If this is really out in the wild and not in an organized camping ground with facilities, there are some things they didn’t discuss which could make it difficult for your wife, like where to brush your teeth, going to the toilet and the environmental protection rules to be followed.
Hey Adam! A tip from cold Norway to stay warm at night. Fill you’re nalgene bottle with warm water right befere bed and put it a wool sock or something like that to avoid possible burns. Put the bottle at your feet and you will not only stay warm, but you will also have water non frozen, ready to drink in the morning :) keep the good work going!
Next time in that sort of temp consider putting a -7 (20 F) bag inside of another bag (something rated for above 0). You’ll notice an amazing improvement. Speaking from experience here. That -7 bag is really only comfortable down to like +4! You’ll survive down to -7 but won’t be comfortable!!
You guys are troopers for sure.. Quick story, My wife called me at work saying to me ( The heater is not working, please do something) i responded, where are you know? She answer, At the MALL. I simply hung up and got back to work. FYI nothing wrong with the heater , she turd off heater from the phone APP. LOL
Ya wish my wife was as willing to do the outdoor stuff you and your gf do. My son is fine doing everything outside but my wife once we had our son quit doing the outdoor stuff. Your gf is definitely a keeper. Keep up the videos. Can't wait for some summer content

I cold camped once, never again, I’m just too soft. I love the winter but I want to warm up and dry off at the end of the day. You have yourself a special woman there Adam, compliments you very well 😊

I just thought of a new heating idea. Boil water and put it in containers inside the tent. Plus pocketwarmers. As a motorcyclist i put cokebottles in the inner pocket of my coat. Just warmwater from the tap, from a gasstation. But ten 2l bottles of water at a temp of 60-80°C? Under the beds? Proly only lasts for 2h if 60°
Hahaha I do this all year round! As long as it’s above -10 it’s usually pretty easy to stay warm and thankfully it almost never drops below that on the wet coast!

Not sure how much it would help, but you could fill up that pan with coals from the fire and bring it in the tent. With that emergency blanket reflecting the heat it would probably raise the temp a few degrees.

I've been caught (unexpectedly) camping in -10 and had a 5 gallon water jug freeze almost solid inside. Looks like you guys did a better job keeping insulated. And, as someone else mentioned, I prefer the boiled water in a Nalgene trick. Have to take it out of the sleeping bag some nights cause it can keep me too warm.

I put a couple of cheap fleece blankets under the rain fly and it seems to help a lot in 10-20 degree weather.
