Yes our biggest problem is that we let our experience determine our theology instead of just reading, believing, and doing what the word of God says. Lord please help our unbelief.
If people just did what the Bible said then women would wear head coverings, wives would submit themselves to their husbands as they do the Lord (as if he were God), women would not teach or hold authority over a man and men would all love their wives as Christ loved the church. (Genesis 3:16, 1 Cor 14:33-35, Ephesians 5:22-24, 1 Timothy 2:11-15) Unfortunately people can't seem to just DO WHAT THE BOOK SAYS. They always want to fight the word of God cause it 'doesn't fit the culture' of today or think it was just for 'those times'.

And 1 Timothy 2:12 is very clear "I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man". any argument you would have in conflict with my assessment has been addressed and beaten to death through the years. you will just have to do more research on the history and timeline and culture and context and translation and examples of these topics. if you actually think a woman has to wear a covering on her head or is unable to exercise the gifts of the spirit in relation to men you don't know the God that I know nor are you able to discern the operation of the gifts of the spirit through women to the church. Also I not only understand spiritual heirarchy I teach it. the HUSBAND is the head of the WIFE, in that context. there is no universal heirarchy of man over women outside of the marital framework. I am the head of my wife and she submits to the authority I carry as her husband. She does not submit to any other man because of gender, it us not biblical. the verse is speaking about the relationship between man and wife, not ths male gender universally. Your understanding of do trine would bring all single woman under the authority of all men, not biblical.
This last week the Holy Spirit has been revealing this exact thing in deliverance ministries to me! I have been a part of such ministry and believing in the “necessary steps” to get delivered. I’ve been through deliverance at least four times and wasn’t free! God showed me it was my faith in Him alone, in His holy name that kept me from being delivered. I had given so much power to the demons by thinking on them and believing they are just so powerful that it would be hard to get rid of them. It was all a lie! They have no power over those who call on the name of Jesus! Thank you for setting me free from the deliverance ministry, Jesus, and giving me true deliverance in You! Thank you, Torben, for calling this out! It confirmed what the Spirit is speaking to me and I pray it will open the eyes of many!
This is so needed! I believed a lot of these things for awhile when I was going through a fight for freedom in mine and my husband’s life. Over time God has been changing my understanding. What I’ve often seen from people who teach these things is that they are extremely suspicious of everyone. They see demons everywhere and they are not displaying fruits of the spirit. I see criticism, pride, fear and judgment. They are very cold when you see them unless you join them in their criticism. It makes me so sad. I see it hurting many people who are on the receiving end of the accusations. I want to love others and help them to get free but when I was under this influence I was more afraid of being affected by others. There’s also a constant fear of some spirit being transferred from the other person to yourself…but where is that in scripture?
This podcast is allowing me to grow and be strengthened so much. I know I can stand in the truth and not waiver from His word! Thank you Jesus for opening all our eyes to understand your true gospel more and more.
I recognize a lot of what you are saying. Thank you for speaking up for the truth. I experienced myself that I was not possessed, but simply needed to hear a specific Word from the Bible. This word entered my heart and just pierced it with Truth. I really needed to know God loved me (because of abandonment and rejection) and He revealed very specifically through His Word He did. It was for the first time in my life (brought up a Christian) that the Spirit healed my aching heart by speaking with a personal Word. It was not a deliverance ministry, but a prayer of a woman of faith and a surrendered heart crying out 'I need YOU'. In an instant I was free of deep fear, abondenment issues and suïcidal thoughts. The devil tried a few times to get into my mind again. Since then the Holy Spirit continually teaches me about the renewing of various strange doctrines or truths I came to believe in my life. It's an ongoing process of sanctification by repentance, grace, standing in the Word and in faith and giving me deeper understanding of the measure of Love of our God. Still 'struggling' to discern The Spirit or human wisdom within my own mind. It often blurs the way I look at people, convinced in my own mind I know what it is they're tormented by, but not seeing their heart or hurt. Leaning to much on my own understanding. How do we discern a demon? Will it really be that the Holy Spirit will put it in me? Perhaps the whole point is, I'm thinking it through instead of letting The Savior and Redeemer take care and trusting He will help everybody through it, trusting He will reveal to me in the right time what to say/pray, for I do believe in deliverance and healing for this age. Help us to not be intimidated by demons, by powers, religion, sin or acts of the flesh and step out in faith, leaning on Your understanding and Your ways with an open and expecting heart to see You move mightily in every persons life! This video has blessed me tremendously, I’m a believer who helps people get set free from demonic spirits. I never understood all of the name calling of demons, it brings confusion. It never sat right with me when it came to learning about demons. I’m very grateful for this deception to be lifted off of me! I repent Father!

