That's got to be one of best Etali hits I've seen in some time. Cards were great individually but the synergy between Toski, Rhystic and the Locust God is insane.
Tbh this might have been one of the most fun mtg games I've seen. Playing a proper mix of high power cards and jank in a way that worked and was somehow balanced across the table. Another fantastic episode guys.
Really good group this week! Always love Larry and Lynch! Other fellas were very chill and seemed to have good energy! Great stuff, looking forward to next time!
Just so you know, at 46:00, when Kevin died, the Humble Defector should've gone to Matt. (I've never seen anyone get this rule right, so don't stress about it!) How it actually works: every time someone gains control of it, there's a control effect created on it. But that doesn't remove other control effects: it just takes precedence because it came later. So at the time Kevin died, Larry's Humble Defector had three control effects assigning control to Kevin, then Matt, then Kevin. Last one applies, so Kevin controlled it. When Kevin dies, all control effects giving him control of permanents end, so both effects giving him control of Humble Defector end. But the one giving control to Matt doesn't. That effect is still there, so Matt is now the controller of Humble Defector. (There's actually a ruling on Gatherer explaining this, if you're curious!)
This was such a fun game… man, I would love to play magic with y’all. This whole channel is so wholesome. It feels like what it is. Friends playing magic. New friends and old friends.
I don't think it mattered this game, but an important note for peeps: Myriad has the tokens exile at the end of combat, not at the beginning of the next end step. I have an Obeka deck and I don't include the myriad mechanic because most of the cards to break with her are "at the beginning of the next end step."
Excited to see some new brews! Definitely gonna use some stuff from the Jennie Fay deck for mine. Good game everyone!! Also, Mike and Larry's chemistry together and with guests is always so great!
Great video!! My gf loves her dino pentlaza deck but I've been picking up blink spells and stuff for a while. Maybe I'll build a version similar to Lynch to show how builds can totally flip stuff around.
Larry, next time i hope you come around with the kill-stache deck again. This one was fun, but per rule of coin-flip, hit or miss. Lynch has been winning a lot the last few matches (we saw). Time for a change ;)
Please correct me if im wrong but Krak Tumbs make you flip twice, then ignore one. So instead of reflip only the bad throw, you should have throw 5 dice twice and then keep those you need ? I may be lost.
miss play! Myriad exile triggers at end of combat. Elturel Survivors tokens should not have stayed on the board since he tapped his commander in 2nd main phase after casting a creature spell.
Wouldn’t roaming throne already had killed him because it doubles abilities and since purphoros is a creature it would have done two damage anyways? I could be wrong and if I am nvm
@@JasonOshinkoI think they are talking about the last turn where he got the trigger from the non token copy at the beginning of the turn, phased it out during combat and triggered it again when it re entered in the end step. Which is against the rules though I don't think it actually changes anything.
Yusri mind me does the damge their self. LifeLink gains life for any dmg the permant were to deal as a statebased. So before the game can check Larry being dead. He has to account any life lost and gained to his life total. Since he never dipped to 0 after checks being made he lives
Yes, I came here to comment that. The attack trigger from Yusri goes on the stack and resolves first before the damage step where lifelink would have him gain life. So he takes 4 damage from the dice roll and hits 0 life total before he has even gained life. It's all fun and games though
@@IHateYourDeck he's a Mardu commander from the Fallout Commander set, super fun! He triggers off of rolling higher than a 4/6 on ANY die, so d20 effects are busted with him! I've got a real spicy combo list that uses Vexing Puzzlebox and Clock of Omens to go near-infinite and make an army of 3/3 Securitron robots lol
I might be wrong but shouldnt Larry have killed himself at 47:20? When he attacks with his commander that isnt the same as dealing combat damage and gaining life... larry only would have gained life after actually hitting Lynch and that would only happen after his commanders triggered ability resolves and kills him and after lynch declares blockers. Larry should have lost the game on the spot... Or am I wrong about that? It doesn't change the outcome of the game but I just wanted to ask because I was confused
correction the damage is from his creature wich i equiped with basiilisk collar lifelink workes on yourself so each ping from the creature triggers lifelink thereby not killing himself
I have to say this, but rolling dice instead of flipping a coin should be apart of pregame talk, cause I wouldn't allow it. I love Larry to the moon and back and I agree with the rest of comments once I see him on the thumbnail I'm pumped, but flipping coins it not rolling dice, wording on the cards say that for a rule reason.
705.1: "[...]Other methods of randomization may be substituted for flipping a coin as long as there are two possible outcomes of equal likelihood and all players agree to the substitution. For example, the player may roll an even-sided die and call “odds” or “evens,” or roll an even-sided die and designate that “odds” means “heads” and “evens” means “tails.”" It as legal as long as all players agree. I'm wondering why you wouldn't allow it?
Flipping 5 coins is unwieldy irl and more so on camera. The 50% chance of heads or tails is the same 50% chance of odd or even number outcome using any die with an even number of sides. The math maths, furthermore who doesn't like yahtzee?
Can you please edit out the 'give you the true LGS experience " from your intro? It makes no sense unless you go around to local LGS and shoot your shows there to help promote small business owners. If anything you're closer to 'kitchen table' magic with your friends.

