Not really. The first phase is easy and you can quickly end it with lighting buff, the second phase just use fire and turn around him and you good. Who 🙄 it really goes hard, extremely hard fight🤨

There alot of insanely good bosses in ds3 he missed slave knight gael, dragon slayer armor, i forgot the name but the one in the tundra dlc and still more good ones he missed
I can’t lie, idk if it’s because I’m new to Elden ring or not, but I genuinely found it tedious with the boss fights, not in the good way where it’s only as hard as you make it, but meaning that some just have monstrous hp and it becomes a chip-away fest.

Problem with elden ring is boss give so little opening (without summon). Even when i go dex arc build i end up play like strenght build (guard counter, jump atk, charge atk) cause if i use light atk i just get 2-3 slash at best.
Definitely Dark Souls 3. I had over 1,000 hours in that game and my character was maxed out. Sadly, the hard drive failed in my PS4 and i lost it all. I bought a new PS4 and I'm working towards it again. I'll get there eventually.
Guys, i agreed with this as i think DS3 has waaaaaay better bosses, however I got a vs on mind and it's melting my mind... I can't decided between Gael or Godfrey/Hoarah Loux, they're my favorite bosses (aside Isshin) of all from software, i literally can't figure it out
The nameless king is so simple in just 2 hours I was already able to no hit while it took me 70 hours to be able to no hit malenia and 40 hours to beat her
When I played DS3 and beat nameless king I thought that was it, I finally did git gud and now there’s no boss that I can’t defeat then fromsoft thought it would be too funny to bring Darkeater to show me that I am indeed not that guy
Problem with Elden Ring is boss bloat. There are some incredible bosses in this game. Radagon, Melania, Morgott, and so on and so forth... but then you have Morgott the first time, Morgott on the road, Mohg in the sewer, 600 Dragons before the big one, a million godskin nobles, and that cheapens the fights. Because the other From Soft games are linear, or more perhaps more accurately said smaller, the bosses have more intelligent design, more unique fighting style, better placement, and thay just makes the boss fights all around better.

I think by himself, Radagon is actually one of the best final bosses in the Souls series. Add in Elden Beast though and well it becomes a problem, even though i did like the fight i can't deny that it feels kinda tedious.
Radagon felt like fighting a hollow shell and i know he was meant to be that way. However soul of cinder did it better. Eventhough SOC is also a shell for past souls of cinder but it felt fuller. SOC got multiple ways of fighting us using multitude of weapons & especially at the end fighting with the soul of gwyn. SOC is honestly more fun to fight than Radagon.

Charging into battle against Radahn with an army of warriors, who want to prove their strength is one of the most amazing moments in the game. The Elden beast for me, although the mechanics might be a pain, is visually and audibly one of the most impressive fights I’ve ever experienced. Whereas I found the Soul of Cinder to be too easy for a final boss. Not to mention Malenia, who is my favourite Souls boss after SS Isshin. She is tough af, but when you learn to manoeuvre around her Waterfowl. 😩 It becomes like a dance sequence every time I fight her.
Radahn is a joke after they nerfed him and the army kills him so quick, little to no effor involved, elden beast is tedious and boring compared to radagon and even Godfrey before them, and Melanias fight is based on how well you can dodge waterfowl dance because otherwise she is incredibly easy and can be stun locked for most of her health bar
It's all perspective from Individuals pov & there's nothing wrong with that's how it should be. If Elden Ring is your entry point into souls it'll take the cake if DS3 was your entry point it would & DS1 etcetera. Then there's just preference on what the Individuals favorite game is or bosses. Variety is great & discussion back & forth is great.

The fight with radahn: the build up from the festival, the massive area and battle between radahn and you along with the summons, and the aftermath that led to a star crashing in limegrave made radahn the most epic fight within the series for me as it feels like you were truly fighting a demigod , however the fight was so great that it made every other bosses/demigods feel like they were just in the way, but that’s my opinion😅
the nameless king is something you want from the first chapter and the soul of cinder is everything i wanted from the final boss, he is one like you, who came first and united with all those who bound inheriting their abilities.. .in concept is literally The Final Boss the way it was told I expected a soul of cinder 2.0 from radagon, but he like Gwyn or Vendrick (it's not a defect) he is the shadow of himself, indeed he is not even that, which is fascinating from the point of view of the lore and plot, but as a fight I wanted something else

Soul of cinder is the coolest fucking final boss in the entire soulsborne franchise, the fact that we're fighting ourselves from the first game as well as gwyn and the hundreds of others who lit the first flame, and showing it by switching fighting styles making it feel like a PvP fight more than a boss, then switching midway through from this badass epic orchestal theme to the sad piano tune we all know and cry over with gwyn's blade, all happening at what's seemingly the end of the world A flawless boss fight to what I consider a perfrct trilogy
Rahdahn makes me kinda sad 'cause after the nerf I've always beaten him first try or after just a few tries and I miss the old Rahdahn. It's too easy now
i just love how easy the lore of ds3 is and how amazingly it is conveyed threw bossfights, on elden ring, like half the time i dont even know what the fuck is going on, the only emotional moment of any sort was the condition of the böacksmith, he made me start a new game plus, just so hes "happy" again..
-Nameless King actually feels more balanced compared to Malenia, the latter just pushing the difficulty through the roof -Souls of Cinder is deeply linked to the lore of the game. To me it's a tie, Elden Beast/Radagon are more polished and Epic while SoC is more thematic and balanced -Radahn easily surpasses the Abyss Watchers, as the fights perfectly conveys how it is to challenge a rotting demigod of gargantuan strenght

Soul of cinder is the coolest fucking final boss in the entire soulsborne franchise, the fact that we're fighting ourselves from the first game as well as gwyn and the hundreds of others who lit the first flame, and showing it by switching fighting styles making it feel like a PvP fight more than a boss, then switching midway through from this badass epic orchestal theme to the sad piano tune we all know and cry over with gwyn's blade, all happening at what's seemingly the end of the world
A flawless boss fight to what I consider a perfrct trilogy

i just love how easy the lore of ds3 is and how amazingly it is conveyed threw bossfights, on elden ring, like half the time i dont even know what the fuck is going on, the only emotional moment of any sort was the condition of the böacksmith, he made me start a new game plus, just so hes "happy" again..

-Nameless King actually feels more balanced compared to Malenia, the latter just pushing the difficulty through the roof
-Souls of Cinder is deeply linked to the lore of the game.
To me it's a tie, Elden Beast/Radagon are more polished and Epic while SoC is more thematic and balanced
-Radahn easily surpasses the Abyss Watchers, as the fights perfectly conveys how it is to challenge a rotting demigod of gargantuan strenght
