Beautiful intro showing off the beautiful country you are so proud of. Your choice of music never disappoints.
Yes, love the hills, grass, and the fields are beautiful
The introduction into this video was absolutely gorgeous. Thank you for the special treat.
The first three minutes of beautiful scenery plus wonderful music actually made me cry. I lost my husband just before Christmas. We were planning to move to Dumfries and Galloway because Phil used to be a dairy farmer and also wanted to be near the dark skies centre. I'm struggling to finish getting our croft on the Isle of Lewis ready to sell but your video reminded me why we fell in love with D&G. Thank you for the inspiration. xxx
I’m so sorry for your loss! ❤
Sending you peace and healing for your loss from Virginia, USA. Though I don’t know what you are going through, I can appreciate how the music and scenery can touch your heart.
I’m so sorry, it must be so hard for you. I hope you find a lovely place to move to.
His voice is so gentle and caring. My troubles roll down my face as I listen to him talk. I am so sorry for your loss and send you hugs, love, and hope for healing.
So sorry for your loss, prayers of Love and Light to you🙏✨️🙏
Fantastic! I love the longer videos with gorgeous drone footage. I find them so relaxing 😘
The music! The music!
Yes! I love the music too
Me too! Scotland is a beautiful country and the views that Graeme shows us are so different than the American country side. I’m visiting Scotland in September and hope it’s still got some of that vibrant green!
Scotland is so beautiful. Love your videos. Blessings to you.
You called the first cow, Little Lady. That was sweet. What an amazing farm and such beautiful land to be living on as cattle. Perfection

I have no business here except curiosity & sensory relief/relaxation, been watching your channel for 2 years and I love it, keep it up! 🐮🩶
Everything is so stunningly verdant, I can't help but wish I lived there too
I'm studying for vec tech and I've just discovered your channel and I'm obsessed!!!! I really admire your work, you're truly amazing and it shows in the way you work. Thank god people like you work in this field
Depending upon where you live, you might be able to watch hooves worked on by volunteering at your local humane society. When they get a hooved animal into the practice you could assist their docs..
I love that you could hear a difference. A true professional at your craft. Well done, sir! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Your videos with those drone images be the Scottish coast are awesome !! Thanks for this gift to our eyes and souls ! Exceptional beauty ! Such a great planet ! Let’s keep it for our future generations !
Beautiful country and a meaningful job! How blessed are you, HoofGP? These are fun to watch. I always do love watching experienced people work, whether it is a potter throwing a pot, a painter painting a wall or a hoof guy trimming a hoof, a job I didn't even know existed! You are an educator, you know!
Thank you so much for taking us with you on your daily journeys. The scenery is so beautiful! It feels like I am with you taking all that beauty in. Your kindness, attention to detail and empathy do you credit. Also thanks for the great music!
Gorgeous shots of the landscapes. Scotland has always been on my list of places I want to go. I really enjoy watching you guys work, and the cows are just so cute! Thank you for sharing!
It's really beautiful, especially if you go north tothe big hills
Am I sadistic to be watching these videos??? i live in Cambridge, Mass. A city in the U.S. You guys are amazingly caring for our food producers. Nice job with your work. INSPIRING. Even for a city slicker.💓☦✝🙏👍🤗
Thank you Graeme, it's been a long time since I've heard you say "sand cracks" and have you do a 30 min video like you used to.
I'm not complaining, I'm thrilled with this video. I know they are hard work and I appreciate it. Cheers.
It's amazing to me how many different people in the world are absolutely taken in by these videos. Even if you've never seen a cow in person in your life, a lot of the herd seems to feel a kinship and a comfort in watching a complete stranger ease the pain and suffering of these great beasts. It's really nice to see, in the world we live in today, that this is the sort of thing people seem to instinctively know to come together over.
Also, I don't know if you can tell by the way I've written that, but I... may have watched too many of these in a row. Starting to type like he talks, I swear...
I watched a different guy the other day and he has no time or care like this guy🤦♂️
The idea that there are people in the world who have never seen a cow is WILD to me. Especially considering how many burgers and gallons of milk most of them have probably consumed...
Scotland is SO beautiful!
Who is doing the Music for your videos?
