    One unique scenario for getting a 980ti over a modern graphics card is for playing games over a CRT monitor as it was the last card to support an analog signal through using a DVI to VGA adapter.

    • @DimondDoesTech
      @DimondDoesTech  2 года назад +1

      Huh I had no idea about that! Not to mention though you could use a DVI-I cable if you wanted for analog signaling if I remember correctly? But I can't think of any CRT monitors that had DVI

    If you're getting into PC gaming or you have been doing it and wanting a better computer i recommend buying this card 100%, as it is up there with the RTX 3050 which is a decent card aswell, and its alot cheaper than alot of modern cards and you can find a pre-built pc with one too.

      Prebuilts with the 980 ti are not common anymore whatsoever. I certainly recommend the 3050 more though due to A. DLSS support, B. Freesync compatibility, and C. Far lower power consumption

    • @DimondDoesTech
      @DimondDoesTech  Год назад

      Hey though that 13900K means that you'll see framerates that you've not been able to get to before in games that are very demanding on the CPU like in indie games specifically. A great example of this is with my Ryzen 9 3900XT. Paired with a 2080 Ti and playing Avorion I was getting ~70-90fps. Now with my Ryzen 7 5800X3D I get 100-120fps in the same environment. Its seriously game changing. Another example; Crossout was running at ~220 fps before with the 3900XT and now it hits the engine cap of 300 fps at 1080 with a 5800X3D.

From the point of power and price best option would be a 3080 TI but just going to go for POWER and I think sticking with MSI 4090 would be best otpion.
