I’m always surprised when people put DS3 low down on their list of favorite fromsoft titles. But even if the nostalgia doesn’t land, you still have arguably the highest average quality of bosses in this game, with some truly spectacular ones mixed in! Imo this game nailed the balance of being difficult yet fun, and will always be one of my favorite games to replay.
Agreed, personally i could not fathom placing DS1 over DS3 apart from maybe out of nostalgia. And i could not understand how people talk about Bloodborne as if it's light years ahead of DS3, DS3 is top tier, and i'm glad people are starting to see that now. Best boss roster and arguably the best soundtrack in the series.
@The Profaned Black Knight I tried my absolute damnedest to enjoy Ds1 more than Ds3 but the only 2 things that are genuinely better in Ds1 are the journey/world and the actual Lore itself surrounding the land, Gwyn, Manus and Artorias. Honorable mentions are some side quests, intricate details in the environment, and severing tails for more weapons but that's about it. The best bosses in the game to fight are Artorias and Manus by a long shot but they hold up beautifully. Most of the osts are pretty dull and the movesets are super basic but still endearing. I'd say the main reason for this is I never played these games until Bloodborne, then I got Ds3 and played backwards to Ds1 because I sort of had my own story going on with my character. Ds3 is incredibly linear but it's like a short and sweet boss rush game in a world that's collapsing under eons of kingdoms and wars with a beautiful dlc to go with it. It's a matter of preference but Ds3 pvp was so lame all I did was play the story and ended up beating it 23 times
Really good video, however I think that with the Yhorm fight, a large part of why he is so loved, is because of the Siegward storyline that's interwoven with Yhorm
Exactly, there is only two bossfight below c tier and the amount of bossfights that are tier s can easily be like 8-10 bossfights, best bossfights of the series unless shadows of the erdtree have a lot of S tier bossfights
@@Ghorda9 yeah, i should have said overall, becuase of godfrey and mogh being at the level of the best ds3 bossfights, but overall, i enjoy more the ds3 bossfights, elden ring has like a lot of A tier bossfights for me
The entire game of DS3 is slept on imo. Too many good bosses and soundtracks and yet people will say it's bad because there is too much of the color grey😭😭. Also maybe I'm just too good bit when I hear people complain I about Anor Londo being brought back I alaways wonder why because your only there for like 15-20 minutes anyway.
ive never heard or seen anyone sat oceiros was their favourite aside from me so far, i loved his voice and the transition to his second phase whilst he loses all sense of what he is or was, really stood out to me as an enjoyable boss and made it my favourite.
While the interconnected level-design from DS1 is missed, I can appreciate DS3 for (in my opinion) having the best bosses in the series. It's a really solid experience.
I'd argue the interconnected level-design isn't what makes a game good. Most other Souls games don't have it either, It's strange how I only ever see DS3 being criticized for the lack of it.
From my experience it's because how funneled it feels early on. You get to firelink then fast travel away. No way to get back their (by foot not counting night mode) or reason to be there to get to another area in 1 and 2 their are multiple paths to go from the hub while in 3 you just warp away
Midir is definetly not overrated for me. Hes by far the best dragon in the series and in my top 5 bosses oat. I think with midir it really depends on how you fight him. I think there are 2 rules: 1. ALWAYS go for the head 2. Roll Backwards, not into him. If u End up under him the camera will be a mess and the fight becomes way less enjoyable
I'd go Gundyr- underrated Vordt-properly rated Curse rotted greatwood-properly rated Crystal sage- properly rated Abyss Watchers- super overrated. They have some cool elements but I think my overall engagement with the fight is vastly outpaced by almost every boss past them. The first time I fought them was one of the most frustrating in the entire series(I think my weapon was under leveled) and every time after has been super easy. I think they are pretty good, but there are many bosses better than them. Deacons-properly rated Wolnir-properly rated Demon King-properly rated Pontiff-overrated Yhorm-properly rated Aldrich-underrated Dancer-a bit overrated Dragonslayer armor-massively underrated Oceiros-underrated Champ Gundyr-underrated Twin princes-underrated Wyvern- properly rated Nameless King-overrated Soul of Cinder-underrated (not because people don't like him, but I think he is with isshin as the best final boss in the series) Champion grave tender-overrated(not because people think they are good, but because I hate this boss) Friede-Underrated ( people usually put her high, but she is my favorite boss in any game I've ever played) Demon Princes-underrated Halflight-properly rated Midir- a very tiny bit overrated Gael-properly rated
I distinctly remember soul of cinder, and nameless king being the two most difficult bosses in this game my 1st playthrough. The sense of accomplishment i felt once i beat them though was amazing, and has only been matched to conquering Maliketh & melania in elden ring.
