did this to my 07 explorer a few months back. i also added a dual 10 inch amped sub that fits perfectly underneath my back seat. next i want to replace my factory door speakers( once the weather is better).they are 6x8. will 6x9 fit?
would it matter what radio/touchscreen is put in? not so great with tech in cars but i have a 2007 ford edge and wanted to do this. i wanted a more up-to-date touchscreen but i didn’t know if that would work/connect properly
I just installed a radio in my 07 edge but my factory sub isn’t working. Did you have 2 white and blue wires coming out of the smaller connector? If so where did you plug them in at. The instructions that came with my harness were terrible.
I need to take my radio out. But am not replacing it. I would like to know how to remove stuck CDs. Had to jump my car in the winter and electrical went nuts…

What radio/touchscreen did you replace with? That’s the only thing I cannot find in your description.
it was the pioneer avh1550 nex i think. couldnt find a link for it at the time