Thanks for raising this awareness! These ministries don’t realize they are “passing the buck” or the blame from the person to the so called “evil spirit”. Instead of the person repenting the demon takes the blame to prevent that person from being truly delivered into the glorious freedom that is in Christ Jesus.

I am so happy to know the Holy Spirit is giving me discernment through all of your videos have been confirming all the things shown to me by the Holy Spirit discernment that you have posted.. we make things so complicated I wanted to grow in Christ so I started to listen to teachers who teach a lot about demons and different spirits I got so overwhelmed trying to read a book they mentioned naming so many demons and having to remember steps that I didn’t even want to cast out demons or get into that because I was full of fear as well and didn’t have the confidence. I thought this is wrong Lord why is it this way why do we need to make a whole book about something we don’t clearly see in the word of God? Then I watched the video you posted Torben of the simplicity of casting out demons and I never felt so free.. so many confusing teachings just bring confusion and slow down growth I’m sure Satan loves those teachings because it takes 5-10 hours to deliver someone and at the end the person is worn down! I totally agree about what yall are saying about demons and the anointing. I have always wondered the necessity of "knowing" the names of a demon to cast it out, I have had much success with just calling out either unclean spirit or by function such as witchcraft, infirmity, anxiety, etc... I am curious about what you said about curses though, it has been my experience sometimes that specific sins needed to be renounced and repented of before the curse will be broken. I had a friend a couple weeks ago that was having some demonic harassment and he was always renouncing and was having trouble getting freedom no matter who he went to so the Holy Spirit had me go to the throne room with Father as the Judge and then Holy Spirit led me to ask my friend to renounce some sins of his mother. I had him do it privately as it was none of my business but after he renounced the covenants I asked the Father to break the family curse by pleading the blood of Jesus and the second I made the request he began throwing up received deliverance and was leaping up and down for joy feeling as light as a feather. Intriguing experience for sure, but I guess my point is I have seen other instances where people didn't receive there deliverance from a curse until the particular sin was renounced. I guess I am wanting to know a little more in depth on your view of breaking curses.
@@beckyd3546 That doesn't answer the question but he was Holy Spirit filled before we met. I only do deliverance if led by the Holy Spirit and I do not believe the Holy Spirit would unction me to do something that would put my friends life in danger.

Yes, it can because it is not about theology it is the Holy Spirit who lives in us, we just have to be obedient! Faith equals obedience. We just have to go with a willing heart to see people set free! Hallelujah!
It’s absolutely not theology that’s a hindrance, it’s the addition of man made religious practices and doctrines that aren’t Biblical. The faith was activated by some practice that the person who was healed believed in. It’s why people can cast out demons while not knowing the Lord
I respect you very deeply and have watched all your this is real podcasts this far, but seeing the title jezebel spirit I was thinking "oh no I don't want to hear about that so called spirit again", but you didn't speak in a way I expected, this was good. I have gained so much from your teachings, so thank you and keep on going.
The way I came to faith: coming directly out of a 12yr meth habit. My bf had just cheated on me & confessed. Then he set himself on fire. In the hospital I met his mother, who introduced me to Jesus, & explained the 'Jezebel spirit', & how this life is a spiritual battlefield. Suddenly my whole life made sense, in particular my relationships with men. That was the moment I gave my heart to Jesus. Learning of the 'Jezebel spirit' definitely had something to do with my acceptance of Christ in my life. However, my own repentance is what led to Jesus delivering me from the whole "realm" of the 'Jezebel spirit' that I believed Satan had used as a tool my entire life to try to bring me down.

This also has given me confusion because I don't know too much about this topic. I just realized I've never read it in the bible. I thought maybe I had to read up on the subject, but now I know the truth. When Jesus healed, He also had great compassion. I think healing comes from having great compassion and the faith in God’s desire to heal.

