I had a 26C Christmas here in Southern California. Doesn’t really feel like winter or Christmas here ever :/

Im in Alabama while we did not get snow we got extreme cold. We saw 8 degrees at the lowest point. I walked on ice for the first time ever yesterday. Pretty crazy!

Chester is such a good boy, love seeing him in the videos. I notice quite a difference in the cooking techniques when it is just Adam, wielding the big knives not just to prep but to eat with 😅. Got into the 40s F here in south Florida, cold for us but nothing like what others are experiencing. Be safe out there and wishing you all success in 2023!

We had ice and a dusting of snow on top. Hard to drive when I went to work. I slid sideways down the hill and barely missed four parked cars. Wind gusts up to 50 miles an hr. and temps at -5. My house just would not stay warm. Had to turn oven on to give my furnace a break. I also would go out every 4 hrs to start my vehicle so it would start in the morning. I am not a fan of freezing temps. But, thankfully this weekend we will see 50 degree temps here in Western PA.

The venison looked fantastic. Wish smellivision existed. The back straps, or sirloins are terrific, but they are still 2nd to the tenderloins which are on the stomach side of the spine. They are smaller however. But think about it, like on a steer T bone steak, the sirloin part is the tougher larger (back strap) side and the smaller tender part is under the spine. 👍

Hey Adam and Joelle! I discovered your channel I think two days ago and already watched all your videos. Whats funny about this storm I live in Vermont and we had 50 degree F temps and then it went down to the single digits kinda normal for us but the rest of the country got smoked. ANYWAYS just wanna say I love the content that you all add, seeing a couple duo is pretty fresh and makes it really enjoyable. I am starting my own hot tent channel (not this channel) and just wanted to give a big thank you because you are one of the few channels that pump me up for this and this lifestyle. That tent looks so comfy and inviting. I know more than a few people who would panic in the middle of a storm like this! Chester was his usual cool self, and loved the video man! Great work...missed Joelle though!
It scared me in the first video of the minus thirty something temp when Chester started growling and looking to the outside of the tent after they got in to bed.. I would have been terrified!

I got the same tent and may be living in it again soon. In the summer, I had a problem with various locations where mice would constantly make noise under it at night. Is this also an issue in the winter?

In Seattle here!!! Would have rather just had the snow!!! But had a couple inches of snow and then got hit with freezing rain really bad!! 1 solid inch of ice!!!! Couldn’t even get out of the house because even a very small grade you couldn’t even walk on!!! Bring back the snow