Dragon slayer armor was by far my favorite boss, it was balanced, he hit hard but he wasn’t too hard to hit back either, and his shield attacks looks so cool, the whole fight was a spectacle and left more of an impression than any other boss
Finally beat this game about two weeks ago. It’s was super fun. I really enjoyed the big dudes with giant weapon battles like dragon slayer, lord of cinder, pontiff, twin brothers, champion gundyr, etc. The ones who gave me trouble were the abyss watchers, dancer and pontiff.
This was my first Souls game, and i haven't struggled too much with the bosses (even Nameless king) but Soul of Cinder almost made me quit. His attack spam in the curved sword stance is insane, the straight sword stance has delayed moves that make no sense (unlike gundyr or DSA) and random follow ups, and don't even get me started on the healing in the spear stance that makes an already tanky boss go on forever. On the other hand, in the second phase you're always at a risk of dying instantly to his 5 hit combo. I love the moveset and the callback to Gwyn but i'm really not a big fan of it.
I like Gael most because for me its simply a 'get gud' boss. He has many attacks, you just need to learn then and dodge them all, no teleportation, no nothing. My favourite kind of boss.
It's wierd, I dont think I've died to nameless king a single time since my first 2 playthroughs, both phases combos and attacks are just really intuitive to me and they feel super natural. It's really interesting seeing what other people do well against
Gravetender's Greatwolf is unironically a top 3 boss for me. The music playing while he glides across that icy canyon filled with flowers defending his master's grave is just gorgeous to me.
Tip on Crystal Sage: throwing knives are cheap to buy from the Handmaid, are thrown quickly, and have decent enough range to take out the clones obscenely quickly. Church Guardian Shiv works just as well if you don't mind FP consumption
I think this is more like a "I like this boss or not" video, since absolutely no one talks about high Lord wolnir because he is incredibly forgettable and he gets and overrated, but Sister Elfriede who is easily one of the most popular bosses in Dark souls series gets an underrated???
Just started my first DS3 play through the other day. All stemmed from watching your videos and elden ring being my first souls like game. I’ve completed elden ring, Sekiro, bloodborne and now attempting DS3. Love it so far and am super excited to get through it! Love the channel man
@@DCshandle eh I don’t think so, I’m not playing each game In hopes that the one I’m playing is better than the last. I’m doing it because I really enjoyed elden ring and wanna go back and experience the other games
@@DCshandle DS1 holds up in other areas, so I wouldn't worry. There's always an intruigue in checking out how things started, even if that means a more jank experience.
My least favorite boss in the game is the crystal sage. I'm colorblind and can't tell the difference between the magic attacks mid fight. My options are to get way over leveled, or bring a tun of throwing knives and throw one at each sage. Nothing against from software for the fight, life just be like that sometimes
ds3 is *probably* my favorite souls game, overall. the other 3 (including demon's souls) are all excellent, but had issues. I never felt like ds3 had major flaws. it's not too long, boss runs aren't unreasonable, levels are consistently good throughout, and it wasn't boss spammed. I recently replayed it (after a few years off) with my son, and forgot just how much I enjoyed this game! it's even better when your 15yr old loves the genre, and is an excellent coop player!!
