I did this work out for the first time today. I couldn’t make it to the pool, so I stood in my living room with a chair for balance. This gives me a whole new appreciation for the aqua fit instructors who have to stand on the side of the pool and lead exercises. It kicked my booty. I can’t wait to do it in the water. I enjoyed switching up my pool workout with this video. This is the first time I’ve used a noodle under my foot for resistance and was pleasantly surprised by how well that worked. Definitely a keeper. Thanks Stacey.

Hi Stacey. Me and my friends do this workout at our local pool as im waiting for knee replacement. Is it possible to get this one without the musicjust your instructions as im thinking about other oeople who use the pool. Obviously i can mute the volume but i find the instructions really helpfull. Hi I’m obsessed with your workouts! I’m a disabled veteran and water workouts are the only way I don’t get intense joint pain! Is there a way to do hip thrust workout move in the water? Pls help I want the benefits! Haha
Hi there! Thanks for your comment....so appreciate you tuning in to workout with me! I, too, LOVE the hip thrust and know there are so many great benefits. Being that it targets glutes and hamstrings, there are a variety of other exercises you can do such as single leg deadlift tips, with a plunge of a noodle down; donkey kicks, and glutes squeezes. I have some creative ways to do a hip thrust-like movement in the water and I will try to incorporate a hip thrust version into one of my upcoming workouts....message me if you need anything else.

How many times a week should I do this?
When you do toning exercises, you should give yourself a day or two of rest and recovery in between. Be sure to listen to your body.
Can I add ankle weights?
Yes, ankle weights will increase intensity.