That was seriously one of the better games of magic I’ve seen here. Everybody doing their thing, everybody interacting, everybody having fun.
That's got to be one of best Etali hits I've seen in some time. Cards were great individually but the synergy between Toski, Rhystic and the Locust God is insane.
I love that Larry is starting to become just a main on the channel. Wish I could come out that way and join yall for a game one day.
I'm just impressed by how many tool t-shirts someone can have at this point.
Glad to hear Lynch being a dad is the best thing in the world.

Is that the real McLovin?

The absolutely funniest way around split second is the Perplexing Chimera.
Hmmm Larry, even though I saw you punch yourself the most, I like that coin flip deck. I want to build one now 😅
I have one, it's a oooppps I win deck with krarks thumb and just combos everywhere. Fun deck for sure.
Kevin loaded his deck with absolute powerhouses and proceeded to burn through all his life in no time. Bro was there for a good time not a long one.
This was such a fun game… man, I would love to play magic with y’all. This whole channel is so wholesome. It feels like what it is. Friends playing magic. New friends and old friends.
No lie, it kinda is that. Glad you're enjoying!
Petitioning to make Larry cohost.
Lynch and Larry are two of my favorite people on the internet to ever play the game. This is why I still watch this channel.
For the record, for everyone in the chat, I hate all of your decks ❤.