Wow wow wow what a beautiful place to live and work. Thank goodness these cows have your knowledge and grinder/knife skills to put them right ❤
I sometimes feel so sad for the pain these creatures are in but it's such a gift to see how you care for them and work to bring them back to healthy hooves. what skill and craftsmanship❤
Loved the analogy of the paper curling to describe how cows' hooves end up in this shape. You have a fantastic way of making this subject understandable for us all! Thank you Graeme ❤
Beautiful video. Friend of many years just visited Scotland. She's so in love with Scotland and wants to go back. Loves the coos. Have a terrific day.
I have been with you from the beginning Graham. The love and care you show to these animals is incredible and your love of this life is admirable. Cheers mate from Mission Beach in Far North Queensland, Australia.
Why? Why?? Why are these videos so addictive???
I visited Scotland back in 2001. Home of my ancestors. The country is so beautiful!! I live in Maine, USA.I grew up on the coast and now are in the mountain woods. Scotland reminds me of Maine but the beauty is definitely different! I have always wanted to go back but will probably never get there. I thank you for combining the love and care of animals ( mainly cows) and the sharing of your wonderful country!! I never knew cows feet needed such care until I started watching you. You are a great teacher!
This is by far my FAVORITE video you’ve ever made. Loved all the education, scenery, and music you chose. I really enjoy your videos. Kudos!! 😎😎
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE you guys!! I'm a farmer's daughter & animal lover. You guys show much love & care in your work. Thank you for all you do in educating with great compassion & intelligence! God bless you all
Thank you Graeme, Craigie Boy and Kevin…..that was a beautiful drive to the farm and fun watching the trim. ❤️🇦🇺🏴
Does the type of overgrowth on the cow with the very long upturned hoof become chronic, once it has happened? Will the hoof continue to grow upwards from now on?
Thanks for taking us with you on your daily adventures, and for showing us Scotland's beauty along with these beautiful cows.
Scotland is an amazing country. I too am glad we get to go on these trips.
Yeah
Hi love the videos and how well you work used to work on farms many yrs ago. My question is not good related it’s music related who sings your title music it’s a very catchy tune and would like to be able to listen to more if possible many thanks in advance. Keep the videos coming all of you work well together.
Having a solid understanding of how the financial market operates is crucial before delving into market chart analysis. That's why I'm grateful for the knowledge I gained from Gerald Vega’s trade signals and trading advice, which were instrumental in guiding me towards successful Bitcoin trading. It's worth noting that technical analysis skills are just one piece of the trading puzzle. Emotional intelligence and discipline are equally important aspects to focus on.
Instead of trying to time the market, it's better to invest time and remain composed during turbulent market conditions. Adopting this mindset has allowed me to significantly increase my earnings within just a few months of working with Gerald Vega
@Geraldvega
He's active on TELEGRAMS with the name above..
Market is just being manipulated, and this is a great opportunity to buy more dip. Because it will be at affordable price
It's remarkable to have faith in someone who can consistently deliver profits under any circumstances, and they never disappoint. I trust Gerald Vega implicitly, and since trading with him, it's been nothing but victories…
Riding the market wave entails understanding the market volatility,Gerald Vega has been doing an awesome job reviewing the charts, enabling me to capitalize on the volatility via day trading.
If you lightly tap them with the pole, it lessens the likely hood of being kicked. The pole, if you guys notice has a ball of tape on the end. That’s to prevent the stick from becoming sharp or from harming any cattle from stepping on it. Moo to you too! 🤗
Moo!!! To you,too! 🐄 🐄 🐄
Oh wow, such a beautiful place. Great
trim as always. You backed up that truck like a boss😊
I so love the respect and care you show towards the Cows & you’re explanation for using the stick (basically an extension for the arms)
You sir are AMAZING!
I will be in Scotland this July and every time I happen to see a cow, I will wonder if it is one you trimmed :)
I love the music and the beautiful Scotland country. Each story and lesson you give is educational and touching. Thank you for your love and caring for these underrated animals. You guys work so hard, love the Green crush! It’s one of my favorites!
I find it very interesting watching you correct those over grown and curved hoof horns. The transformation afterwards is amazing.
I’m 73. One would think I’d know that cows and horses hooves keep growing. NOT....lol. You have taught me so much. 🐂🌹
One of those times I'm really glad you made the trip. Loved the scenery, but the hoof work is on the order of saving lives and health. Good teamwork, double-teaming to get work done on the feet, reducing crush time.
Thanks for another great video and your kind comment. I really like these slightly longer videos with multiple cows and/or bulls. They're a great change of pace from some of the more extreme trims and help us understand your day-to-day work better. Thanks for all you do and thanks to your customers for sharing their lives with us.