Good discussion. The lord brought me into a church environment a few years ago and has confronted me with the Jezebel spirit in the modern day church. Unfortunately it is because of a Jezebel spirit that much of church is in falsehood and a weak spiritual condition. I believe Jesus chose two characters in Revelation, Balaam and Jezebel from the old testament to warn the new testament church not to be deceived by these human religious characteristics. One of the first things I had to learn was that Jezebel is not a demon. Jezebel represents human character which can be in all of us and some more than others. It is primarily feminine as those characteristics are more natural to women but men can also succumb to those tendencies. The first rule I found the Holy Spirit saying to me was that I needed to search myself and repent of any Jezebel tendencies or teachings in me. Things like, wanting to manipulate people and situations, whether by actions, words or prayer. When it gets to the point of prayer it becomes spiritual witchcraft. Praying against certain people and even those who believe they can speak blessings over people. Believing that the power is in praying an elaborate (correct) prayer. Always evaluating and correcting others prayers. Jezebel emasculates the men bringing down God's ordained authority in the home and in the body of Christ. Jezebel can fix everything and accomplish great things which can be mistaken for the work of the Holy Spirit. The Jezebel Spirit is from the carnal human heart that Satan is empowering to dominate the modern day church. It becomes the false holy spirit which does invite demons to bring much desired signs, wonders and miracles. Mostly what does manifest is spiritual divination. Manifestations of emotional and physical experiences (false revival) void of true repentance. Finally false doctrines and teachings (the depths of Satan) which promote these things in the body of Christ. The results of which are spiritual adultery. Doctrines which become the high places, the asherah poles of the modern day church, responsible for the lack of true repentance, Holiness and true deliverance. For my people have committed two evils; they have forsaken me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water. Jeremiah 2:13 KJV We have been with child, we have been in pain; We have, as it were, brought forth wind; We have not accomplished any deliverance in the earth, Nor have the inhabitants of the world fallen. Isa 26:18 NKJV
You almost have to get a degree to cast out demons. I’m glad to know it’s not that complicated. If The Lord leads us to cast a demon out, we must have FAITH that He will do what He said. Amen.
Dear Torben, regarding demon and praying (and fasting), at time 58:06, please double check the context of Matthieu 17:21 in contrast with Marc 9:28-29 that tells about same event. You are right, in Matthieu 17:21 the word "demon" is an ad in the Bible and potentially the entire verse, but certainly not in Marc 9:29. I would have loved that the context of Matthieu 17:21 would have been about faith only but it is about casting out spirit which makes the case a little more complex. I am a big fan of "KISS" principle, still I am looking for the full truth. With Marc 9:29 in the equation we have to admit that there was something special with this demon that required additional effort. Your reaction to that would be highly welcomed.🙂❤

YES, if there was a spirit of Jezebel, or Hamon or Cain etc then those demons would be omnipresent , and if you look there are many of these deliverances done at the same time, in different places of the world which can not be so. we know that this cannot be true , that there are only so many demons, that fell with satan, and they can only be present in whom they are possessing , only God is omnipresent ! You guys are asking some of the right questions and quoting some the right scriptures. I came out of this spiritual warfare teaching 30 years ago. I stayed silent until 2 years ago when I launched my channel. Like many, you are asking the right questions but not hitting hard enough. I felt I had to come out of retirement and expose these false assumptions. Since I came out of the modern demonology teaching, I knew I had to say what others were not. there are many more assumptions that are extra-biblical. The Bible has lot's more to say about modern deliverance ministries than you are exposing. Please don't let this subject die. Go deeper, along with me and others, into the scriptures to expose many more assumptions about the devil, and demons, and spirits, and Satan. You are just scratching the surface. The scriptures have much more revelation than you have mentioned.

