Hope to see you live, before I die, you Celtic music genius man, with a tight tight band, you Van the Man, on Cypress Avenue, 7 years ago. Alex in Norway.❤
I am 67yrs and I finally got to realize one of my top Bucket List of seeing him 2yrs ago. For 3hrs he performed nonstop. I thought my Heart would explode with Absolute and Unbelievable Musical JOY. VAN is Absolutely and Undeniably and Forever THE MAN in my Heart. This will go down as one of The Most Happiest Concert Moments of MY Life EVER. LOVE YOU VAN MORRISON 💯🥰😍🤩💞💕
So I’m 70 and have been enjoying you from afar for years. Thanks for continuing the harmonica rasping through your microphone. I’d rather listen to your well-welded blues tunes than baking cookies. Course If I put your stuff on I can bake awhile in a positively pleased mood.
It's so incredible that this man hasn't lost any of his musical skills! In my youth when I first heard Brown Eyed Girl and Gloria among others, I said to myself, that I hope he never leaves us. Now I'm 72 and I think that he isn't going anywhere soon. Backstreet Jellyroll. Van is the Man!
Got to say, Van the man been listening to you for at least 55 yrs. You are still the man. Thank you for all the greatness.and your still going... Thank you🎶🤗👍😘

I'm a late comer to Van's party and career, but at age 71, (in this event) he looks like a man on a mission for God. Thank you Van, for the songs and for your revelation.
2015, 70th birthday concert. This is Van at his multi-instrumental best. I always liked his guitar leads, and of course when he gets the sax going well, it's a treat. Thank you Van for all the years of delightful songs, poems, griping, and expressions of human emotion.
Back in the fall of 2020, Morrison announced three topical singles protesting COVID-19 restrictions plus a petition to end the temporary ban on live concerts. In one of these songs, “No More Lockdown,” he crooned about scientists “making up crooked facts,” labeling the perpetrators of these measures “fascist bullies.” In an unprecedented turn of events, the songs became cause for Northern Ireland’s health minister, Robin Swann, to pen an op-ed for Rolling Stone, calling Morrison’s new lyrics “dangerous” and a great comfort to “the tinfoil hat brigade who crusade against masks and vaccines and think this is all a huge global plot to remove freedoms.”

Amazing video, Van is a gift to humanity and a treasure. Only hope to see him atleast one time before the last 'ain't it rightgeous' shadow darkens over us.
An observation; Van is one of the masters. Here's how we know: he is so prolific and still on top of his game that he's cycled through multiple band members to the point that they're now half his age...and the music is as good as ever. Jackson Browne has done it too. It's amazing.
First time I have watched and listened to this video. I have been a Van Morrison fan since his early days. I started with the group Them and Here Comes the Night. His music is like magic and excites and sooths me. I cannot listen to him too often as I think that would be absurd. Thanks, Van, for all these years of music enjoyment.
I always wondered and speculated where the Van comes from. Thought it might have been some Dutch heritage, but no it was "Ivan". Love the man's magic. No one like Van! Cool
Saw Van at the Cambridge Corn Exchange @ 1994, unforgettable, thirteen piece band including an oboe, played for three hours straight, with guest Richard Gere, boiling hot night, memories are made of this... Thank you Mr Morrison!!
There’s a concert that I was able to get years ago (bootleg) that had Richard Gere on stage with the man and waxing lyrical about playing with Van - can’t find it anymore 😫
Me encanta este grandisimo músico y excelente compositor, cantante e interprete. Jamas me canso de escucharle a él y a los fantasticos y excelentes músicos y cantantes que le acompañan... Viva por siempre Mr. Van Morrison !❤❤❤❤❤
Yes me and Van go way back in time, Yes van came to my house when I was just a little boy who loved great music, Van always cheered me up with his music, yes Van came to my house when I was just a young boy when I turned on the radio and tuned into Radio Luxembourg I would get to hear Van singing his songs with Them and a little late on his own. Theresa Maria Krug - Love you Van Morrison! Astral Weeks has always been my favorite LP. Great to see this video on his birthday and on Cyprus Avenue. Thank you!
It is a great pleasure, which I have, to have my breakfast, accompanied by beautiful music in the background. Today, when I opened the cell. on RUclips, I came across this beautiful outdoor performance by Van Morrison. I have always been enchanted by this delicious and sensitive way of integrating man with nature and music. Thank you for adding happy moments to my day.👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🤲😍❤

Thank you so much for posting this for us to enjoy. Van has been a guide and a source of comfort for the last 25 years, although he himself would deny that he is anything but just 'a songwriter'. Love him to bits.
he is a superior individual ... he has never sought "in your face" attention or glory ... he enjoys privacy and respect ... that's why he is superior and a saxophone player! humility is so magnificent and makes the individual beautiful ... and he is beautiful and he's IRISH ... superior, superior ... i love him
Van the Man! Sing that Thing! I saw Van in Chicago in '72 or '73 at the Auditorium when I was 12 or 13 with My older brothers not My first concert but I think it was My 2nd "He couldn't stop now" (A little stage fright but I couldn't tell that much-still a great set)
Sorry me the fact that this wonderful concert was only seen by so many people here. Unfortunately, this is also a confirmation that very few people value real values in this case as a musician of a true genius such as Van.
About 52 minutes in, where you can feel the silence and the hairs on the back of your neck stand up and Van transcends and takes the audience with him.
I love hearing Van play the sax. You can really tell he's in control of the instrument, not just doing the guitar equivalent of strumming chords. He likely doesn't practice a whole lot, it's just an occasional thing. Imagine what he'd be like if he had decided to go all-in with that as his instrument.
thank you for sharing this is the most beautiful concert i have ever seen i love all of Vans Music Amen i love the music i just cannot get enough of his music :)
What a beautiful gift he gives us on his birthday 🎂!!! Definitely bucket list to see him live.
