I'm honestly cautiously optimistic. Arne seems like he gets what Liverpool is about too as a city. He spoke in that lengthier interview about the working class background of the city and this was honestly wonderful to notice. He seems to understand that it's not just any football club.

It feels like a dream seeing the coach I loved as a Feyenoord fan walking around at the grounds of Liverpool a club I’m also a big fan of. Never wanted him to leave but going to Liverpool is the second best thing, and he deserves it!

As for his footbal career he has been very loyal to PEC Zwolle and was a very loved person. both by PEC Zwolle as a player and also by Feyenoord as a trainer, maybe there was a reason he didn't want to go through with AZ, but that is just speculating

The right guy for the job imo. His playstyle is attacking and with a lot of defensive pressure, so he makes sure his players are getting a lot of stamina training