Oooh thank you for the new drone footage! I love seeing your country. I've not been to the ocean in too long, and it's odd for an American to see a farm right up against the coastline. We're not built like that for the most part.
Your channel's also changed how I think about the world in an odd way I didn't expect until I caught myself at it. I gave my dog a filled cow hoof to chew yesterday (looked like an inner left front claw) and caught myself critiquing the trim before I handed it to her. I'd have shortened up the toe a good inch or more at least but the dog's enjoying it anyway. Made me wonder, do the Frenchies get bits off trimmed hooves, etc. to chew if they go to work with you, or do you think it would start a bad habit in them?
My steer MOJO loved being guided with the stick..because he always got the BEST back scratches with it during and afterwards 😂.something about the texture could give him scratches in all his favourite places..I think the stick was more just to tap which direction I wanted him to walk ,he was also halter trained! Bovine are so wonderful critters ❤❤
That's so cute
It makes me want to vacation there- just gorgeous! I’m in America I grew up around a rodeo and bulls at no joke !
As always, Mr GP, love all your care & education of all you do. The farmer was surely put at ease knowing how careful and caring you are, while giving him the information he sought. Always a joy watching and learning.
The scenery is absolutely breathtaking and the music so wonderful, thank you, Good Sirs (Kev & Craig included) for such marvelous content. 🥰
Have to say the footage in this video os breathtaking. Im so happy the cows in your area have you to help them, your compassion is showing in spades
I too am disabled & on chemo treatment days I don’t sleep those nights & found these to be rewarding & seeing their world is relaxing for me as well.
All my favorite RUclipsrs are making plushies, and I'm literally running out of room in my house for them! But you can bet your bovi-bond I'm buying yours next! Love you guys, and the amazing content you push out. Viva la Hoof GP!
I love that it's named for his sister lol
My little sister loves these videos so much that she decided to share it with me. I love Scotland and the language. I squealed with joy after seeing the first video. Needless to say, I subscribed immediately! Joy, joy! It's so fascinating what you do !
You go about your craft with such enthusiasm! It's refreshing to see someone that truly likes what they do and cares for the animals! It's also strangely mesmerizing to watch!!! Great channel!
All your customers look happy.
Love seeing the gorgeous landscape of Scotland
Always enjoy seeing the beautiful countryside of Scotland through your videos. Also it is always educational as you explain what you are doing whilst trimming the hooves. Those animals are lucky to have you and your team going to their farms to give them their spa treatments. 💕 from Perth, Australia 🇦🇺
It’s amazing how positive and uplifted you can feel just from watching a hgp video😂. Ya’ll are so genuine with care for those tanks, more people should have that kinda care for their work man😂
I'm a new fan from Calgary. I grew up with horses and am used to seeing the trimming and care of their hooves. I must say I am really enjoying the banter, talent and expertise of you boys.
Long time viewer, unfortunatly, I'm introducing a new viewer, my kitten, and she thinks it's great fun to try and 'help' with the hoof trimming.
They always try to help.
@@haggielady she also likes to try and help in other tasks too, like reading. She is sure that if she bats at my eyes, it'll make the process so much faster so I can get back to really important things! There must be a string somewhere that needs dangling over her, and I an clearly neglecting my duties as assigned string dangler
Who knew that videos about fixing cows (and bull's) hooves could be so rivetting! Have to say that the videography, the music, and the information given are all top-notch and all in all a brilliant watch.
I love how much you care for these cows and how much effort you put into your job
So many beautiful shots of the coast and the countryside! And your skills at backing up and wrangling the crush in no space at all are really amazing!
Excellent video
Graham !! I am Elly from Lisse in the Netherlands … and I love what you do for a living, I like Scotlands countryside, not always its weather though !! I love your interaction with your brothers in law, but most of all: the scottisch language and your humor !! Say hi to misses GP and your boys and keep on doing what you do !!! Kind regards from the NL !! ❤
Maybe it's because I've learned so much already from watching all your videos, but I think this might be one of your calmest and most lecture-like videos to date and I love it! You're a great teacher, probably because apart from skilled, you're also so very passionate.
