Yes, I open the cage usually at night when I'm in my room. Then birdies start coming out and flying like crazy. They make some circles around and later when they get hungry they go inside
When you change the seeds, do you empty out the whole thing and then put new seeds in, or do you get rid of 50% and put new??? I lm just curious
I throw it, wash the bowl and pour new seeds

don't give grit to budgies they don't need it as they don't eat the seed shell and grit is needed to digest that shell
