    That thing you didnt know at 7:35 is for the steering stabilizer if you 're planning to install one.

    At 7:50 into the video... it’s the steering damper. It makes bump steering smoother in 4x4 models. I’m not sure about 2 wheel drive. We are hunting for an available product now. Rough Country does make one. Great videos as always brothers. 🙏🏼🇨🇦⚓️

    Great Vid!
    I don't have the time to do this procedure but I'm watching this vid to find out what parts I need to order from Rock Auto when I take it to my mechanic.
    Because nothing sucks more than finding out you forgot to order something when you have everything torn apart.👍

      Rockauto is definitely the place to buy these parts, they are cheap there 👍🏼

      If you haven’t yet, refreshing these things on the Mazda would be great. I’m going to be doing that soon to my B2000 as well. I have a lot of worn components as well

    Hell ya! About do the same thing but my truck too. Balljoints are toast Mine is bagged lays frame. Trying to find something to fix my negative camber issues at ride height either shit load of shims long bolts or sum 4x4 pathfinder UCA's idk...

    • @FlakeGarage
      @FlakeGarage  3 года назад

      Yeah you might want to run some pathfinder arms and get a custom kit that lets you adjust the length of the arm at the top. That’ll be the only way to fix the negative camber on it. Good luck brother

    Hey I’m looking at doing the Belltech drop with my factory 14 chrome wheels. Can you talk about clearance or show issues with clearance in a future video. I hear about possible issues with the radius arms and the factory wheels.

    • @FlakeGarage
      @FlakeGarage  3 года назад +1

      You cannot use the factory wheels with the drop spindles from belltech. You need to upgrade to 16s or could do 15” with the right offset like 0 or - something but I would recommend 16 or higher

    So doing my lower joints pulled the boot pretty shur all of it cut off but I'm not seeing no dang snap ring??

    • @FlakeGarage
      @FlakeGarage  3 года назад

      It should be in there and if not, I guess there’s a chance you might of been running around without one 😬

      Damm my boot ripped off the boot ring I was look at the top the boot ring lol just had to pull it off.
      So Got everything out and its Allready to put the new one also im putting pathfinder 4WD UCA's in fliped and swapped but because they are an 1" longer it will help with my really bad negative camber
      thanks for the good videos!

    • @FlakeGarage

      Did you get the master adapter kit? Check out that part on the video for the numbers we used. You might have to use another one just to get it to tighten a bit to then push the rest of it

  • @brandonb6903
    @brandonb6903 3 года назад

    Hey guys it's Brandon I've got a 97 hard body and I'm dropping it putting rims on it right now do you know if they make 3-in drop spindles or only just 2-in drop spindles to belt tech because I'm doing 4-in in the rear and I want to do the drop spindle so I don't have bad camber but I don't want to be sitting higher in the front than the rear you understand let me know if they make any 3 or 4-inch drop spins thanks

    • @FlakeGarage
      @FlakeGarage  3 года назад

      Hey Brandon, as far as we know there is no such thing as a 3 or 4 inch drop spindle for the hardbody. To get that low you have to do the 2 inch spindle plus torsion bars

  • @sharktooth1985
    @sharktooth1985 3 года назад

    So did you use the stock spring clips for the balljoints or the ones with the new ones because my new cheap duralast balljoints have thinner spring clipping and the stock ones to me look better had to do some other things abouts to wrap it all up getting read to relocation of my shocks up front fully bagged!!!

    • @FlakeGarage
      @FlakeGarage  3 года назад

      We ordered our parts through rockauto.com so we used all the new hardware it came with. If you feel the old clip is better, stronger and in good shape than the new one then I’d just reuse that one

    Nice video guys! Is it necessary to completely remove the spindle in order to change the lower ball joint??

    • @FlakeGarage
      @FlakeGarage  3 года назад

      I think that is the easiest way to go about it. If you are only taking off the lower ball joint, you might be able to get away with just loosing the spindle and leaving it connected to the upper ball joint
