I need more obedience, I have plenty of knowledge of God's word; but oh how far I am from being obedient. Lord Jesus, help me live according to what I believe. May your love be perfected in my heart because your perfect love casts away fear. May your Holy Spirit prompt us & move us to obey you by love. Thank you for the cross.
Torben’s testimony reminds me of what I learned by reading Charles Finney’s biography, listening to him explain why he refused seminary education because he didn’t want to be educated out of expecting fruit, or limiting the Holy Spirit to eloquent doctrine. My Pastor friend called Finney stupid, saying he utilized pressure to get results. I know that’s just a limited understanding of what happens to people when the Holy Spirit has a useful man. I’m praying 🙏 we need more useful men.

Amen, walk by the Spirit. It is a wonderful adventure! Proverbs 21:1 was a word given to me as a new believer 19 years ago, and I have seen this in my life. A beautiful flowing river, with still waters, and then rapids, but all the time moving with King Jesus 🙌🙌🙏

Thank you, Torben. I am not satisfied at all with just going to church for the rest of my life. I dream of being bolder and sharing the Good News with perfect strangers and being led by the Spirit, but I can't escape that something is missing. I love the Bible. It makes the most sense of the world and people. I read carefully to make sure that I understand.
But I have not been filled with the Spirit though I have prayed often to receive and even got reimmersed into the name of Jesus (previously F, S and HS), but when I didn't receive then I became discouraged.
I feel the battle to truly believe and sense an apathy at times that reveals stubborn unbelief and the desire to "experience God and then I will be able to believe", but is that wrong of me?
I always thought before that I could not choose to believe unless God enabled me, but more and more I believe that trusting God is on us to do and prove through faithfulness. I'm just not exactly sure where to start. I feel like I cannot be a witness if I have not truly encountered God.

My name is Robin and I live in Philadelphia Pennsylvania I'm a 56-year-old woman I've been in bondage over 30 years on and off from addiction please right now pray for my freedom I need to be free so I can be a clean true ambassador for Christ Jesus.. I live in the highways and byways no exaggeration when I open my front door this homeless people left right everywhere burning fires popping up tents all the stores in my area closed down because of all the addiction crime etc.. but I've prayed for people and I've seen demons come out and people delivered from drugs and miracle healings but I need freedom myself please pray for me.. The word trinity or the phrase three persons ijn the godhead ARE NOT IN THE BIBLE either. As you know, Torben, most of denominational Christianity is deceiving people as you said, Those same deceived and deceiving churches are themselves deceived about who God really is. Colossians 2:9 says that Jesus Christ is the fulness of the Godhead bodily. IT NEVER SAYS that Jesus is the second PERSON in the Godhead! The roots of the pagan created trinity doctrine go so far back that people are not even willing to pray about it. You mentioned in your recent video about baptism that you ARE NOT ONENESS!!! I don't call myelf oneness. I am a Bible believer! Why label people with words which are also not in the Bible like modalist. I see that the doctrine of the trinity was put into usage 300 years AFTER the New Testament was written. You are teaching many things that ARE biblical. Why not at least pray about the trinity which is not mentioned in the Bible. BTW 1 John 5:7 was added by the catholic church. I pray that you will consider what I am saying.
I think brother it is better not to talk about yourself but talk about God’s signs, wonders & miracles in your ministry so people will be attracted to Jesus!
