- Senjo is pretty fun to play, slightly larger guns at 210mm, 40mm deck instead of 30mm, 20km torps instead of 12, with better firing angles as well. Feels like a proper T11 ship, it's a shame it's nothing compared to abominations like Conde and Annapolis though.

I think the ship is pretty fun, the problem is WG and Lesta were high on combined crack when they added the earlier versions of superships, and they clearly have no intention to nerf them properly.

Isn’t Senjo what Zao used to be called when it was the only fantasy clown world ship in the game and the game was actually good and had potential?

Ahh closed beta… I remember dying to get into that and finally winning my beta key on a stream giveaway and being more excited than you could believe to finally get in, and it was everything I’d hoped it would be. Fast forward to now, I’ve had the game uninstalled for years, my special Arkansas Beta rusting away in port

Matchmaking was hell. Have fun vs T10 with your New York.
High tier was pure ebola with pre nerf 20km Shima torps everywhere.
Stealth fire was an insanely toxic mechanic. And so was RTS CVs being able to oneshot you (Dont get me wrong. RTS CVs werent as toxic as what we have now. But this was too much).
Most T9 ships were giga trash. WG aiming for people to buy Free XP.
The grind was insane. The good eco signals and camos werent a thing yet. Also no freemium ships (aside from a T4) and huge repair cost in high tier meant a big struggle for Credits.
It had potential, i agree. Then it peaked from mid 2016 to early 2019. That was the prime of this game.
Senjo was the og zao name. One of flamus earliest videos is him playing the senjo
WG had to come up with a dozen t11 before actually pulling a ship that is "balanced" for its tier

So what's so super about the ship? Slightly better reload, maybe better range, better torp angles and... larger citadel that's actually vulnerable, unlike some other Burts firing supercruisers?
That's the problem WG created. They called them superships instead of tier 11 and made the initial ones overpowered.

It's IJN. WG have ALWAYS hated IJN. This is nothing new.
Minus Flamu here in the Senjo and the Kornilov on the enemy team, this looks like a normal WoWs game on the WG side of things.

What funny about this ship is that it use german ammunition. Just look at the name of the ammunition at the port

@@jaysonnunley6602 I know that it use 210mm guns. The thing is it use the same ammunition down to the letter as if the ammunition ( of which doesn't exist in real life ) were shared among them.
On slightly relate note, St. Vincent and Ruggiero di lauria also use the same ammunition ( namely 457mm AP Mk.II, Both ships having the same performance )

So what does Senjo offer over Zao beyond actually having hp? Marginally better dpm?

@@anthonyware4033 Senjo itself isn't a bad ship. In fact it seems like a fairly balanced T11. It's just that Annapolis and Condé are so ridiculously broken that they would qualify for T12. Yet both are merged into a single super tier.

Well this one and Jacksonville don't have any relation cause one is on Lesta and the other is on WG

I mean. Not having a burst against other super ships is rough. But that’s the life of tier 10 and tier 9. Fundamentally obsolete tiers against Superships. Between them and subs, it’s thrown off game balance of this game sadly.

I wouldn't be too eager to do that, Lesta submarine balance is a complete shitshow. There's no submarine surveillance added to cruisers, shotgunning still exists and they thought super-subs was a good idea. So yeah, just as retarded as WG but on a different spectrum.
@@Flamuu Good points. The implementation of mini map spotting gives me a small glimmer of hope. But mostly I just want to play Vodka Yamato. Might as well go full retard. Also NA server has become a wasteland lately, as you pointed out recently. MM is brutal. It's the same 200 animals and 20 clubbers in every match.
Lesta has Soviet Battlecruisers too, so I wouldn't be jumping at the bit to be on their server

A disappointment
2:50 I know teamkilling is no longer a thing, but seeing Flamu of all people lob torps with allies being between him and his target makes me cringe. It is just something you'd expect from a potato ngl. And yeah, Brisbane is a player, but so are you for pushing a flank all by yourself with zero spotting. Guess you are lucky the Annapolis and Daring didn't go for a push on the flank, otherwise you would have looked dumber than the Brisbane.