In church I hear it often that a particular song has a special anointing, a person has a special anointing on his or her life, the preacher has an anointing of 20.000 (meaning he has a church of that many people and this is to experience in his way of preaching), during the church service the anointing came down in the room, he or she is an anointed musician. True statement Anointing is a person being appointed/consecrated into a position. IN the OT the position of king for example with David, in the NT the appointing in the position as son/daughter of God. Evenmore the anoiting/anointed one (JEsus Christ) is inside of me so I am always anointed. Show the error in your own words and use scripture to back it up To use my own words the false doctrine is in the misuse of this word (anointing) using it wrongly to state what is happening in church. During a meeting I do experience differences in worship, sometimes powerful and people being touched and sometimes frosted. Even some songs are more powerful than others. What is actually meant is that the power of God (which is always the same) sometimes has more impact and the Spirit in people is stirred up more. The error of using wrong terminology is firstly to be found in the right meaning of the Hebrew word anointing/anointed. When you look up the word anointing/anointed/anoint it is: Strong's H4899 - mashiyach meaning: usually a consecrated person (as a king, priest, or saint). The other word Strong's H4886 - mashach: is to smear, anoint, spread a liquid. It is used as the physical expression/confirmation with oil of the appointing. In 2Sa 2:4 (KJ)and many more scriptures it is obvious that anointing is appointed/consecrated into a position, like David as king over Israel: And the men of Judah came, and there they anointed David king over the house of Judah. And they told David, saying, That the men of Jabeshgilead were they that buried Saul. 2Sa 5:3 So all the elders of Israel came to the king to Hebron; and king David made a league with them in Hebron before the LORD: and they anointed David king over Israel. In Isa 61:1 (KJ) it says...The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek...This is another example where the appointing is preaching good tidings unto the meak. You never see special power in any verse concerning anointing. In the new testament several occasions of anointing are mentioned. It was smearing with something. Eg oil in Luke 7:46 where it is the confirmation of Jesus as king. Also in the NT never power. It is Strong's G5548 - chriō having the same meaning: consecrated into a position or smear with oil. It is consecrating Jesus to the Messianic office. We already have the anointing: it is shown in John 2:20 But ye have an unction (anointing) from the Holy One, and ye know all things. And this anointing stays: John 2:27 says: but the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you… IF you do not know this, you have an attitude where you always have to get something from usually a person. We need to be aware of the anointing in us, because Jesus is the anointed one living inside of us. We must be aware of this not to be a special one with special gifts and then put on a pedestal. So it's not men's anointing but Jesus’ anointing.
Thanks! Would like to hear you talk about interpretation of dreams. I had Christian friends who used a book to interpret dreams. A car means this, the colour blue means that. Ultimately I felt uncomfortable about them praying for me because I wasn’t sure what they were into.
I love your videos. I remember reading about Thyatira in one of Barclays books on Revelation. Thyatira was a city dedicated to dyeing and fabrics. It was a city with many guilds and those guilds controlled the monetary success of different workers. However those guilds had many feasts with foods sacrificed to idols and other requirements that were forbidden to Christians.. To not sacrifice to the gods, to be a stickler, and to not attend these feasts would affect one's finances if one wanted success. At the same time, folks who were Christians didn't want to give up their faith. Like Balaam, Jezebel taught people how to compromise their beliefs about fornication and foods sacrificed to idols. These folks readily swallowed her version of Christianity. We don't know what her theology was. What we do know is that she promoted herself as a deep prophet who understood what God really meant. She may have been like the folks from the Corinthian church who were so spiritually into Gnosticism that they were actually proud of someone who would sleep with his father's wife, because gnostics were taught the body didn't matter.. Much to Pauls distress. When people think they know deep truths, they disobey the word by compromise. Jezebel used supposedly deep truths to get Christian believers to sin yet to not think they are sinning. Financial benefits and people's need to belong to those financial guilds made people sin. Compromise disguising itself as deep truth enabled them to make money and in many ways she was like Balaam. They both managed to play fast and loose with the word in order to belong to these guilds. All the while they were believing that they were more spiritual than other Christians who stick to the prohibitions mentioned in the Word.
Jezebel in the Old Testament wasn’t trying to hide her disdain for Yahweh, she publicly had prophets killed and promoted Baal. She was open in defiance, unlike people who try to clothe themselves with religious superiority especially through the use of actual Scripture
The Bible is full of workarounds. Xerxes working around the laws of the Medes and Persians that could not be changed. Joseph was going to divorce Mary privily instead of ya know possibly getting her stoned to death as a public example. Tamar used a workaround to get children from Judah. And with Absaloms sister Tamar there was the suggestion that the king could or might create a workaround for Amnon to marry his halfsister. Balaam using the workaround to get Israel cursed by making them fornicate and curse themselves. And of course, Jezebel.

