To anyone doing this, make sure you use jacks on both sides at the same time. I have a question when removing the two bolts from the wheel hub (still learning part names) and the strut my strut forces down and I can't bring it back up would I need a specific tool or am I doing something wrong? When I watch your video it doesn't force down at all
Did you remove the nut on the center at the top of the strut assembly top hat? If so that means the strut is no longer held together and compressing the spring, meaning the spring force is pushing the suspension down with a lot of force. This is a very dangerous situation because the spring could cause major damage to objects or people because of the extreme pressure it has on it.
