My 2010 ford edge is constantly trying to take in a CD even when the car is off, when I put a CD in and turn it off it just ticks every few seconds. I took the radio fuse out so it won’t make my battery go dead. Thanks for the video, I’ll be replacing it soon.

The car is equipped with backup assistance... is this still functional with the JVC stereo or should I just order the back up camera
I appreciate the video.. my girlfriend's 2008 Edge car radio is killing the battery. It thinks there's a CD stuck it's trying to eject it.
I am about to tackle this project... how does the JVC sound with the factory speakers?

The factory sound system in the 2008 edge is really good! I would like a little subwoofer in the back but otherwise the speakers really put out
I put in a boss elite series radio. My edge limited did not have JBL sound.
Factory speakers are doodoo🤣 I'm going to put new ones in.
The car is always in the Shop though.
Water pumps wreck the whole engine on an edge.. they're inside the engine..
So as soon as I blow 2500 bucks on that.

Quick question, what is the size of this radio? I have been having a hard time finding a ford edge radio install video, and this is the first one I've seen.

I purchased everything and tried to install the same exact radio. It did not work, I'm guessing the harness and little box that comes with it was defective, I ordered another standard wiring harness and going to try it with the swc module
Are you running an after amp? If so where did you tap into for the remote turn on wire for the amp? I also have a 2008 edge by the way

What dash kit did you use because I have the Boss audio head unit and there's a half inch gap at the bottom
How and where did you connect the swc wires to the back of the jvc
Jvc has an swc wire which is blue with a yellow stripe that had to be installed to the same color wire from the swc module your using
@@jptheinstallguy it was confusing but I got it , I used the two wires that where on the plug going into the radio. I did not have navigation so that threw me off too. I got it hooked up last nigh and the swc works , thanks for the reply
What mite help others is that if it does not have a swc jack that you use the the blue/yellow wire and it goes to the remote wire on the jvc. It makes since to me kno that it's acting as a remote for the unit but before I was lost .

You didn't have to undo all the heat controls and stuff. You coulda just popped it all off at once and then laid it down all together