Spirit of strife - Philippians 2:3; James 3:4 Suicide - Mark 5:5; Mark 5:13; Mark 9:22.
Blessings we must use the word of God to cast out demons truth always exposes the Devil so when we pray we must declare the word as we pray and they will came out it's a truth encounter not of power encounter al the time .
Sometimes I think some people get set free from their own belief that came through during a deliverance and the deliverer thinks it was them but it was the person getting delivered.
Yes, great points made here about faith being the main source of healing and deliverance and how Jesus healed them first and then people repented, not repent first and be healed. The thing is that I find that many people do get healed temporarily and then the pain or sickness comes back after awhile. This is because maybe they didn't repent of their sins or forgive others etc. I think we as the body need to really address this issue of being healed once and we're good for life idea, which I don't believe is the right mind set. We have to address the root cause of the pain or sickness which can be a lot of different issues like unforgiveness, sins, bad diet, lack of nutrition, toxins, bad emf's, bad habits, and many others.
Deut 13:1-3 (NIV) "If a prophet, or one who foretells by dreams, appears among you and announces to you a miraculous sign or wonder, and if the sign or wonder of which he has spoken takes place, and he says, 'Let us follow other gods' (gods you have not known) 'and let us worship them,' you must not listen to the words of that prophet or dreamer. The Lord your God is testing you to find out whether you love him with all your heart and with all your soul."
Such a good teaching! Please make a podcast about the book of Enoch when you and the team have time. There's too many "Christians" that think it's biblical. But it's not. It's a good historical read, but it's not inspired by the Holy Spirit at all. There are too many inconsistencies when reading it with the biblical narrative. But many people think it isn't. If people just did what the Bible said then women would wear head coverings, wives would submit themselves to their husbands as they do the Lord (as if he were God), women would not teach or hold authority over a man and men would all love their wives as Christ loved the church. (Genesis 3:16, 1 Cor 14:33-35, Ephesians 5:22-24, 1 Timothy 2:11-15)

This last week the Holy Spirit has been revealing this exact thing in deliverance ministries to me! I have been a part of such ministry and believing in the “necessary steps” to get delivered. I’ve been through deliverance at least four times and wasn’t free! God showed me it was my faith in Him alone, in His holy name that kept me from being delivered. I had given so much power to the demons by thinking on them and believing they are just so powerful that it would be hard to get rid of them. It was all a lie! They have no power over those who call on the name of Jesus!
Thank you for setting me free from the deliverance ministry, Jesus, and giving me true deliverance in You!

This is so needed! I believed a lot of these things for awhile when I was going through a fight for freedom in mine and my husband’s life. Over time God has been changing my understanding. What I’ve often seen from people who teach these things is that they are extremely suspicious of everyone. They see demons everywhere and they are not displaying fruits of the spirit. I see criticism, pride, fear and judgment. They are very cold when you see them unless you join them in their criticism. It makes me so sad. I see it hurting many people who are on the receiving end of the accusations. I want to love others and help them to get free but when I was under this influence I was more afraid of being affected by others. There’s also a constant fear of some spirit being transferred from the other person to yourself…but where is that in scripture?
This podcast is allowing me to grow and be strengthened so much. I know I can stand in the truth and not waiver from His word! Thank you Jesus for opening all our eyes to understand your true gospel more and more.

I recognize a lot of what you are saying. Thank you for speaking up for the truth. I experienced myself that I was not possessed, but simply needed to hear a specific Word from the Bible. This word entered my heart and just pierced it with Truth. I really needed to know God loved me (because of abandonment and rejection) and He revealed very specifically through His Word He did. It was for the first time in my life (brought up a Christian) that the Spirit healed my aching heart by speaking with a personal Word. It was not a deliverance ministry, but a prayer of a woman of faith and a surrendered heart crying out 'I need YOU'. In an instant I was free of deep fear, abondenment issues and suïcidal thoughts. The devil tried a few times to get into my mind again. Since then the Holy Spirit continually teaches me about the renewing of various strange doctrines or truths I came to believe in my life. It's an ongoing process of sanctification by repentance, grace, standing in the Word and in faith and giving me deeper understanding of the measure of Love of our God.
Still 'struggling' to discern The Spirit or human wisdom within my own mind. It often blurs the way I look at people, convinced in my own mind I know what it is they're tormented by, but not seeing their heart or hurt. Leaning to much on my own understanding.
How do we discern a demon? Will it really be that the Holy Spirit will put it in me? Perhaps the whole point is, I'm thinking it through instead of letting The Savior and Redeemer take care and trusting He will help everybody through it, trusting He will reveal to me in the right time what to say/pray, for I do believe in deliverance and healing for this age.
Help us to not be intimidated by demons, by powers, religion, sin or acts of the flesh and step out in faith, leaning on Your understanding and Your ways with an open and expecting heart to see You move mightily in every persons life! Amen!
This video has blessed me tremendously, I’m a believer who helps people get set free from demonic spirits. I never understood all of the name calling of demons, it brings confusion. These ministries don’t realize they are “passing the buck” or the blame from the person to the so called “evil spirit”. Instead of the person repenting the demon takes the blame to prevent that person from being truly delivered into the glorious freedom that is in Christ Jesus.

