Really good and helpful advice. Sometimes the money and the benefits keep us at a job longer than we should stay. I want to quit without any other job lined up but being almost 40, it's a very different game for me at this age.

Thanks for watching, I'm glad you found it useful.
I think it all depends on the level of support you've got around you, especially if you can't rely on your savings.
I don't know what your situation is like, so I can't give specific advice tailored to you. But I hope you figure out a way to prioritise your well-being without suffering financially :)

@ThinkingOutLoudWithAnjy i wont suffer financially or can risk it because i have no kids, no partner, no debt. I think its more about loosing a well paying job and remote benefits that might not be easy to come by again. Especially when you grow up poor, your scarcity mindset plays into everything.

Ahh I see. My advice would be a leave of absence then. Does your job let you take time off for an extended period of time? Perhaps you're burnout, and what you need is a long break. If you can take a 6-month break, for example, and still have a job to come back to, I believe that'd be ideal :)

@ThinkingOutLoudWithAnjy thank you for replying back! Unfortunately no, they do not allow long term leave. I dont think I would want to come back anyways. The issue is they just spent 50k relocating me about 8 months ago and now I already want to quit so I feel guilty about that and "wasting" the money but I found this situation is truly not for me. Luckily i dont think i have to pay any of it back.

So is it the job you're dissatisfied with or the company?
It's okay to feel bad, but ultimately, you have to make the decision that's best for you. They'll be alright 🤣