This is probably my favorite game of all time (Batman Arkham City and Shin Megami Tensei 4 are also in my top 3 and they switch constantly). I think with most of these bosses being properly rated when many of them are universally loved or hated just shows how well designed and polished this game is. I'm currently playing the game on SL1 and it's kicking my shit in but I'm determined to go through it. Deacons are a weird boss for me. On NG+ and above they've actually been giving me some trouble. I feel like bosses shouldn't punish you for your weapon choice but this kinda does (I tried beating them with a rapier and it sucks not being able to hit multiple enemies at once). Also since poise is so weak in this game it's very easy to get knocked around especially when you are swarmed and there's deacons throwing out fireballs and casting Wrath of the Gods. It's gorgeously atmospheric otherwise and even this boss is better than 75% of DS1 and almost all of DeS lol. I have never died once to Crystal Sage until I learned you could parry him and I tried to do it on my most recent playthrough lol. If you just bum rush bro, it's not bad at all. I also have friends that have trouble with the Crystal Sages and I just never understood it. I quite like the Old Demon King. As a lore head though, the impact is cheapened by the fact that you fight one more demon boss in the DLC (although Demon Princes are top 10 Souls bosses so I guess it was worth it). Are people seriously saying they don't like the Abyss Watchers? Most I've seen are people who like them. It's a phenomenal gank fight and an early game highlight. What's even more impressive is that the bosses get even better after that point. Aldrich is way too RNG focused for me. Every time I've fought this boss it depended on whether or not he does the stupid arrow rain attack that tracks you for 10 years. I know there is a way for you to make sure he doesn't do that but that doesn't make the attack less dumb
with the Crystal sage since all the clones are 1 shot I figured using throwing knife while taking cover to take them all out before approaching the real one works pretty well.
Not quite sure you understand the difference between under/over rated and "I do/don't like this boss" like how can you call yhorm over rated when no one rates him highly
One thing I'll say about deacons is that they are an absolute nightmare in challenge runs. The whole boss fight is a dps check and if your challenge is shield only, bows only, or throwables only, you'll have to be fast so you don't get killed by the curse attack
im usually not this type of souls player but I am quite shocked on how much you say you struggled with certain bosses. I killed Nameless 2nd try but Potiff and Gael took me forever. Gundyr also wasnt a challenge. iteresting takes honestly. love the video.
Having finished 3 two days ago, I think Dancer, Aldrich and Dragon Slayer Armor are my favorite bosses because they were difficult, but I still felt like I was playing within a fair game. Like you said for DSA, it feels like a duel. All three have big attacks, big combos, but they leave windows to attack or maneuver around that feel fair for all builds. Playing an ultra greatsword build, it was annoying for me how many bosses were incredibly fast, had tiny windows for countering or how many were ganks (heck, your footage of you fighting with the twin swords is downright beautiful and alien for my slow butt XD). But with these three bosses, I could dodge and counter, not just dodge for my life and miss all my attacks because they decided to teleport away and start their katas again after 0.005 seconds of reprieve (Twin Princes). On another note, I also found myself liking Midir. I think he's the best co-op boss in FromSoft because his already massive health pool gets enhanced once you summon, so it doesn't feel unfair for you to gank him. Also, the game turns into Monster Hunter as you and your friend have to become a well-oiled machine to dodge, pick your shots and run away as you slowly pick away at his health.
Bit telling that a lot of the community opinion of a boss often seems to boil down to "Is it hard?" with a side of "and does it look cool?". Also idk about blanket claiming ds3 has the best bosses in the series when sekiro exists, unless you mean of the dark souls games specifically. Even then, I personally prefer ds1's lineup, but that's a combination of taste and being a str weapons enthusiast, and a number of ds3's more interesting bosses felt like they were designed more around the speed of dex weapons. Or rather, more accurately, they were designed around the speed of bloodborne's combat. I'm pretty sure the ds3 team just forgot they weren't making bloodborne at times.