I am so happy to know the Holy Spirit is giving me discernment through all of your videos have been confirming all the things shown to me by the Holy Spirit discernment that you have posted.. we make things so complicated I wanted to grow in Christ so I started to listen to teachers who teach a lot about demons and different spirits I got so overwhelmed trying to read a book they mentioned naming so many demons and having to remember steps that I didn’t even want to cast out demons or get into that because I was full of fear as well and didn’t have the confidence. I thought this is wrong Lord why is it this way why do we need to make a whole book about something we don’t clearly see in the word of God? Then I watched the video you posted Torben of the simplicity of casting out demons and I never felt so free.. so many confusing teachings just bring confusion and slow down growth I’m sure Satan loves those teachings because it takes 5-10 hours to deliver someone and at the end the person is worn down! I totally agree about what yall are saying about demons and the anointing. I have always wondered the necessity of "knowing" the names of a demon to cast it out, I have had much success with just calling out either unclean spirit or by function such as witchcraft, infirmity, anxiety, etc... I am curious about what you said about curses though, it has been my experience sometimes that specific sins needed to be renounced and repented of before the curse will be broken. I had a friend a couple weeks ago that was having some demonic harassment and he was always renouncing and was having trouble getting freedom no matter who he went to so the Holy Spirit had me go to the throne room with Father as the Judge and then Holy Spirit led me to ask my friend to renounce some sins of his mother. I had him do it privately as it was none of my business but after he renounced the covenants I asked the Father to break the family curse by pleading the blood of Jesus and the second I made the request he began throwing up received deliverance and was leaping up and down for joy feeling as light as a feather. Intriguing experience for sure, but I guess my point is I have seen other instances where people didn't receive there deliverance from a curse until the particular sin was renounced. I guess I am wanting to know a little more in depth on your view of breaking curses.
Did your friend receive the Hoy Spirit? If not, he will be worse off than he was.
@@beckyd3546 That doesn't answer the question but he was Holy Spirit filled before we met. I only do deliverance if led by the Holy Spirit and I do not believe the Holy Spirit would unction me to do something that would put my friends life in danger.

It’s absolutely not theology that’s a hindrance, it’s the addition of man made religious practices and doctrines that aren’t Biblical. The faith was activated by some practice that the person who was healed believed in. It’s why people can cast out demons while not knowing the Lord
I respect you very deeply and have watched all your this is real podcasts this far, but seeing the title jezebel spirit I was thinking "oh no I don't want to hear about that so called spirit again", but you didn't speak in a way I expected, this was good. I have gained so much from your teachings, so thank you and keep on going.
The way I came to faith: coming directly out of a 12yr meth habit. My bf had just cheated on me & confessed. Then he set himself on fire. In the hospital I met his mother, who introduced me to Jesus, & explained the 'Jezebel spirit', & how this life is a spiritual battlefield. Suddenly my whole life made sense, in particular my relationships with men. That was the moment I gave my heart to Jesus. Learning of the 'Jezebel spirit' definitely had something to do with my acceptance of Christ in my life. However, my own repentance is what led to Jesus delivering me from the whole "realm" of the 'Jezebel spirit' that I believed Satan had used as a tool my entire life to try to bring me down.
Yes. That was wrong. But God used it and be thankful for that.

