I took like 5 different classes on maya in college and none of them brought this up and this is the exact thing ive always been looking for! Thank you!
Absolutely useful tutorial. Wish more people would make Maya look so easy to use like you did. Really looking forward to more tutorials from you Amy. Thanks
More efficient than my way😂 I was duplicating my model then reversing its polygons and separating them so they were look like black outline around the model
Thanks a lot for the tutorial from a fellow CGI student ! I was wondering if there was an option in maya to create cartoonish 3D renders and you just explained perfectly the basics. I'd definetly watch more of your tutos. Doing it as a school assignment is also a nice exercise, credits to the teacher too.
EXCELLENT TUTORIAL!!!!!! You could teach the guys a thing or two about creating a concise straight-to-the-point tutorial, with out babbling on about stupid crap that doesn't have anything to do with the lesson!
Hi! I have two questions: 1- The color of the light influence the Shader result or it always gonna be "blue for shadow and white for light"? 2- Can i apply painted textures on this? Thanks very much!!
饶以谙 Hi there. Unfortunately I don't have too much experience with particle effects but one thought I had was you could make rain particles & increase their size to make big round blobby bubbles. That might help it look more cartoony. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.

Is there a way to export a model with toon shading?
wow! exactly what i needed! just wondering... can i make it work with arnold renderer?
i was wondering the very same thing
For those who chose Arnold as a rendered, toon shader it's not supported in viewport so you'll have to render it to see the result.
i see it in viewport and not when I render. Any help?
@@jakoah7142 Me too, did you find a solution?

Hello, I was trying to make water with cartoon material, but has been unable to find a way, do you know how to get it?Thank you

If you then put this into unreal engine would the model still have the toon shader, or do you have to apply the toon shader from engine?
Thank you!!!

Can I use toon shader for a water simulation in maya.. ??
