    Just finished RGh3'ing my trinity r2d2 special edition thanks to you, watching your tutorial gave me the confidence to do it. Ive hacked pretty much every device Ive ever owned in some way, but never a 360. I have wanted to do it since I was 13, so thank you for real. It wasnt my first time soldering but I havent done it since I was 15 (I am 25 now)

    On my first RGH install with a trinity board, I messed up the post point as well. Couldn't get solder onto the point and as I kept trying, it just made it worse. (Was using a really garbage soldering iron. Ordered a micro soldering Iron to arrive the next day) So after some research, I learned on a forum you can just flip the motherboard back over and scrape away at a via at STP5D1 and solder your wire there. I had to do this and it worked like a charm.

      Yep! That's a good alternative point to use, although quite small. The only thing I fear about that is most people who messed up the big POST point probably won't be able to successfully get that alternative. Awesome you managed to get it!

    I just left a comment on another video talking about me fucking up hitting the post point. And this video was in the endscreen. Absolutely gonna buy one of these for my trinity

    Good video clarifying this. Did you get the idea for this video from the 360hackss subreddit? That guy was having a mental breakdown about the POST point on his Trinity yesterday.

      Nope, but it was perfect timing 🤣 I had this video recorded, uploaded, and scheduled at least a week prior.
      This question will forever be asked, though.

    having trouble with my trinity so looking to try a post fix to see if it help so where on the board does the wire solder to from the post fix adapter is it to POST or SMC_POST ??

    • @MrMario2011
      @MrMario2011  4 месяца назад

      The POSTfix adapter replaces POST

  • @OzVball

    For the postfix adapter v2 on a trinity board, do you run a cable from SMC post from the back to the front and solder it to the postfix adapter? If so, what spot do you solder it to on the adapter?

    • @MrMario2011
      @MrMario2011  5 месяцев назад

      Instead of soldering to POST on the motherboard, you solder to one of the breakout pads on the adapter. Solder to whichever one has continuity to it when tested, I think on the V1 only POST_6 works.

    I have some spare adapters. I had some Coronas I never could read the NAND on. SD card adapter fail... Any tips for corrupt 4GB Corona firmware?

      Reading can be tricky, could be your soldering points. I managed with Pico after few attempts and using very thin wires

      Try a different sd card reader. The cheapest no name ones looking like a flash drive are the best for this job.

    • @MrMario2011
      @MrMario2011  Год назад +1

      The SD card method is very picky about which SD card readers it works with. I've personally had no issue with the xFlasher360

    Greetings from Bulgaria. What is the cheapest flasher for the Xbox 360? Could I just remove the nand from an usb flash drive and solder some wires to the Xbox?

      Corona v4 can be read with sd card reader, i’m serious. The cheapest one you find, the better.

      Pico, if its single use, you can reuse it later for something else

    I can’t find what can be the problem I did many RGH 3.0 on different models by following your videos I never got this and I can’t find anywhere the solution . Did you get some issues like this and what can cause this problem ….thank you for your videos helping me a lot

      Try changing the timing? You dont even need to reopen it, just dump your nand with homebrew, edit it in jrunner and rewrite it with the homebrew (forgot the name of the tool)

      I can't remember, but only one of the pads has connectivity. I believe it was 6, but you would have to test it with a multimeter.