Hold up, I have never heard people talk poorly about Abyss Watchers. I mean, I’m not a huge fan, but I hear it regularly. Also, Dragonslayer Armour is way underrated. If he had a flashier arena, he would have been much more popular.
There is no way Pontiff is underrated - fairly confident I’ve never seen a negative sentiment towards him and he’s plenty of people’s favorite boss in the main game, so…
It's always been my hot take that Nameless King is overrated because players are too forgiving of how bad the King of the Storms phase is. It has to be in the top 3 worst camera implemntations in the entire franchise. Yes, after enough playthroughs you kind of learn how to get through it without too much trouble, but it never makes the phase anything approaching good. And it's something many people I've seen admit is bad or at least problematic about him, but just forgive it because they like the second phase so much. I am not sure if there is another boss talked about in the top tiers that has as agregious of an issue that everyone just kind of accepts. That said, I think other bosses have either caught up to him or surpassed him on popularity, so it makes it a little less overrated than he once was. And of course, this is just my personal opinion. Anyway, thanks for the video! Entertaining as always.
@@Ghorda9 As I said, I know what to do at this point from fighting him enough to at least minimize camera issues. It still doesn't make anything about that part of the fight good or enjoyable at least in my opinion. For me personally with how many quality bosses are in DS3 I can't put a boss with such a flawed phase in my top 5.
DS Armor and the Champ are 2 of my fav fights in ds3. Its just so fun to dodge around their combos plus their difficultly is almost perfectly fair (besides DS armor turtling and Champ's fuckin charge with 360 degree heat seeking tracking)
just beat midir for the first time. I'd been running pretty much the same build for all of DS3 so when I fought him I wanted to change it up and use the Nameless King's spear which was super fun and when I finally beat him he gave me a weapon which became the center of my next build to beat Gael. That felt like the best way for me to beat the game and prove it wasn't just the build I was using.
My favorite thing to do on every playthrough is Yoels quest to get the dark hand and punch the dancers ass early for 66k souls(with silver serpent ring) and then steam roll the early/mid game
Gael is my favorite boss out of all SoulsBorne games too. I just have too much fun fighting him. Incredible music, lore, arena and an outstanding moveset, it's the best way to end a game.
I don't understand how people consider Midir to be difficult. He is an interesring boss, but i wouldn't say that he is difficult. You can just stay under him to hit his neck or tail, look out for his fire attack and explosion, and just quickly run against him whenever he starts his pushing attacks. Whenver he starts to breathe fire under himself just run to his tail and hit him while his breathing. As easy as that. Maybe if he had some unpredictable body slam, so that you won't stay under him, he would be difficult. Usually people for some reason try to stay right in front of him and dodge all the attacks, and i guess that is the reason why people always die to him and think that he is difficult.
Actual good tip. The nameless king REALLY teaches you 2 things that are heavily punished if you lack in this fight. Patience, timing and healing windows. Greed makes it impossible. His timings have that wierd windup later souls games started adding and he HEAVILY punishes erratic healing.
The first time I played ds3, ancient wyvern threw itself off the map, so I didn't even get to do the plunge on it. Pretty disappointed, but I happily took the souls
I think Demon Prince is overrated. All i hear about the fight is praise and i really don't get it. The first phase has some really cool design ideas like the "passive" and the "active" prince, but that's it. When they're both active, it fucking sucks, you're forced to run around the arena for a minute, waiting for one of them to become passive, because otherwise you don't have safe openings because their attacks overlap. And the second phase is good, but the changes if you kill one prince first aren't that notable, unlike Ornstein & Smough, when the second phase is completely different depending on who you kill first. (Here, it's only one attack that's different). And they have so much health you might just as well tickle them to death. I don't know who thought giving the Demon Prince such a high physical resistance in a fight with a total of 21.000 hps was a good idea. They have so many hps that it becomes unenjoyable.. It's not like the other DLC fights where the large health pool is balanced pretty well. In Friede's case, you can stagger her easily and backstab her, in Midir's case you're rewareded if you fight him head on with a huge damage repost, in Gael's case you can stagger him after a certain amount of attacks, letting you be offensive even when he starts a combo. In the Demon Prince's case, it's just a boring slog, with the two demons that also have a big health bar and get repetitive real quick because they have like, 3 attacks each and with the Demon Prince who's a goddamn tank.