Dude that was so rad, everyone got to pop off at some point, and the tides kept changing! Awesome vibes all around.
Great game guys, we love to see everyone popping off and having fun.
That was insane. So much back and forth.
Fantastic game. All should come back and do another.
It didn’t affect the end result but Legion’s Initiative makes Pantlaza 5 toughness, so would have discovered the Mirari’s Wake.
at 40:30 he would only have 1 copy of Elturel Survivors because the myriad copies disappear at end of combat not end of turn
Love to see a heavy game where everyone's doing something, great game guys
Larry, next time i hope you come around with the kill-stache deck again. This one was fun, but per rule of coin-flip, hit or miss.
Lynch has been winning a lot the last few matches (we saw). Time for a change ;)
Kevin is funny I’m cracking up
Lynch: Mirari's Wake was it. Pantlaza discovers 5 for herself, which means 5 or less, not "less than 5". It's a slightly better cascade.
Also the Jinnie Fay player could have created creatures with Jenny instead of the two Map tokens.
Pretty much the best Etali hit I've seen so far :D
When Lynch attacked Larry and he went to 2 health, he attacked him with the Rager, he can't target Larry with that bad boy. Good game though. 45:27
pretty sure the enchantment was gone before he attacked. the enchantment gave him protection from lightning ragers
cool game. everyone had a chance to go off a bit.
GG guys. Liked seeing every deck doing its thang.
Is it just me or is Lynch more high than usual in this episode?
Lets go Jinnie! that deck always pops off - Hope to see it do the same on today's video
Everyone forgets the trample part of garruks uprising
Yay, the staples deck wins again!
4:12 awwww Larry can be cute 🥰
I like that larry brings strong meme decks, his commander seemed fun but deff not a pod destroyer like Jenie Fay
Please correct me if im wrong but Krak Tumbs make you flip twice, then ignore one. So instead of reflip only the bad throw, you should have throw 5 dice twice and then keep those you need ? I may be lost.
Esper Sentinel "only" triggers once per turn, per opponent.
Don't think it mattered in the end...
1:00:09 if Garruk’s uprising was on on the field, was Matt not dead to trample if you didn’t Eerie Interlude?
Lynch could've avoided all that crap by not flickering grand abolisher lol
I love this show! Keep it up guys!
So Lynch came
To play today…
Incredible game!
What a game! I thought Matt had it with Jetmir
That was an epic game if commander!
45:03 risky but he could left Kevin at 1 is funnier
Was he drawing on Toski for each damage or creature that dealt damage? I know he said damage, but that doesn't always mean that's what he did.
Congratulations Lynch
Sun-Flavored XD
Myriad tokens get exiled at the end of combat not end of turn.
stoned magic take backs > normal take backs
I thought Kevin was the actor who play McLovin lol.
miss play! Myriad exile triggers at end of combat. Elturel Survivors tokens should not have stayed on the board since he tapped his commander in 2nd main phase after casting a creature spell.
the copy from kiki jiki would stay so he would keep 1 token
Wouldn’t roaming throne already had killed him because it doubles abilities and since purphoros is a creature it would have done two damage anyways? I could be wrong and if I am nvm
i wanna play vs larry
What did Lynch do to make Pantlaza trigger multiple times in a turn? It says "Do this only once each turn" on the card.
He had a token copy.
@@JasonOshinkoI think they are talking about the last turn where he got the trigger from the non token copy at the beginning of the turn, phased it out during combat and triggered it again when it re entered in the end step. Nasty Etali hit
Shouldn’t the greaves have moved to its the defector? Maybe I’m an idiot…
It didn't matter but Matt couldn't sac his food because of Mike's Grand Abolisher
Didnt Larry die when taking 4 at 47:25 ? it happens on attack, before damage, so lifelink doesnt work.
"the active player may end the turn"
Yusri mind me does the damge their self. LifeLink gains life for any dmg the permant were to deal as a statebased. So before the game can check Larry being dead. He has to account any life lost and gained to his life total. Since he never dipped to 0 after checks being made he lives
I swear Larry should’ve lost on the Yusri trigger at 48 minutes-ish because Yusri trigger is on attack not dealing damage right?
Yes, I came here to comment that. The attack trigger from Yusri goes on the stack and resolves first before the damage step where lifelink would have him gain life. So he takes 4 damage from the dice roll and hits 0 life total before he has even gained life. It's all fun and games though
Okay larry needs to play Mr. House, if he likes Yusri he'd go nuts with my Mr. House list.
We'll have to tell Larry about this. What is Mr. House?
@@IHateYourDeck he's a Mardu commander from the Fallout Commander set, super fun! He triggers off of rolling higher than a 4/6 on ANY die, so d20 effects are busted with him! High roller's dream
Bro! Send a link to the list , don't threaten me with a good time!
Obeka is great I’ve pulled a turn 4 win milling opponents for 120
How did you do so / what were the combo pieces you set up? Curious to know!
Should have used Cadric to copy Purphoros, then flicker everything for 4 damage on return. Game over right?
Hell, flicker everything and copy all the Legends again for even more pings of 4 damage.
I really want to be on this show.
I didn’t need lynch last turn I knew they were dead
I hate to be that guy: but Myriad triggers at the end of combat, not the end of turn. So slight misplay with Obeka...
do we have to be a patreon to be in the discord?
I swear WoTC need to change the pantzlaza to Sun Flavored. I hear that too often to not be the actual name. GG
Shouldn’t there have been a lot more pantlaza triggers?
Larry is the man
It's pantalonesLaza!
Jetmir all my creatures have Vigijynch’s
does the color correction make the green seem blue to anyone else?
Is that....McLovin?
Larry wins by convincing people to trust them.
Calling it now
Larry does it all the time off screen too. We all warn others not to trust Larry but our playgroup doesn't listen
Lol what, David? You're not allowed to lie on the internet dude! 😂
Start of game: "Kill Larry, world peace"
One hour later: *doesn't kill Larry*
I might be wrong but shouldnt Larry have killed himself at 47:20? i agree because the damage and draws, are when attacks are declared not when combat damage resolves in the later steps of the combat phase

Love matt
Go! Greetings from Brasil
concealed consignment is op
Matt could of one last turn, he could of made 2/2 haste cats made 18 of them instead of the dogs
I wish Toski was that good
#HEsDOINGtheTHING
Give Yusri lifelink to not take damage
Why not swords the red god
Kitty!!!!! 🐈 😻 🐈⬛️ 😺 🐱 😸
#SPOOKYAMOUNTofMANA
Larry no 🤠
Why is David no longer on the show?
We just filmed with him recently! School keeps him busy.
The old Obeka.. pls play the new one ☝️
Garcia Frank Lewis Patricia Davis Jeffrey
1st fn finally!!!!! And 1st like
