Yea...and this was not the case where a misplay doesn't effect the game...That's why you should always have a counter/token for anything that changes the stats and abilities of a card.
Bro, Larry is king of decks. Hes commander isnt that crazy, but he puts up any deck with such unique synergies and always outsmart/outplay opponents with such finess. Love Larry, hes my favorite of this channel!
Larry should have died on the swing from the Aragorn player though. His untapped non-commander Sauron had decayed from the Ghoul's Night Out which means it shouldn't have been able to block the 4/4. He was swung at for 14 damage and had 14 life so he should have died on that attack.
I believe there was a misplay. At 27:59, Manny attacks Larry and One of the creatures is blocked by Sauron, the Dark Lord. Sauron had decayed (Can't block). Larry should have been dead.
Ghouls' Night Out (23:23) revives creatures and gives the "Decay", meaning they can't block and must be sacrificed if it attacked. Sauron, the Dark Lord has Decay, so he can't block. So Larry should have died to the Riders or Rohan (28:10)
It’s that true LGS or Kitchen table magic, mistakes get made for sure. But we have fun. We still had lots of fun playing this game even with that misplay. During the live that it got pointed out too. Lots of you folks have great eyes.
Great episode and love watching you guys play. Stop letting Larry win 😂 and also I wanna see somebody use Alela, the Cunning Conqueror she’s probably one of my favorite commanders.
Love the video, but I caught a game altering error: Larry should not have been able to block with his Sauron, the Dark Lord at 28:05 because he returned it to the battlefield with Ghouls’ Night Out at 23:28 which gives these creatures Decayed (can’t block, when attacks sacrifice at end of combat). This block prevented 4 damage which would’ve been lethal.
Ghouls' Night Out gives the creatures decayed. Larry's Sauron the Dark Lord he gets off it isn't able to block. At 28:08 Larry blocks with it preventing 4 damage from Manny's Riders of Rohan. Because of this block Larry survives at 4, without it he (presumably) dies.
I have a question about Boros Charm. If Vahan stole the Orc Army after Boros Charm resolved giving the army indestructible, would it have kept the indestructible until end of turn to survive the Blasphemous Act? Having that blocker wouldn't have saved him, but Larry would have had to send the final creature at Vahan instead of Lynch to get the kill.
28:20 Larry cheated blocking with Dark Lord Sauron; he had Decayed from its Ghouls Night Out summon, thus it could not block and that was game for him. (Whether it was intentional or not is anyone's guess, easy to miss seeing as none of the other 3 players remembered.)
Can’t forget the decayed counter. Not sure how much it would have changed things , couldn’t have used a vent tomb anymore. Catch y’all on the flippity !
SPOILERS: Bit of a game-altering error here. Larry should have died at Manny's combat 28:00 in. Sauron had Decayed from his previous Ghouls Night Out so he couldn't have blocked there. Manny had just enough damage to punch him for lethal. Still, it was a fun game to watch through! I like seeing a bunch of early politics in games. This was a very fun episode!
great game ... but am i Wrong? Sauron the Darklord came into play with Ghuls Night out at 23:28 and had Decayed he couldn't Block at 28:04 with it and would have been ousted with exact lethal? (if nothing else in hand would have safed him)
Didn't Larry's blocker that saved him from Manny's attack have decayed with it being from Ghouls Night Out ( 23:30 )? Which means he couldn't have blocked the 4/4 attacker ( 28:05 ) and would have died?
Larry should have died at 28:09. Sauron, the dark lord had decayed from the reanimation spell, so it couldn't block. Still loved this episode, excited for more!
Great game! One question though, shouldn't Larry have died on the big Swing from Manny, since his Sauron had decayed, thus should not have been able to block?
44:16 Nah, that's smoke. Like, standard is inflating the price, but she's gonna be atleast $30 forever. Targeting the Sheoldred was the correct play, the misplay was all in the boros charm target. But hey I probably would've missed it too, it's hard enough to calculate damage when combat phase comes, it's even harder to factor in spells while it's still on an opponents turn. So ironic that Larry was at exactly 4 though XD
So I am pretty sure that Larry actually should have been dead at 28:00. Manny full attacked him and he blocked with sauron, the dark lord but it has decay from the reanimation spell so he would not be able to block it. Even if it knocked him to 1 life he wouldn't have been able to use his ancient tomb to cast sepchural primordial. Overall great game though thanks for the post!
wasnt the sauron with the legendary ward a decayed zombie? so larry shouldnt be able to block with it? 23:33 the spell he casted, 27:55 the attack that idk if the damage would have killed him tbh
Love the show and love Larry but shouldnt he be dead turn five on Manny's attack? He used Ghouls Night Out to reanimate Sauron, the Dark Lord so it gained decayed meaning it can't block. But then he used it to block lethal damage coming from Manny
Any patrons on here, do the decklists from all past episodes stay on the patreon? Relatively new here, but seeing some older episodes with lists i wanna take a closer look at.
Larry shouldn't have been able to block with Sauron, The Dark Lord when Manny attacked him since it technically had Decayed from Ghouls' Night out. Still crazy though that he was able to pull out the win. Awesome decks.
If i'm understanding correct, Larry should of died from the full swing? The Sauron he blocked with for 4 damage (would be lethal) was decayed due to the card he used to bring him to the field?
Sorry to spoiler it by Larry cheated (not intensional) - When Manny did a big swing at him, he blocked with Sauron... problem is that Sauron had "Decayed" - that means he cannot block... so he would be dead (it was exacly leathal attack).
Larry is so good he can win even though he has 0 life! They forgot that the Sauron he blocked Manny's attack with had decayed and could not block. So Manny DID defeat Larry. Which makes a bit funny with the discussion after that turn and the after-the-game talk.
great game ! very good game play from larry except that he should have died from the manny attack because Sauron had decayed, he could not block the riders of rohan ! this actually change everything, it would be nice to see the other ending of the game !
When Larry cast Ghouls' Night Out chose Sauron The Dark Lord from his graveyard and then entered the battlefield with Decayed or not? So he couldn't block or am I wrong? He would have died when Manny attacked him right? Sorry if I don't understand 😁
When larry blocked manny's attack with sauron it had decayed as a keyword from ghouls night out, right? So it was not a legal blocker, or am I mistaken? Nonetheless a great game I enjoyed very much!
Larry's Ghouls Night Out makes all the creatures brought back have decayed. Decayed creatures can't block. Larry would have taken 3 more damage from the attack and been unable to use ancient tomb for mana in future turns...which really changes the entire game. Shame it wasn't noticed.
Didn't Larry bring Sauron the Dark lord in when he casted Ghoul's Night Out? Giving Sauron decayed which means when Manny all out swung at him Sauron shouldn't have been able to block with a creature with decayed. Nonetheless really good game.
28:10 Larry should have been dead right? cause that Sauron had decayed from the "ghouls' night out" and should not have been able to block, or am I missing something?
The block with Sauron at around 28:00 I think it's illegal. That Sauron had Decayed and couldn't block. Larry should be dead by that attack. Other than that, great game as always!
Scary Larry? more like Scamy Larry. He cant block with that Sauron with decay, and need to discard at least a card to draw cards when the ring tempts you. Either way, really fun game, and amazings decks. So keep it up Aragorn, you defeat the dark lord, and congrats to Lynch the real winner.
like to ask lynch how would handle someone casting 2 ankh of mishra turn one. turn 2 orb of dreams then turn 3 storm cauldron then turn 4 umbilicus on the table.
Larry should have been the first out hahahaha oops guys... lmfao (@ 28:00 sauron the dark lord was a zombie with decay due to to ghoul's night out ) great game though guys!!
Wasn't Sauron brought back with decay? So Larry should not have been able to block, thus him being taken out of the game. Correct me if I'm wrong comments.
I love Larry and all, but, he couldn’t block with Sauron with decayed.
He should be dead that Sauron couldnt block cuz had decay. But noone noticed🤷
Couldn't agree more!
Larry should have died on the swing from the Aragorn player though. His untapped non-commander Sauron had decayed from the Ghoul's Night Out which means it shouldn't have been able to block the 4/4. He was swung at for 14 damage and had 14 life so he should have died on that attack.