I've noticed there was a decent amount of hate for the abyss watchers but I loved it. It was pretty easy for me tbh but felt like a good battle in the second phase. I'm glad to see the love for them.

I absolutely adore the mood/atmosphere in DS3. It’s so intense
I’m happy someone acknowledged how people sleep on soul of cinder. He’s part of my top 5 so I get annoyed when people downplay the boss
Really good video, however I think that with the Yhorm fight, a large part of why he is so loved, is because of the Siegward storyline that's interwoven with Yhorm
Really cool transition at 6:00 i dont know if it was on purpose but the attacks of the two bosses line up perfectly
Abyss Watchers are NOT underrated. Literally, everyone loves them.
For the Crystal Sage just buy a few daggers to hit the clones and the fight is much easier!
the clones cast blue magic, the real one uses purple, just focus on the purple one until it disappears then repeat
@@rustman2990 or hide behind something until it's safe and then beeline the real one.
Or use vow of silence lmao trivializes fights against magic users
DS3 truly is the pinnacle of boss design in Soulsborne.
Exactly, there is only two bossfight below c tier and the amount of bossfights that are tier s can easily be like 8-10 bossfights, best bossfights of the series unless shadows of the erdtree have a lot of S tier bossfights
@@jajasking9652 personally i think elden ring has some bosses that are better.
@@Ghorda9 yeah, i should have said overall, becuase of godfrey and mogh being at the level of the best ds3 bossfights, but overall, i enjoy more the ds3 bossfights, elden ring has like a lot of A tier bossfights for me
@@jajasking9652 since really getting to know the boss mechanics i would put a few on the same level as gael.
The entire game of DS3 is slept on imo. Too many good bosses and soundtracks and yet people will say it's bad because there is too much of the color grey😭😭. Also maybe I'm just too good bit when I hear people complain I about Anor Londo being brought back I alaways wonder why because your only there for like 15-20 minutes anyway.
ive never heard or seen anyone sat oceiros was their favourite aside from me so far, i loved his voice and the transition to his second phase whilst he loses all sense of what he is or was, really stood out to me as an enjoyable boss and made it my favourite.
the lore helps too. Underrated boss imo
Nobody calls Oceiros their favorite boss
I like him there are better fights like Armour, but he is very underrated
Midir is definetly not overrated for me. Hes by far the best dragon in the series and in my top 5 bosses oat. I think with midir it really depends on how you fight him. I think there are 2 rules: 1. ALWAYS go for the head
2. Roll Backwards, not into him.
If u End up under him the camera will be a mess and the fight becomes way less enjoyable
I prefer Sinh as a dragin fight tbh. Midir is one of those that just isnt much fun to me.
Havent fought sinh yet bc I cant beat ds2 without smashing my Desk lmal
@@Nova03463 oooof XD.
@@Foxtail190 yh its by far my least favourite
@@Nova03463 DS2 was hella fun for me. Wasnt my favorite, but I found it more enjoyable than DS1. (DS3s bosses really make it skyrocket to the top)

Hey man, just wanna say you put out some really good quality content and I hope to see your channel grow a lot in time to come. Good luck
Thanks :)
Can't wait to know what outro you chose for this one!
I love the art style in this game combined with the ost it just stands alone in its own lane, unforgettable and imo the peak of Dark Souls
YES! my day automatically gets way better if you upload. keep up the great work:)
I love to hear that :)
I thought Aldritch was a lackluster boss till I fought him with an int build. That shit causes next level rage
I'd go
Gundyr- underrated
Vordt-properly rated
Curse rotted greatwood-properly rated
Crystal sage- properly rated
Abyss Watchers- super overrated.
