It really amazes me that we're not looking for a left back, mate. Andy is now in the 30s and has, obviously, missed a lot of matches due to injuries. The ultimate name, for me, is Ferdi Kadıoğlu. Anyone who watched the Turkish National Team in the Euro 2024 tournament should've seen this standout player. In my opinion, this young Dutch-born player would have an immediate positive impact at LFC. I love Andy, but it's time to sign a replacement.

Signing a young LB is a good idea, but it is not a priority this summer. They have Robertson, Tsimikas, Gomez to play there. But next summer, yeah, it probably should be a priority.

I like Guehi, but I think he is being overrated a bit here. He also isn't that rapid or physically tall (he's under 6', when is the last time we went for a CB under 6' foot?)... and 65M for someone that doesn't have the usual qualities we look for seems like an unlikely transfer.
I’m in agreement. I’d prefer the other options. We’ll be paying the first season and English tax on Guehi.
Yoro would be my preference, (Madrid bound), then LCBs Pancho, Hancko, Schlotterbeck or Hincapie in that order. Most would these can cover LB so they would be a no brainer.

Agree mostly with those 3 positions but would say left back competition more important than a DM, and we have have Endo and Bajetic. Hope left footed attacker long term Salah replacement. Maybe Bakayoko as Kudus very unlikely. Guehi,Inacho or Pacho. Thanks for the great content Craig

While lack of information on transfers can frustrate eager fans, it is good business to not leak. Absolutely nothing is gained for the club. Rumors do not make it more likely a player signs on. Rumors make a bidding war more likely.

I am hearing that Liverpool may have an advantage over Arsenal in the pursuit of Swedish international forward Viktor Gyokeres at Sporting Lisbon with the Reds being prepared to match the £70 million asking price that the Gunners have refused to pay.
And while on the subject of Scandinavian players, Danish international defensive midfielder Morten Frendrup who Liverpool are reported to have bid about £22 million for from Genoa and who I understand is a lifelong Liverpool supporter could also be on his way. Possibly to replace Endo.
Liverpool in the past have a pretty good record when it comes to signing players from the Scandinavian nations.

My best guess on FSG getting 3 would be Tordibo/Lacroix as CB. Both quick and CHEAP. DM would love Ugarte but again my guess is Joao Gomes from Wolves..CHEAPISH and Wolves do favourable payment terms. Attacker probably Bakayoko using Sepp as a part ex to keap the deal CHEAP. Although i would be very surprised if we brought in 3 players. I'd say we get a DM and maybe something more.

idk i think Guehi is our main CB target with Inacio and Simakan being highly rated too. Other positions are still blank tho.

I can see some fans saying we should sign players. I’m not against that but the right player must be signed. Just because other teams are signing players doesn’t mean they would do better than us. Also, if any of our players wants to leave, let him go. We’ve had Suarez, Coutinho, Gerard and we won every cup after them. I’m very sure that we will do better but it will take time.