On 28:08 Sauron couldn't block, because he has decay. It sadly changed the outcome of the game.
Love lynches mono black decks! Can't get enough of it. Makes me understand what it's like to play against my deck. Keep up the amazing plays!
Sauron with decayed. Larry was not able to block with that one 😢 anyways gg's
Larry always a man of culture, using the not busted Sauron
He cast the dark lord immediately 😂
Shocking how fast that came out right?
Larry is HIM
Omg. A turn 3 Tempt and everyone gets tempted? That's Magical Christmas.
dude this was such a sick game, i really liked all the decks and they all did some cool stuff. love games like these
Thank you so much for posting the games, it's a highlight of my day.
Great game and art on the cards brother great time in chat like always see you soon
We need a custom Larry, the dark lord card with the villainous choice mechanic.
The man is a Legend.
I feel like i could watch 20 episodes of these decks
Damn. Really?
So Larry actually lost at 28:09 because his Sauron can't block. It has Decayed when he reanimated it on his turn.
The lads out here making a banger of an episode. Enjoyed it thoroughly. Huge fan of the channel.
Thanks for watching.
I just wanna see someone with a Uril, the mistalker deck on here one time😩😩
Ghouls' Night Out (23:23) revives creatures and gives the "Decay", meaning they can't block and must be sacrificed if it attacked. Sauron, the Dark Lord has Decay, so he can't block. So Larry should have died to the Riders or Rohan (28:10)
Why am I not surprised this is the best take I've seen in 2 days. We'll said.
Can’t block with the Sauron, he had decayed.
It’s that true LGS or Kitchen table magic, mistakes get made for sure. But we have fun. We still had lots of fun playing this game even with that misplay. During the live that it got pointed out too. Lots of you folks have great eyes.
@@IHateYourDeck game still was awesome! No complaints 😂
Great episode and love watching you guys play. Stop letting Larry win 😂 and also I wanna see somebody use Alela, the Cunning Conqueror she’s probably one of my favorite commanders.
Love the video, but I caught a game altering error:
Larry should not have been able to block with his Sauron, the Dark Lord at 28:05 because he returned it to the battlefield with Ghouls’ Night Out at 23:28 which gives these creatures Decayed (can’t block, when attacks sacrifice at end of combat). This block prevented 4 damage which would’ve been lethal.
Best commander show on yt!
The fuckon goat Larry 🐐 🙌
We love Larry!!!
@@IHateYourDeck yes but he lost because he cant block with decayed sauron xD
Scary Larry is the GOAT for sure.
@IHateYourDeck btw Larry lost at around the 28-minute mark. Sauron blocked a 4 power creature. But Sauron was decayed and could not block.
Larry up against the ropes at 2 with the back to back Primordials, hell yeah!
always happy to see sauron in the command zone, be it dark lord or lord of the ring. love that deck
I loveeeee tempt with discovery! Not really a pet card of mine but it feels close. Just love it anytime I get to cast it no matter the results.
I’ve said it before, LARRY IS A GOD. Good stuff bro
2 of my favorite decks, Alcatroz and Sauron!
Didn't the Sauron at 28:08 have decayed? It could not block there :/
I think there's a misplay, In 28:07, Sauron, The Dark Lord has decayed, so he can't block and Larry would be dead.
I hit a 5 man tempt with discovery Friday night lol. It was amazing untapping next turn.
28:20 Larry cheated blocking with Dark Lord Sauron; he had Decayed from its Ghouls Night Out summon, thus it could not block and that was game for him. (Whether it was intentional or not is anyone's guess, easy to miss seeing as none of the other 3 players remembered.)
I think at 28:20 Swing should have been lethal to Larry, cause the Sauron cannot block due to decayed and that would be the missing 4 damage
I think Zotz is the best nickname for Aclazotz. Let's make it happen.
Larry telling Manny, “Yeah, but you should of killed me”
Lmfao, Manny made the oh shit face
Can’t forget the decayed counter. Not sure how much it would have changed things , couldn’t have used a vent tomb anymore. Catch y’all on the flippity !
Love Larry's crisp commentary.
At 27:58 mistake! Sauron is decayed and it can't block so Manny would have taken Larry out.
Every time y’all sing the Batman theme all I can think of is the metal Batman videos
Great game y'all! Although unfortunately Sauron, the dark lord had Decayed and would not be able to block.
Great game! But Sauron should not have been able to block after being reanimated with Ghoul's night out since it gets decayed 28:07
SPOILERS:
Bit of a game-altering error here. Larry should have died at Manny's combat 28:00 in. Sauron had Decayed from his previous Ghouls Night Out so he couldn't have blocked there. Manny had just enough damage to punch him for lethal.

