I love how when Mark is with Bob and Wade, they’re mainly just dicking around the whole time, no matter what the game. But when he’s alone. He takes it all seriously and actually progresses pretty well.
I think that's exactly the reason he's doing it solo. While Mark has fun goofing around with the boys, he also wants to play the game. No offense to Bob and Wade but they were never gonna finish the game together, which I think was Mark's ultimate goal.

@missyblack8005 ah I see. Although my point still stands as we can see that Mark is making infinitely more progress in this playthrough in only even 2 episodes than he did in the other playthrough with the 4(?) episodes they did then.
Which is why i much prefer videos without them. Not to say i dont like em and wen i want a good laugh i tune in to watch tem goof but i much prefer watching a game be played rather than people playing around within a game

I have been WAITING for more Forest anything. Whenever I’m feeling kinda down or depressed I watch the whole play through of the first game with Bob and Wade. It’s always very comforting.

"What? What is that?" You exclaim, as the crashing gets louder.
Suddenly, you hear a loud voice yelling: "I AM SPEEEEEED!".
Your fear is then replaced by reassurance, as out of the trees, Markiplier comes barreling through in a golf cart, declaring: "FEAR NOT CITIZEN, FOR I AM HERE TO SAVE YOU!".
Your reassurance is replaced by fear once again, as he aggressively speeds towards you and almost commits vehicular manslaughter.
He's not the hero we deserve, but he is every bit the hero we need.

in case anybody is curious, press G to holster things (or whatever your drop button is), and the shark only spawns after you swim out to the raft. If you shoot the shark once while it's opposite the island, it'll swim away from the raft, giving you the space to swim back to shore
You can also kill the shark by just shooting it.
Mark when swimming out to life raft: "I still havent finished below zero"
also Mark: (realizes he's in the ocean) 'panicked mark noises'
I love how much the music on the golf cart changes the whole vibe of what's going on.
Mark: "Stay here Kelvin!"
Also Mark when hes 200m away: "Why are you staying there Kelvin?!"
This series is absolutely perfect for Mark. The strange mix of comedy, action and pure horror, is genuinely amazing. This is also the first series of Sons of the forest, where I felt genuinely invested with the story. Also can we appreciate Mark's impeccable timing, from the lightning strike near the end, to the perfectly cut lyrics.
I just love how whenever I feel uncomfortable in a scary game anymore and I look to Mark's face for comfort, I get more freaked out cause his eyes are going in different directions. Thanks Lixian :I lol There is no more comfort here in desperate times.

Yeah but to be fair, this is not his first playthrough, in the first one with Bob and Wade, they already encountered attacks by the natives, so it makes sense for him to just attack them as soon as he encounters them. Especially since in the first playthrough there was no sense of "lets try to understand this game."

Hey mark, i know you probably aren’t going to see this but I just want you to know if you feel like you aren’t pleasing anybody well enough or you feel like you won’t leave behind a legacy that’s good enough for people to be proud of just know that there are people out there that don’t have a legacy or have done something that they are ashamed of and that’s the only thing that they are remembered by.
You are enough and most of your fan base may not say it but they mean as you have been around for my entire childhood and you have brought so much joy and happiness to my 13 year old brain and you will always be enough for me
I was inspired to write this comment because I saw a sad core video that shows how people that can seem so happy all the time can have moments where feel at their lowest and mark was the example so I just came to say hi and that mark is enough

I can’t wait until Bob and Wade see these videos, are like “wtf we thought we were playing this together how could you mark”, Wade complains while Bob grumbles, Mark *graciously* invites them to this new playthrough, Mark gives them crap about how he has to go back through the caves to get stuff for them and is all dramatic about it, they stop playing for a while, fans are like “I guess Bob and Wade left Mark alone in the wilderness again”, and THEN they finally finish it together.