Good discussion. The lord brought me into a church environment a few years ago and has confronted me with the Jezebel spirit in the modern day church. Unfortunately it is because of a Jezebel spirit that much of church is in falsehood and a weak spiritual condition. I believe Jesus chose two characters in Revelation, Balaam and Jezebel from the old testament to warn the new testament church not to be deceived by these human religious characteristics. One of the first things I had to learn was that Jezebel is not a demon. Jezebel represents human character which can be in all of us and some more than others. It is primarily feminine as those characteristics are more natural to women but men can also succumb to those tendencies. The first rule I found the Holy Spirit saying to me was that I needed to search myself and repent of any Jezebel tendencies or teachings in me. Things like, wanting to manipulate people and situations, whether by actions, words or prayer. When it gets to the point of prayer it becomes spiritual witchcraft. Praying against certain people and even those who believe they can speak blessings over people. Believing that the power is in praying an elaborate (correct) prayer. Always evaluating and correcting others prayers. Jezebel emasculates the men bringing down God's ordained authority in the home and in the body of Christ. Jezebel can fix everything and accomplish great things which can be mistaken for the work of the Holy Spirit. The Jezebel Spirit is from the carnal human heart that Satan is empowering to dominate the modern day church. It becomes the false holy spirit which does invite demons to bring much desired signs, wonders and miracles. Mostly what does manifest is spiritual divination. Manifestations of emotional and physical experiences (false revival) void of true repentance. Finally false doctrines and teachings (the depths of Satan) which promote these things in the body of Christ. The results of which are spiritual adultery. Doctrines which become the high places, the asherah poles of the modern day church, responsible for the lack of true repentance, Holiness and true deliverance.

Dear Torben, regarding demon and praying (and fasting), at time 58:06, please double check the context of Matthieu 17:21 in contrast with Marc 9:28-29 that tells about same event. You are right, in Matthieu 17:21 the word "demon" is an ad in the Bible and potentially the entire verse, but certainly not in Marc 9:29. I would have loved that the context of Matthieu 17:21 would have been about faith only but it is about casting out spirit which makes the case a little more complex. I am a big fan of "KISS" principle, still I am looking for the full truth. With Marc 9:29 in the equation we have to admit that there was something special with this demon that required additional effort. Your reaction to that would be highly welcomed.🙂❤

YES, if there was a spirit of Jezebel, or Hamon or Cain etc then those demons would be omnipresent , and if you look there are many of these deliverances done at the same time, in different places of the world which can not be so. we know that this cannot be true , that there are only so many demons, that fell with satan, and they can only be present in whom they are possessing , only God is omnipresent ! Psalm 139 and so many more explain how God is the one that is omnipresent

You guys are asking some of the right questions and quoting some the right scriptures. I came out of this spiritual warfare teaching 30 years ago. I stayed silent until 2 years ago when I launched my channel. Like many, you are asking the right questions but not hitting hard enough. I felt I had to come out of retirement and expose these false assumptions. Since I came out of the modern demonology teaching, I knew I had to say what others were not. there are many more assumptions that are extra-biblical. The Bible has lot's more to say about modern deliverance ministries than you are exposing. Please don't let this subject die. Go deeper, along with me and others, into the scriptures to expose many more assumptions about the devil, and demons, and spirits, and Satan. You are just scratching the surface. The scriptures have much more revelation than you have mentioned.

Anointing is a special power during special moments or for/on certain people. In church I hear it often that a particular song has a special anointing, a person has a special anointing on his or her life, the preacher has an anointing of 20.000 (meaning he has a church of that many people and this is to experience in his way of preaching), during the church service the anointing came down in the room, he or she is an anointed musician.
True statement
Anointing is a person being appointed/consecrated into a position. IN the OT the position of king for example with David, in the NT the appointing in the position as son/daughter of God. Evenmore the anoiting/anointed one (JEsus Christ) is inside of me so I am always anointed.

To use my own words the false doctrine is in the misuse of this word (anointing) using it wrongly to state what is happening in church. During a meeting I do experience differences in worship, sometimes powerful and people being touched and sometimes frosted. Even some songs are more powerful than others. What is actually meant is that the power of God (which is always the same) sometimes has more impact and the Spirit in people is stirred up more.
The error of using wrong terminology is firstly to be found in the right meaning of the Hebrew word anointing/anointed. When you look up the word anointing/anointed/anoint it is: Strong's H4899 - mashiyach meaning: usually a consecrated person (as a king, priest, or saint). The other word Strong's H4886 - mashach: is to smear, anoint, spread a liquid. It is used as the physical expression/confirmation with oil of the appointing.
In 2Sa 2:4 (KJ)and many more scriptures it is obvious that anointing is appointed/consecrated into a position, like David as king over Israel: And the men of Judah came, and there they anointed David king over the house of Judah. And they told David, saying, That the men of Jabeshgilead were they that buried Saul. 2Sa 5:3 So all the elders of Israel came to the king to Hebron; and king David made a league with them in Hebron before the LORD: and they anointed David king over Israel.
In Isa 61:1 (KJ) it says...The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek...This is another example where the appointing is preaching good tidings unto the meak.
You never see special power in any verse concerning anointing.
In the new testament several occasions of anointing are mentioned. It was smearing with something. Eg oil in Luke 7:46 where it is the confirmation of Jesus as king. Also in the NT never power. It is Strong's G5548 - chriō having the same meaning: consecrated into a position or smear with oil. It is consecrating Jesus to the Messianic office.
We already have the anointing: it is shown in John 2:20 But ye have an unction (anointing) from the Holy One, and ye know all things. And this anointing stays: John 2:27 says: but the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you…
IF you do not know this, you have an attitude where you always have to get something from usually a person. We need to be aware of the anointing in us, because Jesus is the anointed one living inside of us. We must be aware of this not to be a special one with special gifts and then put on a pedestal. So it's not men's anointing but Jesus’ anointing.

