    I never thought after Klopp left I’d find myself as gripped to a Liverpool manager speaking in the media again.
    Slot is such an interesting person to listen to, I take my hat off to the club for bringing in what feels like the perfect match for the existing squad and the fans.

      @@realife1542I understand the way you think. He's new and has'nt faced clubs like Man City, Chelsey and Arsenal yet. But I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. Let's wait until match number 19. I think you'll see that Liverpool is still in the top 3. And it's OK to lose against say Man City. The trick is to have more points at the end of the day. City, Chelsey and Arsenal will lose matches too.

Its a small thing, but it is a great insight in the mentality and culture he's building into the club.

    Building with a fresh perspective was exactly what we needed. Glimmers of the football have been reminding me a little of prime United, who were scary good, the speed of thought and one or two touch, bypassing half the opposition until they fall deeper and deeper, grind them into submission. Can't wait to see the solution for playing teams resistant to this though, because I have no clue

  • @barbedwiredeathtrap

    His personality is pure class. Everyone’s talking about the most recent Ten Hag interview and saying how great it is when he wasn’t even able to answer a question without saying his famous “stick to the plan” line. Scott makes him look like a complete moron in comparison with his cool demeanour and tactical knowledge. I might even prefer Slot to Klopp at this stage!

    what an amazing manager we've got here. Shows humility and respect to Klopp and the players left behind for him. Started the season brilliantly and wouldn't surprise anyone if he ends up winning in his debut season. The key difference Slot has is his rotation and lower intensity - which will translate to less fatigue and injury which Klopp struggles with.

    • @dionvanalem6996
      @dionvanalem6996 2 месяца назад +1

      Ten Hag even has problems expressing himself in Dutch. It has more to do with his rigid country boy character than him not being fluent in English, which he isn't of course. As a fellow Dutchman, I do feel sorry for him. He did really well as a manager over here, but he seems unfit for England. Perhaps Germany would suit him better. Can't imagine the man learning Spanish, French or Italian for a job there.

Our country retained the top spot for the best non-native English speakers in the world for the fifth consecutive year. We also start learning English in primary school at a young age of 5 or 6 years already
