Nico williams is not coming to Liverpool, he is on massive wages right now and would have to pretty much half them to fit LFC’s wage scale

Yeah for 100 million i would want the real deal, Nico Williams would be a better signing if we could work out the wages situation. Slot and Trent have not had time together yet. Just having Slot appointed does not give Trent any idea of what life under Slot will be like. I am sure negotiations are still underway and Trent may be the one holding things up with unrealistic demands for which compromises need to be reached. We have more than capable people dealing with this, so, whatever the outcome, I have little doubt that everything possible is being done to reach an agreeable solution. Trent may only be open for negotiations when he returns and had a one on one talk with Arne. I am chilled about this.

I think the reason which i think will keep trent at lfc is he will not play in midfield for real, there is too much natural center mids in real madrid so he will be playing rb there. Where as lfc will play him in midfield more so as we are weaker in that area. However if trent goes i would want touchemi coming the other way and maybe a good price included for rodrigo. Lfc wont allow us to have our pants down and spanked, they will put a play in place to make sure we do not loose out from it

Here's my cynical take Craig. FSG is all about the numbers. They don't invest with their losers in Boston or Pittsburgh. The valuation of LFC keeps increasing, they fill the seats, make TV money, sponsor money, so I don't think they really care if a club is competitive as long as they bring in revenue. TAA goes to Real, Mo and Virgil leave for free. Hope I'm wrong.