Correct me if im wrong but when manny swings out at larry he can't block because sauron has decayed. The attack would have been lethal....sorry Larry
great game ...
but am i Wrong? Sauron the Darklord came into play with Ghuls Night out at 23:28 and had Decayed he couldn't Block at 28:04 with it and would have been ousted with exact lethal? (if nothing else in hand would have safed him)

Larry should have died at 28:09. Sauron, the dark lord had decayed from the reanimation spell, so it couldn't block. Still loved this episode, excited for more!
at 28:04 Larry would be dead from the attack because his Sauron has decaeyd from Ghouls Night Out and cant block. still nice game.
Larry would have been dead, No? He wasnt able to Block with sauron ( 28:09 ) because of 'decayed'.
Always happens with this weird mechanic :)
oh no Larry! Sauron the Dark Lord had Decayed 23:28 and couldn't block there when you saved yourself! 28:05
That Sauron deck was sweet.
When your throat is feeling scratchy from all that underground cavern air get Alcazotz! Number one Cough lozenge on Ixalan :P LOL
And so again we learn a valuable ihyd lesson: never make a deal with Larry 😅
Larry is a good player.
@@IHateYourDeck and a great politician 😁
"Silly decision" Vahan was saaaalty! 😂
I'd appreciate if the video description captured who the other people were and some links to their stuff!

Larrys on thumbnail, Lets F'N goooooo 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Let’s go!!!!
I felt like i needed something sweet to balance all the salt in this episode.
Salt was flowing.
Just want to ask ... nobody noticed Larry blocking with Decayed Sauron and not dying thanks to that ?
Dude… got so sad because I thought Larry was about to go out early… then… the man, the mustache, the legend himself threw down the gauntlet
Ak-la-zots. Say it with me Lynch. 😂
It wouldn’t be I Hate Your Deck without Lynch mis-pronouncing a card.
When larry blocked manny's attack with sauron it had decayed as a keyword from ghouls night out, right?
So it was not a legal blocker, or am I mistaken?

I think Vahan had an indestructable orc army at the end there
That depends on when he gained control of the Orc army. Before or after the casting of Boros charm