Every time you mention the different breeds of cows you trim it reminds me of when I was in high school agriculture science class 16 years ago. We had whole sections on livestock breeds, grading livestock, slaughterhouses and meat cuts, meat grading, milk production and dairy farms. It was considered an easy A class and to me it really was. I even joined the FFA (Future Farmers of America) for my school and went to grading contests. Apparently that is a thing and I didn't know about it until then. Anyway, I love it wen you mention the different breeds because I like to try to guess them and see how often I get it right. I get it right about 90%of the time still! My favorite breed is obviously the Highland but my second is the Beefalo (don't know if you've heard of that one), and my third is Guernsey. What is yours? Also, are hooves different in each breed of cow? If so how?
Breathtaking views and fantastic work as always, Graeme! Love to see the level of care you put in to every hoof you trim.
I want to thank you for sharing what you do. Coming across The Hoof GP I had no idea and I am so glad I have learnt something new this week. I am so grateful that it has subtitles as I am hearing impaired in both ears. I am watching you guys from Melbourne, Australia and I really enjoy how you go the extra mile in explaining what your doing, why , how it gets to that stage to need treatment and what to do treating the hoof. I call that fantastic customer service skills. You make it so interesting in what you guys are doing, that it maybe a good 30 mins before its time to watch another one. How you interact with each other , you all know what is required of your role in working together. Love the scenery around your travels to different farms. So good to see and hear how proud you are of where you live. I feel the same way about Melbourne.
Well done .
I like how the bull loved his pedicure so much, he ended up laying down relaxing... Oh that was missing for him was a glass of wine.
The hoofs actually looked painful even though the cows did not seem to be affected by them. That's amazing to me.
He did a fantastic job as always!!!!
I am also severely disabled and verging on going blind, thank you diabetes, but I also get joy from watching your shenanigans 😅 and I adore the places you get to call your office, what a blessing xxx
I sure enjoy listening to your explanations Graham, your genuine love for these animals comes through with a really cool Scottish accent sir. You could listen to you nonstop. I’ve considered myself a music person but your choice of music is fantastic
Graeme there is a guy using your name @thehoofgpclips or something like that. He is showing your clips and saying all of us viewers are weird & strange for wanting to see you solve infections on your hoof trims. Please can you do something about him. This jerk showed up on my feed because I have been a deficated viewer of yours for years. I don't really care what his opinion is but to ask what is wrong with us All & provoke people with his comments just to get viewers is terribly wrong! He's selectively using parts of your clups and using most of your name for his site. Really dislike worms like that. Love your channel and All you do for these wonderful cows. Have a good day.😊🐄🐄🐄🐄
Never had anything to do with farming other than taking my children to a few in the Northwest but I love this channel and I love to see people who genuinely work hard can become successful especially in a family business, I work in my families business in Plant undercarriage repairs and equipment and work 7 day weeks trying to build a career, so on some days it really helps seeing what is possible with passion and hard work, keep them coming :)
I always think being in the crush, hanging by being supported in the trunk, would feel like a load was taken off their legs/feet. Like an antigravity chair!😂😂
Isn’t living in Scotland amazing! And finding this channel just makes me glad to live in such a wonderful country.
Hi, Texas, USA here, I love your videos and the care you’re giving the bovine species, love your beautiful country and scenery also. Be well and safe and much love to all ❤.
It is always good to hear the farmers asking you questions and passing onto you their knowledge of the cows. Although you are busy you have time to have conversations with farmers about the herd, which helps maintain the health and wellbeing of the cows.
This channel is just so very engrossing! I don’t know how l came here but after watching one video l was absolutely hooked!!
The way you treat every cow you come across is admirable. The compilation of the videos means you learn as well as being entertained. I am now subscribed and eagerly await new videos. Thankyou Graeme for all you are doing. I wish you and your team the very best now and for the future. God bless. Big hugs from Australia!!
Brilliant episode, beautiful scenery, lots of info on the cattle - I really enjoy all that you, Craig and Kevin do. Also, I need Kirsty in my world - looking forward to receiving her and I promise I'll make sure her feet are well looked after 😊. Thank you
Is there any cow jealousy when a few girls get stylish wraps and bold nail polish? 😎
Im Canadian and used to have cows on our horse ranch as child. Ive never heard of trimming cows feet until i found your channel. I love how u care for the cows and ease their pain, interact with all your family members and are teaching your kids too. Scotland the land of my ancestors is gorgeous and i love seeing it thru your eyes. And u always pick the best music. I love being part of your herd. Cheers and blessings to u all.