Deacons-properly rated
Wolnir-properly rated
Demon King-properly rated
Pontiff-overrated
Yhorm-properly rated
Aldrich-underrated
Dancer-a bit overrated
Dragonslayer armor-massively underrated
Oceiros-underrated
Champ Gundyr-underrated
Twin princes-underrated
Wyvern- properly rated
Nameless King-overrated
Soul of Cinder-underrated (not because people don't like him, but I think he is with isshin as the best final boss in the series)
Champion grave tender-overrated(not because people think they are good, but because I hate this boss)
Friede-Underrated ( people usually put her high, but she is my favorite boss in any game I've ever played)
Demon Princes-underrated
Halflight-properly rated
Midir- a very tiny bit overrated
Gael-properly rated
Pontiff is my favourite boss in DS3 and one of the best in the series, only really beat out by Maria, Orphan, Ludwig, Gehrman and Placidusax for me
I distinctly remember soul of cinder, and nameless king being the two most difficult bosses in this game my 1st playthrough. The sense of accomplishment i felt once i beat them though was amazing, and has only been matched to conquering Maliketh & melania in elden ring.
i find that soul of cinder doesn't do enough damage to really punish you, i really only die to him if i run out of estus.
@@Ghorda9 That means he's kicking your ass
@@Kn1ghtborne that means i beat him second try because he could never finish me off.
@@Ghorda9 true, he is hell on sl1 runs though
Soul of Cinders was so incredibly easy for me, I rank him worst boss in the game. I had a lot more trouble with Nameless King.
3:15 bro just described rennala
I like Gael most because for me its simply a 'get gud' boss. He has many attacks, you just need to learn then and dodge them all, no teleportation, no nothing. My favourite kind of boss.
He can teleport...
I have something to tell you my guy......
@@innocentguest.4999 We'll in this guys defense I also didn't no Gael could teleport till my 3rd playthrough of the dlc
Love your content Ember, keep it up🙏
Thank you so much!!!!
It's wierd, I dont think I've died to nameless king a single time since my first 2 playthroughs, both phases combos and attacks are just really intuitive to me and they feel super natural. It's really interesting seeing what other people do well against
Abyss watchers are definitely not underrated, most people appreciate the fight. Also nice touch adding Ds2 music for Yhorm
Whenever Spears of the Church is brought up, all I can think about is the “make haste” voice
I was not expecting to see Kenny Garrett in a video about Dark Souls, but here we are.
Legend
I think this is more like a "I like this boss or not" video, since absolutely no one talks about high Lord wolnir because he is incredibly forgettable and he gets and overrated, but Sister Elfriede who is easily one of the most popular bosses in Dark souls series gets an underrated???
Just started my first DS3 play through the other day. All stemmed from watching your videos and elden ring being my first souls like game. I’ve completed elden ring, Sekiro, bloodborne and now attempting DS3. Love it so far and am super excited to get through it! Love the channel man
You messed up now you won’t be able to enjoy ds1 and 2
@@DCshandle eh I don’t think so, I’m not playing each game In hopes that the one I’m playing is better than the last. I’m doing it because I really enjoyed elden ring and wanna go back and experience the other games
@@DCshandle DS1 holds up in other areas, so I wouldn't worry. There's always an intruigue in checking out how things started, even if that means a more jank experience.
@@leithaziz2716 that’s why I’m glad things like RUclips exist so I don’t have to go through the horrors of playing ds2
@@DCshandle i enjoyed ds2
the abyss watchers fight is so fucking awesome they didnt even wait for you to get there to start.
I honestly dont know why demon princes are sleep upon. They were in my opinion best gank fight there was in any games.