I love your videos. I remember reading about Thyatira in one of Barclays books on Revelation. Thyatira was a city dedicated to dyeing and fabrics. It was a city with many guilds and those guilds controlled the monetary success of different workers. However those guilds had many feasts with foods sacrificed to idols and other requirements that were forbidden to Christians.. To not sacrifice to the gods, to be a stickler, and to not attend these feasts would affect one's finances if one wanted success. At the same time, folks who were Christians didn't want to give up their faith. Like Balaam, Jezebel taught people how to compromise their beliefs about fornication and foods sacrificed to idols. These folks readily swallowed her version of Christianity. We don't know what her theology was. What we do know is that she promoted herself as a deep prophet who understood what God really meant. She may have been like the folks from the Corinthian church who were so spiritually into Gnosticism that they were actually proud of someone who would sleep with his father's wife, because gnostics were taught the body didn't matter.. Much to Pauls distress. When people think they know deep truths, they disobey the word by compromise. Jezebel used supposedly deep truths to get Christian believers to sin yet to not think they are sinning. Financial benefits and people's need to belong to those financial guilds made people sin. Compromise disguising itself as deep truth enabled them to make money and in many ways she was like Balaam. They both managed to play fast and loose with the word in order to belong to these guilds. All the while they were believing that they were more spiritual than other Christians who stick to the prohibitions mentioned in the Word.
Jezebel in the Old Testament wasn’t trying to hide her disdain for Yahweh, she publicly had prophets killed and promoted Baal. She was open in defiance, unlike people who try to clothe themselves with religious superiority especially through the use of actual Scripture

The Bible is full of workarounds. Xerxes working around the laws of the Medes and Persians that could not be changed. Joseph was going to divorce Mary privily instead of ya know possibly getting her stoned to death as a public example. Tamar used a workaround to get children from Judah. And with Absaloms sister Tamar there was the suggestion that the king could or might create a workaround for Amnon to marry his halfsister. Balaam using the workaround to get Israel cursed by making them fornicate and curse themselves. And of course, Jezebel.

Sometimes I think some people get set free from their own belief that came through during a deliverance and the deliverer thinks it was them but it was the person getting delivered.
Yes, great points made here about faith being the main source of healing and deliverance and how Jesus healed them first and then people repented, not repent first and be healed. The thing is that I find that many people do get healed temporarily and then the pain or sickness comes back after awhile. This is because maybe they didn't repent of their sins or forgive others etc. I think we as the body need to really address this issue of being healed once and we're good for life idea, which I don't believe is the right mind set. We have to address the root cause of the pain or sickness which can be a lot of different issues like unforgiveness, sins, bad diet, lack of nutrition, toxins, bad emf's, bad habits, and many others.

Because we only see a couple of sprits that are named in the New Testament for example death, mute. What example do we see of anxiety, lust, pornography. From the day Jesus Christ sacrifice and die for us, the laws of Sin from Adam and Eve already break and forgiven. So for the people who still a live and who Sin again after Christ die will be a sinner again only if he/she repent thru Christ will be forgiven and sin no more.
After repentance still think that he have sin or still have demon in them, is because Thier faith in God is not strong or still have doubts in them. So no doubt after repentance and believe in jesus and father in heaven. Or else the disturbing will be still in you.
Why Jesus ask for demon name is because I think that person himself tough the region is in him, when he say out the problems that he believes in that faith of sin or demon, Jesus cast that person faith in that thinking aways. By the power of Jesus himself. Jesus also set example of his faith with God father.
God father send Jesus down is to set example for us. The most important is to die for us first ,break the Laws of Sin.
