Please stop comparing him, he's not Klopp! As painful as it is we have to get over it and accept Klopp's gone and let Slot be his own man. When Klopp came in everyone was trying to compare him to Shankly, he ended up forging his own reputation on his own merit through his own personality. Slot deserves the chance to be his own man, don't compare him to Klopp, or Shankly, or Paisley...

That's very kind of you bud. Haven't got a shabby manager yourself and think he will be there for many years to come. Jurgen was such a big presence not just for the club but the city itself. Certainly spilled a few tears when he went. Just wasn't your normal manager. I have no clue how we will be going forward but just hope we don't end up like man u when Sir Alex left.

Not in league winning contention yet but once he gets the right players recruited in you will be right up there in no time.

Gakpo will be a monster under this guy, not even because of the Dutch connection but Slot’s style of play will benefit him hugely. Before we got Ange it was looking ever so likely Slot would be our manager so I of course did loads of research and lads, he’s an attacking maniac. Expect many many goals. Gakpo is bang average I'm sorry but you have to be real about these things. Klopp got great performances out of him at times but his game is incredibly limited for elite football.

Normally i never watch the training videos but under the circumstances I wasn't going to miss this it was quite strange to see slott in charge but to be fair to the man I think he held himself well and I can't wait to see his tactics kick in now that he has bigger players ! up the red's

Too many of our own fans seem to be counting Curtis out. Seen so many fan channels slate him recently, saying we should sell him and he'll never be good enough or he's too inconsistent, etc. You all have short-term memory, honestly. Wasn't too long ago he was being hailed for his amazing pressing, ball retention and motm performances while keeping Szobo, Elliott and Gravenberch out the team. He was first midfielder on the teamsheet before the injury. Reliable and 8-10 every game.
He has a long term injury, comes back and doesn't quite get into a rythm, then all the recency bias based fans start saying he's only in the team because he's scouse! Utterly clueless.
Our fans are so bad for downing our own players and bigging up other clubs players.
Watched a fan channel the other day saying that they'd sell Jones, he'll never be good enough and he's a waste of a position in the squad. That we'd he better off with a player like that Wieffer who's much better than Jones apparently.
On what evidence?? Jones has played at a higher level than most midfielders his age around Europe. People seem to forget that he's been a pivotal member of a squad that's won everything and we'd just trade him away for a player who's nowhere near Curtis level?
Our fans heavily underrate our own players. We have some of the best up and coming talents in europe, and we look at other clubs talents with envy. My question is, why? Why do we think that every other player is better than ours? Is it because we're obsessed with transfers maybe?
It's like the Gakpo situation. We're so obsessed with wanting Gordon and Williams etc, that we completely ignore the fact that we have the nest performing LW at the euros!
We're looking around obsessing with young CB'S, talking about who can come in to partner Virgil, when we have one of the best young CB'S in world football in Quansah. You'd all be more than happy to get in Calafiori and bench Quansah. Not a chance!
Quansah was the first choice CB for the team that was in a title race in the Premier league. Calafiori was at a lower level last season.
I'll be supporting our own players first. Never mind fantasising over every other player around the world. Support our boys!

And if liverpool needs to loan upcoming academy prospects theres only one man i trust with their future and i feel we owe him soo much i personally loved him to succeed klopp but i have no problem and doubts for slot i personally gave him 3.5yrs to get his feet running if he doesnt then i pray we wont let pep ljinders down again but for now i guess lfc could partner with salzburg i think a youngstar on loan(or sold with buy back clause) to salzburg with pep ljinders is safer than the one on loan to a prem bottom table club,We could avoid situations like the woordburn,wilson,kent(rangers),brewster,e.t.c who didnt reach their potentials peak due to us putting their future in the wrong hands