My least favorite boss in the game is the crystal sage. I'm colorblind and can't tell the difference between the magic attacks mid fight. My options are to get way over leveled, or bring a tun of throwing knives and throw one at each sage. Nothing against from software for the fight, life just be like that sometimes
If you’re into modding, there’s prolly one online to add a colorblind filter!
I really loved this game, and I wish I could experience the game again from beginning to end for the first time.
ds3 is *probably* my favorite souls game, overall. the other 3 (including demon's souls) are all excellent, but had issues.
I agree with almost everything you said except the souls of cinder rivaling nameless king's difficulty. Great video!
I don't know what it is but Crystal Sage almost made me rage quit and still messes me up sometimes even now.
I faced the dancer when you’re normally supposed to, I tried 50+ times. After a while I came back to the game and got her second try
I watch your videos mostly in anticipation for your perfect outros
with the Crystal sage since all the clones are 1 shot I figured using throwing knife while taking cover to take them all out before approaching the real one works pretty well.
The constant monotony of work-life balance comes to a screeching halt when Ember posts a vid. Made my week
U are the best for watching, thank u so much!! Work life balance is rough hahahaha
Abyss watchers suck, no danger, so easy, gets staggered so much. Cutscene is better than the boss.
Not quite sure you understand the difference between under/over rated and "I do/don't like this boss" like how can you call yhorm over rated when no one rates him highly
Same rationale for saying Friede is under rated - Friede is in most people's top 10
Gundyr also wasnt a challenge. iteresting takes honestly. love the video.
it feels great to know that someone agrees with me on the crystal sage
I'm pretty sure the ds3 team just forgot they weren't making bloodborne at times.
i enjoy watching these videos, even though my takes seem to often be quite different
Hold up, I have never heard people talk poorly about Abyss Watchers. I mean, I’m not a huge fan, but I hear it regularly. Also, Dragonslayer Armour is way underrated. If he had a flashier arena, he would have been much more popular.
There is no way Pontiff is underrated - fairly confident I’ve never seen a negative sentiment towards him and he’s plenty of people’s favorite boss in the main game, so…
Haven't been through much of the DLCs yet but man Nameless King was a great fight after you get past the mediocre first phase.
Entertaining as always.
you're supposed to stand in from of him and go for the head/neck you'll have a lot less camera issues that way and do more damage.
Would love a similar video for Sekiro! Maybe mini-bosses and main bosses?
I have played bloodbourne and put over 350 hours in elden ring. This past week is my first time on DS3. I’m having a hell of a time
Fighting Midir in Ornsteins armor was chefs kiss
DS Armor and the Champ are 2 of my fav fights in ds3. Its just so fun to dodge around their combos plus their difficultly is almost perfectly fair (besides DS armor turtling and Champ's fuckin charge with 360 degree heat seeking tracking)
Vordt vs gael
Great Butt: vordt
Dog: vordt
Frost: vordt

just beat midir for the first time.
Fully agree on Demon Prince and the Dragonslayer Armour. Me and a friend can't stop fanboying over them
I never died to Soul of Cinder
Because I kept homeward boning tf out of there lol
Dancer was much easier than I expected on my first playthrough, but still one of my favorite bosses.
I agree with you on gael's fight. Fighting him is just visually spectacular and satisfying
Sister Friede gave me Sekiro ptsd with how fast she was attacked😂
also i had a funny glitch with the sage where he just didn't move so i could just wail on him and skip half the fight

Thank u!! I agree :)
The whole time I was playing this game I kept pushing forward waiting for that amazing one phase boss...
If only there was a video talking about all the great things about the demon prince
Disclaimer: this is a shameless self plug
Advice for Nameless king, count his attacks, if he does an odd number of attacks punish, if even dont
You can use the throwing knifes on the clones so they disappear without having to run towards them
I 100% agree with Twin princess, man I love that fight and their lore
Aldritch is my favorite design. Dancer is my favorite fight. Friede is a spectacle to be sure but such a headache.
