I love Larry and all, but, he couldn’t block with Sauron with decayed.
Yea...and this was not the case where a misplay doesn't effect the game...That's why you should always have a counter/token for anything that changes the stats and abilities of a card.

Bro, Larry is king of decks. Hes commander isnt that crazy, but he puts up any deck with such unique synergies and always outsmart/outplay opponents with such finess.

Larry should have died on the swing from the Aragorn player though. His untapped non-commander Sauron had decayed from the Ghoul's Night Out which means it shouldn't have been able to block the 4/4. He was swung at for 14 damage and had 14 life so he should have died on that attack.
I believe there was a misplay. At 27:59, Manny attacks Larry and One of the creatures is blocked by Sauron, the Dark Lord. Sauron had decayed (Can't block). Larry should have been dead.
On 28:08 Sauron couldn't block, because he has decay. It sadly changed the outcome of the game.

It’s that true LGS or Kitchen table magic, mistakes get made for sure. But we have fun. We still had lots of fun playing this game even with that misplay. During the live that it got pointed out too. Lots of you folks have great eyes.

So Larry actually lost at 28:09 because his Sauron can't block. It has Decayed when he reanimated it on his turn.

I loveeeee tempt with discovery! Not really a pet card of mine but it feels close. Just love it anytime I get to cast it no matter the results.
SPOILERS:
Bit of a game-altering error here. Larry should have died at Manny's combat 28:00 in. Sauron had Decayed from his previous Ghouls Night Out so he couldn't have blocked there. Manny had just enough damage to punch him for lethal.
Still, it was a fun game to watch through! I like seeing a bunch of early politics in games. This was a very fun episode!
oh no Larry! Sauron the Dark Lord had Decayed 23:28 and couldn't block there when you saved yourself! 28:05
Ghouls' Night Out (23:23) revives creatures and gives the "Decay", meaning they can't block and must be sacrificed if it attacked. Sauron, the Dark Lord has Decay, so he can't block. So Larry should have died to the Riders or Rohan (28:10)
Love the video, but I caught a game altering error:
Larry should not have been able to block with his Sauron, the Dark Lord at 28:05 because he returned it to the battlefield with Ghouls’ Night Out at 23:28 which gives these creatures Decayed (can’t block, when attacks sacrifice at end of combat). This block prevented 4 damage which would’ve been lethal.

Ghouls' Night Out gives the creatures decayed. Larry's Sauron the Dark Lord he gets off it isn't able to block. At 28:08 Larry blocks with it preventing 4 damage from Manny's Riders of Rohan. Because of this block Larry survives at 4, without it he (presumably) dies.
"Silly decision" Vahan was saaaalty! 😂
And so again we learn a valuable ihyd lesson: never make a deal with Larry 😅

They forgot that the Sauron he blocked Manny's attack with had decayed and could not block.
So Manny DID defeat Larry. Which makes a bit funny with the discussion after that turn and the after-the-game talk.
So I am pretty sure that Larry actually should have been dead at 28:00. Manny full attacked him and he blocked with sauron, the dark lord but it has decay from the reanimation spell so he would not be able to block it. Even if it knocked him to 1 life he wouldn't have been able to use his ancient tomb to cast sepchural primordial. Overall great game though thanks for the post!

I think at 28:20 Swing should have been lethal to Larry, cause the Sauron cannot block due to decayed and that would be the missing 4 damage

at 28:04 Larry would be dead from the attack because his Sauron has decaeyd from Ghouls Night Out and cant block. still nice game.

28:20 Larry cheated blocking with Dark Lord Sauron; he had Decayed from its Ghouls Night Out summon, thus it could not block and that was game for him. (Whether it was intentional or not is anyone's guess, easy to miss seeing as none of the other 3 players remembered.)
Larry shouldn't have been able to block with Sauron, The Dark Lord when Manny attacked him since it technically had Decayed from Ghouls' Night out. Still crazy though that he was able to pull out the win. Awesome decks.

Scary Larry? more like Scamy Larry. He cant block with that Sauron with decay, and need to discard at least a card to draw cards when the ring tempts you. Either way, really fun game, and amazings decks. So keep it up Aragorn, you defeat the dark lord, and congrats to Lynch the real winner.
So one thing they forgot was Larry's second Sauron the dark lord had decayed and couldn't block at 28:18, therefore he would have died then, this might have affected a few things. Still a great game, and magic is hard.
And he didn't have any of his creatures for to blasphemous act that he cast. He is just a major cheater today I guess😂

44:16 Nah, that's smoke. Like, standard is inflating the price, but she's gonna be atleast $30 forever. Targeting the Sheoldred was the correct play, the misplay was all in the boros charm target. But hey I probably would've missed it too, it's hard enough to calculate damage when combat phase comes, it's even harder to factor in spells while it's still on an opponents turn. So ironic that Larry was at exactly 4 though XD

The block with Sauron at around 28:00 I think it's illegal. That Sauron had Decayed and couldn't block. Larry should be dead by that attack.

The Rule of the Wallet never put a name to it, but I tend to swing on and interact with the person with the most expensive cards😅
You missed Larrys Sauron having decayed. He was not able to block the lethal attack.
Larry's Ghouls Night Out makes all the creatures brought back have decayed. Decayed creatures can't block. Larry would have taken 3 more damage from the attack and been unable to use ancient tomb for mana in future turns...which really changes the entire game. Shame it wasn't noticed.
like to ask lynch how would handle someone casting 2 ankh of mishra turn one. turn 2 orb of dreams then turn 3 storm cauldron then turn 4 umbilicus on the table.

I have a question about Boros Charm. If Vahan stole the Orc Army after Boros Charm resolved giving the army indestructible, would it have kept the indestructible until end of turn to survive the Blasphemous Act? Having that blocker wouldn't have saved him, but Larry would have had to send the final creature at Vahan instead of Lynch to get the kill.

Larry should’ve technically have died when Manny attacked him for lethal & brought him down to 4; because he blocked with Sauron, which he couldn’t do, since he casted “Ghouls Night Out” to bring Sauron back from graveyard to battlefield which made Sauron a decayed Zombie. Decayed creatures can’t block.
Misplays happen it’s okay.
Great game! One question though, shouldn't Larry have died on the big Swing from Manny, since his Sauron had decayed, thus should not have been able to block?

Larry actually should have lost this one, when he brought Sauron into play using Ghouls night out it gained decayed, but then later blocked Manny's Riders of Rohan, he should have taken lethal damage that turn.
At 28:08 The second Sauron couldn't block the Riders cause he had decayed right? He would be dead there :P
Larry should have been dead when Manny swung out as he cannot block with Sauron. The spell that reanimated Sauron gives him decayed which states that creature cannot block.
Didn't Larry's blocker that saved him from Manny's attack have decayed with it being from Ghouls Night Out ( 23:30 )? Which means he couldn't have blocked the 4/4 attacker ( 28:05 ) and would have died?
Love the show and love Larry but shouldnt he be dead turn five on Manny's attack? He used Ghouls Night Out to reanimate Sauron, the Dark Lord so it gained decayed meaning it can't block. But then he used it to block lethal damage coming from Manny

but am i Wrong? Sauron the Darklord came into play with Ghuls Night out at 23:28 and had Decayed he couldn't Block at 28:04 with it and would have been ousted with exact lethal? (if nothing else in hand would have safed him)
